12 逾越节前六天,耶稣来到伯大尼,就是祂叫拉撒路从死里复活的村子。 村里有人为耶稣预备了晚饭,拉撒路也与耶稣同席,玛大在旁边伺候。 玛丽亚拿出一瓶[a]珍贵的纯哪哒香膏来抹耶稣的脚,又用自己的头发去擦,屋里顿时充满了香气。

有一个门徒,就是将要出卖耶稣的加略人犹大说: “为什么不把香膏卖三百个银币[b]去周济穷人呢?” 他这样说不是因为他真的关心穷人,其实他是个贼,常常借管钱的机会中饱私囊。

耶稣说:“由她吧!她这是为我安葬作预备。 因为你们身边总会有穷人,可是你们身边不会总有我。”

有许多犹太人知道耶稣在那里,就来看祂,不单是为了看耶稣,也想看看从死里复活的拉撒路。 10 于是,祭司长计划连拉撒路也杀掉, 11 因为有许多犹太人因为拉撒路的缘故离开他们,去信了耶稣。

光荣进圣城

12 第二天,很多上来过节的人听见耶稣快到耶路撒冷了, 13 就拿着棕树枝出去迎接祂,并且高声欢呼:

“和散那[c]
奉主名来的以色列王当受称颂!”

14 那时,耶稣找到一头驴驹,就骑上它,正如圣经记载:

15 “锡安的居民啊,不要害怕!

耶稣预言自己的死

20 有几个希腊人也上耶路撒冷过节。 21 他们找到了加利利的伯赛大人腓力,请求说:“先生,我们想见见耶稣。” 22 腓力把这件事告诉安得烈,二人去转告耶稣。

23 耶稣说:“人子得荣耀的时候到了。 24 我实实在在地告诉你们,一粒麦子如果不落在地里死了,仍是一粒,如果死了,就会结出许多麦粒来。 25 爱惜自己生命的,必会失掉生命;憎恶自己今世生命的,才能保住生命,直到永生。 26 谁要事奉我,就要跟从我。我在哪里,事奉我的人也要在哪里。我父必尊重事奉我的人。

27 “我现在心里忧伤,说什么才好呢?求父救我离开这个时刻吗?然而,我原是为这个时刻来的。 28 父啊!愿你使自己的名得荣耀!”

当时天上有声音说:“我已使自己的名得了荣耀,并且还要得荣耀。”

29 站在那里的人群中有人听见就说:“打雷了!”也有人说:“是天使在跟祂说话。”

30 耶稣说:“这声音不是为我发出的,是为你们发出的。 31 现在是这世界受审判的时候,世界的王[d]要被赶出去了。 32 至于我,当我从地上被举起来时,必吸引万人归向我。” 33 耶稣这句话指的是祂会怎样死。

34 众人问:“我们从律法书上知道,基督是永远长存的,你怎么说‘人子要被举起来’呢?这人子是谁呢?”

35 耶稣对他们说:“光在你们中间照耀的时候不多了,你们要趁着有光的时候走路,免得黑暗来临后,走在黑暗里的人不知道要往哪里去。 36 所以你们当趁着有光的时候信从光,好成为光明的儿女。”

耶稣说完后,便离开他们,隐藏起来。

犹太人不信祂

37 耶稣虽然在他们面前行了许多神迹,他们还是不信祂。 38 这是要应验以赛亚先知的话:

“主啊,谁相信我们所传的呢?主的能力[e]向谁显现呢?”
39 接着,以赛亚又说出他们不能信的缘故:
40 “主使他们眼瞎、心硬,
免得他们眼睛看见,
心里明白,回心转意,
就得到我的医治。”

41 以赛亚看见了祂的荣耀,所以才这样说。 42 虽然这样,仍有很多犹太的官员信了耶稣,只是在法利赛人面前不敢公开承认,因为害怕会被赶出会堂。 43 因为他们爱从世人而来的荣耀,胜过爱从上帝而来的荣耀。

耶稣的道要审判人

44 耶稣高声说:“信我的,其实不只是信我,而是信差我来的那位。 45 人看见了我,就是看见了差我来的那位。 46 我来是要作世界的光,好叫信我的人脱离黑暗。 47 听了我的话却不遵守的人,我不审判他,因为我来不是要审判世人,而是要拯救世人。 48 弃绝我、不接受我话的人将受到审判,我讲过的道在末日要审判他, 49 因为我不是凭自己讲的,我说什么、讲什么都是差我来的父吩咐的。 50 我知道祂的命令能带来永生。所以祂怎么告诉我,我就怎么说。”

Chapter 12

The Anointing at Bethany. Six days before the Passover, Jesus came to Bethany, the hometown of Lazarus, whom he had raised from the dead. They gave a dinner there for him. Martha served the meal, and Lazarus was among those at table with him.

