Lobt unseren Gott!

100 Ein Psalm, der beim Dankopfer vorgetragen wird.

Jubelt dem Herrn zu, alle Länder der Erde!
2 Dient dem Herrn mit Freude,
kommt vor ihn mit Jubel!
3 Erkennt, dass der Herr allein Gott ist!
Er hat uns geschaffen, ihm gehören wir.[a]
Wir sind sein Volk, seine Herde,
und er ist unser Hirte, der uns auf seine Weide führt![b]

4 Kommt in die Tore seiner Stadt mit Dank,
in die Vorhöfe seines Heiligtums mit Lobgesang![c]
Dankt ihm und preist seinen Namen!
5 Denn reich an Güte ist der Herr, ewig währt seine Gnade,
und seine Treue gilt auch allen künftigen Generationen.

Psalm 100

A psalm. For giving grateful praise.

1 Shout for joy(A) to the Lord, all the earth.
2     Worship the Lord(B) with gladness;
    come before him(C) with joyful songs.
3 Know that the Lord is God.(D)
    It is he who made us,(E) and we are his[a];
    we are his people,(F) the sheep of his pasture.(G)

4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving(H)
    and his courts(I) with praise;
    give thanks to him and praise his name.(J)
5 For the Lord is good(K) and his love endures forever;(L)
    his faithfulness(M) continues through all generations.

A Song of Praise

100 Call out with joy to the Lord, all the earth. 2 Be glad as you serve the Lord. Come before Him with songs of joy. 3 Know that the Lord is God. It is He Who made us, and not we ourselves. We are His people and the sheep of His field.

4 Go into His gates giving thanks and into His holy place with praise. Give thanks to Him. Honor His name. 5 For the Lord is good. His loving-kindness lasts forever. And He is faithful to all people and to all their children-to-come.
