John 15:6-8

⁶Whoever does not abide in me
will be thrown away like a withered branch.
Such branches are gathered up,
thrown into the fire, and burned.
⁷“If you abide in me
and my words abide in you,
you may ask for whatever you wish,
and it will be done for you.
⁸By this is my Father glorified,
that you bear much fruit
and become my disciples.