Mary brought in a pint[a] of very costly ointment, made from pure nard, anointed Jesus’ feet, and dried them with her hair. The house was filled with the fragrance of the ointment. Judas Iscariot, one of his disciples, the one who was about to betray him, said, “Why was this ointment not sold for three hundred denarii[b] and the money given to the poor?” He said this not because he had any concern for the poor but because he was a thief. He was in charge of the money bag, and he used to steal from it.

Jesus said in response, “Leave her alone! Let her keep it for the day of my burial. The poor you will always have with you, but you will not always have me.”

Meanwhile, a large number of Jews learned that he was there, and they came not only because of Jesus but also because they wanted to see Lazarus, whom he had raised from the dead. 10 The chief priests then decided to put Lazarus to death as well, 11 since it was because of him that many of the Jews were leaving and putting their faith in Jesus.

12 The Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem.[c] The next day the great crowd of people who had come for the feast heard that Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem. 13 Thus, they went out to meet him, carrying branches of palm[d] and shouting,

“Hosanna!
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord,
the King of Israel.”

14 Jesus found a young donkey and rode it, as it is written,

15 “Do not be afraid, daughter of Zion.[e]
    Behold, your King is coming,
    riding on a donkey’s colt.”

16 At first, his disciples did not understand this, but later, when Jesus had been glorified, they recalled that these things had been written about him and had happened to him.

17 Now the people who had been present when he called Lazarus out of the tomb and raised him from the dead continued to testify about this.[f] 18 Because the crowd had heard that he had performed this sign, they went out to meet him. 19 So the Pharisees said to one another, “As you see, we are getting nowhere. The entire world has gone after him.”

20 The Glory of the Cross.[g] Among those who had come up to worship at the feast were some Greeks.[h] 21 They approached Philip, who was from Bethsaida in Galilee, and said to him, “Sir, we would like to see Jesus. 22 Philip went to tell Andrew of this, and Philip and Andrew informed Jesus. 23 Jesus answered them,

“The hour has come
for the Son of Man to be glorified.
24 Amen, amen, I say to you,
unless a grain of wheat
falls into the earth and dies,
it remains just a grain of wheat.
However, if it dies,
it bears much fruit.
25 “Anyone who loves his life loses it,
but the one who hates his life in this world
will preserve it for eternal life.
26 If anyone wishes to serve me,
he must follow me.
Where I am,
there also will my servant be.
If anyone serves me,
my Father will honor that person.
27 “Now my soul is troubled.
Yet what should I say:
‘Father, save me from this hour’?
No, it was for this
that I have come to this hour.
28 Father, glorify your name.”

Then a voice came from heaven,

“I have glorified it,
and I will glorify it again.”

29 The crowd that was present heard this, and some of them said that it was thunder, while others asserted, “An angel has spoken to him.” 30 Jesus answered,

“This voice did not come for my sake
but for yours.
31 Now is the judgment on this world.
Now the prince of this world[i]
will be driven out.
32 And when I am lifted up from the earth,
I will draw all to myself.”

33 He said this to indicate the kind of death he was to die.

34 The crowd answered, “Our Law[j] teaches that the Christ will remain forever. How then can you say that the Son of Man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of Man?” 35 Jesus replied,

“The light will be with you
for only a little longer.
Go on your way
while you still have the light,
so that the darkness
will not overtake you.
“Whoever walks in the darkness
does not know where he is going.
36 While you have the light,
believe in the light
so that you may become children of light.”

After Jesus had said this, he departed and hid himself from their sight.

37 The Choice To Believe in the Light.[k] Although he had performed so many signs in their presence, they did not believe in him. 38 This was to fulfill the word of the prophet Isaiah,

“Lord, who has believed our preaching?
    To whom has the power of the Lord been revealed?”

39 They therefore could not believe for as Isaiah said,

40 “He has blinded their eyes
    and hardened their hearts,
lest they see with their eyes
    and understand with their hearts,
and thereby be converted,
    so that I could heal them.”[l]

41 Isaiah said this because he saw his glory, and his words referred to him.

42 Nevertheless, there were many, even among the authorities, who believed in him, but because of the Pharisees they did not confess their faith in him, for fear of being banned from the synagogue.[m] 43 For they valued human glory more highly than the glory that comes from God.

44 The Choice To Believe in Jesus.[n] Then Jesus cried out,

“Whoever believes in me
believes not only in me
but in him who sent me.
45 And whoever sees me
sees the one who sent me.
46 I have come into the world as light
so that everyone who believes in me
may not have to remain in darkness.
47 [o]“But if anyone listens to my words
and fails to observe them,
I will not pass judgment on him,
for I did not come to judge the world
but to save the world.
48 Anyone who rejects me
and does not accept my words
already has a judge.
On the last day,
the word that I have spoken
will serve as his judge.
49 “For I have not spoken on my own,
but the Father who sent me
has himself given me command
about what I am to say
and how I am to speak.
50 I know that his commandment
is eternal life.
Therefore, what I speak
is what the Father has told me to say.”

    To the crowd, among whom are sympathetic Gentiles, he proposes the image of a grain of wheat that must die. Conscious of the necessity for his death, he realizes the fruitfulness of his approaching sacrifice for the whole world.
    Paradoxically, that death is elevation and glorification: it will show who Jesus is and be the reversal in the fate of human beings. As in the account of the agony in the garden related by the Synoptics (Mt 26:36-46; Mk 14:32-42; Lk 22:39-46), he overcomes his fear in the face of what humans regard as ruin; he dominates the cruel paradox.
    His death transforms the fate of the world: it is defeat for the forces of evil and opens up hope for those called to the communion of Jesus, to life.
    Here is an unexpected Messiah who completes God’s work by his own death; as here, so elsewhere we read constantly of Christ’s invitation to his disciples to share his lot (see Mt 16:25; Mk 8:35; Lk 9:24). Believers may fear death but not lose hope, since for Jesus, in whom they believe, the hour of death was the hour in which he conquered the devil, was glorified by the Father, and showed himself to be the light of the world. This beautiful text leaves us the meditation of the ancient Church on the cross of Christ; it has become the glorious cross.

  12. John 12:40 This text, like others in the Old Testament, appears to say that hardened hearts and blinded eyes are God’s doing. However, the evangelist is simply assuring Christian readers that even though God would give people every opportunity to convert, many would still choose to stay in their sin.
  13. John 12:42 John is indicating that in the Israel of his time there is, as always, a remnant that believes. But they are not a true People of God because of their fear of being excommunicated by the authorities.
  14. John 12:44 But who is the light? It is Jesus himself, sent by the Father to make known the Father’s love and to save believers. All through the Gospel, Christ has testified how deeply aware he is of this mission because of the unity in which he lives with his Father. What Jesus says in these few verses sums up his entire teaching concerning his mission.
  15. John 12:47 This parallels the statement found at the end of the Sermon on the Mount (Mt 7:24-27). Everything hangs upon a person’s acceptance or rejection of what Jesus has said.

The Anointing at Bethany(A)

But one of His disciples, (F)Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, who would betray Him, said, “Why was this fragrant oil not sold for [b]three hundred denarii and given to the poor?” This he said, not that he cared for the poor, but because he was a thief, and (G)had the money box; and he used to take what was put in it.

But Jesus said, “Let her alone; [c]she has kept this for the day of My burial. For (H)the poor you have with you always, but Me you do not have always.”

The Plot to Kill Lazarus

Now a great many of the Jews knew that He was there; and they came, not for Jesus’ sake only, but that they might also see Lazarus, (I)whom He had raised from the dead. 10 (J)But the chief priests plotted to put Lazarus to death also, 11 (K)because on account of him many of the Jews went away and believed in Jesus.

The Triumphal Entry(L)

12 (M)The next day a great multitude that had come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, 13 took branches of palm trees and went out to meet Him, and cried out:

“Hosanna!
(N)‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’
The King of Israel!”

14 (O)Then Jesus, when He had found a young donkey, sat on it; as it is written:

15 “Fear(P) not, daughter of Zion;
Behold, your King is coming,
Sitting on a donkey’s colt.”

16 (Q)His disciples did not understand these things at first; (R)but when Jesus was glorified, (S)then they remembered that these things were written about Him and that they had done these things to Him.

17 Therefore the people, who were with Him when He called Lazarus out of his tomb and raised him from the dead, bore witness. 18 (T)For this reason the people also met Him, because they heard that He had done this sign. 19 The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, (U)“You see that you are accomplishing nothing. Look, the world has gone after Him!”

The Fruitful Grain of Wheat

20 Now there (V)were certain Greeks among those (W)who came up to worship at the feast. 21 Then they came to Philip, (X)who was from Bethsaida of Galilee, and asked him, saying, “Sir, we wish to see Jesus.”

22 Philip came and told Andrew, and in turn Andrew and Philip told Jesus.

23 But Jesus answered them, saying, (Y)“The hour has come that the Son of Man should be glorified. 24 Most assuredly, I say to you, (Z)unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much [d]grain. 25 (AA)He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. 26 If anyone serves Me, let him (AB)follow Me; and (AC)where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.

Jesus Predicts His Death on the Cross

27 (AD)“Now My soul is troubled, and what shall I say? ‘Father, save Me from this hour’? (AE)But for this purpose I came to this hour. 28 Father, glorify Your name.”

(AF)Then a voice came from heaven, saying, “I have both glorified it and will glorify it again.”

29 Therefore the people who stood by and heard it said that it had thundered. Others said, “An angel has spoken to Him.”

30 Jesus answered and said, (AG)“This voice did not come because of Me, but for your sake. 31 Now is the judgment of this world; now (AH)the ruler of this world will be cast out. 32 And I, (AI)if I am [e]lifted up from the earth, will draw (AJ)all peoples to Myself.” 33 (AK)This He said, signifying by what death He would die.

34 The people answered Him, (AL)“We have heard from the law that the Christ remains forever; and how can You say, ‘The Son of Man must be lifted up’? Who is this Son of Man?”

35 Then Jesus said to them, “A little while longer (AM)the light is with you. (AN)Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you; (AO)he who walks in darkness does not know where he is going. 36 While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become (AP)sons of light.” These things Jesus spoke, and departed, and (AQ)was hidden from them.

Who Has Believed Our Report?

37 But although He had done so many (AR)signs before them, they did not believe in Him, 38 that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spoke:

(AS)“Lord, who has believed our report?
And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”

39 Therefore they could not believe, because Isaiah said again:

40 “He(AT) has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts,
(AU)Lest they should see with their eyes,
Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn,
So that I should heal them.”

41 (AV)These things Isaiah said [f]when he saw His glory and spoke of Him.

Walk in the Light

42 Nevertheless even among the rulers many believed in Him, but (AW)because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue; 43 (AX)for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.

44 Then Jesus cried out and said, (AY)“He who believes in Me, (AZ)believes not in Me (BA)but in Him who sent Me. 45 And (BB)he who sees Me sees Him who sent Me. 46 (BC)I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness. 47 And if anyone hears My words and does not [g]believe, (BD)I do not judge him; for (BE)I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. 48 (BF)He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him—(BG)the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day. 49 For (BH)I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, (BI)what I should say and what I should speak. 50 And I know that His command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, just as the Father has told Me, so I (BJ)speak.”

Meanwhile a large crowd of Jews found out that Jesus was there and came, not only because of him but also to see Lazarus, whom he had raised from the dead.(K) 10 So the chief priests made plans to kill Lazarus as well, 11 for on account of him(L) many of the Jews were going over to Jesus and believing in him.(M)

Jesus Comes to Jerusalem as King(N)

35 Then Jesus told them, “You are going to have the light(AT) just a little while longer. Walk while you have the light,(AU) before darkness overtakes you.(AV) Whoever walks in the dark does not know where they are going. 36 Believe in the light while you have the light, so that you may become children of light.”(AW) When he had finished speaking, Jesus left and hid himself from them.(AX)

Belief and Unbelief Among the Jews

37 Even after Jesus had performed so many signs(AY) in their presence, they still would not believe in him. 38 This was to fulfill the word of Isaiah the prophet:

“Lord, who has believed our message
    and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”[h](AZ)

39 For this reason they could not believe, because, as Isaiah says elsewhere:

40 “He has blinded their eyes
    and hardened their hearts,
so they can neither see with their eyes,
    nor understand with their hearts,
    nor turn—and I would heal them.”[i](BA)

41 Isaiah said this because he saw Jesus’ glory(BB) and spoke about him.(BC)

42 Yet at the same time many even among the leaders believed in him.(BD) But because of the Pharisees(BE) they would not openly acknowledge their faith for fear they would be put out of the synagogue;(BF) 43 for they loved human praise(BG) more than praise from God.(BH)

44 Then Jesus cried out, “Whoever believes in me does not believe in me only, but in the one who sent me.(BI) 45 The one who looks at me is seeing the one who sent me.(BJ) 46 I have come into the world as a light,(BK) so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness.

47 “If anyone hears my words but does not keep them, I do not judge that person. For I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world.(BL) 48 There is a judge for the one who rejects me and does not accept my words; the very words I have spoken will condemn them(BM) at the last day. 49 For I did not speak on my own, but the Father who sent me commanded me(BN) to say all that I have spoken. 50 I know that his command leads to eternal life.(BO) So whatever I say is just what the Father has told me to say.”(BP)

Jesus blir smord i Betania

12 Sex dagar före påsk kom Jesus till Betania där Lasarus bodde, han som Jesus hade uppväckt från de döda. Där ordnade de en festmåltid för honom. Marta passade upp, och Lasarus var en av dem som låg till bords med honom. Då tog Maria en hel flaska dyrbar äkta nardusolja[a] och smorde Jesu fötter och torkade dem med sitt hår, och huset fylldes av doften från oljan.

Men Judas Iskariot, en av hans lärjungar, den som skulle förråda honom, invände: "Varför sålde man inte den oljan för trehundra denarer och gav till de fattiga?" Det sade han inte för att han brydde sig om de fattiga, utan för att han var en tjuv och brukade ta för sig av det som lades i kassan som han hade hand om. Jesus sade då: "Låt henne vara. Hon har sparat[b] den till min begravningsdag. (A) De fattiga har ni alltid bland er, men mig har ni inte alltid[c]."

(B) En stor mängd judar fick veta att Jesus var där, och de kom inte bara för Jesu skull utan också för att se Lasarus som han hade uppväckt från de döda. 10 Då bestämde sig översteprästerna för att döda även Lasarus, 11 eftersom många judar lämnade dem för hans skull och trodde på Jesus.

Jesus rider in i Jerusalem

12 (C) Nästa dag hade folk i stora skaror kommit till högtiden. När de fick höra att Jesus var på väg in i Jerusalem, 13 (D) tog de palmblad och gick ut för att möta honom. Och de ropade: "Hosianna[d]! Välsignad är han som kommer i Herrens namn, han som är Israels kung!" 14 Jesus fann ett åsneföl och satt upp på det, som det står skrivet:

15 Var inte rädd, dotter Sion![e]
    Se, din kung kommer,
        ridande på ett åsneföl.

16 (E) Hans lärjungar förstod först inte detta. Men när Jesus hade blivit förhärligad, kom de ihåg att det var skrivet så om honom och att man hade gjort så för honom.

17 Alla som hade varit med honom när han kallade Lasarus ut ur graven och uppväckte honom från de döda vittnade nu om detta, 18 och många kom ut och mötte honom därför att de hörde att han hade gjort detta tecken. 19 Då sade fariseerna till varandra: "Ser ni att ni inte kommer någon vart? Hela världen springer ju efter honom."

Jesus förutsäger sin död

20 Bland dem som hade kommit upp för att tillbe vid högtiden fanns några greker[f]. 21 De kom nu till Filippus, som var från Betsaida[g] i Galileen, och bad honom: "Herre, vi vill se Jesus." 22 Filippus gick och talade om det för Andreas, och Andreas och Filippus gick och berättade det för Jesus.

23 (F) Jesus svarade: "Stunden har kommit när Människosonen ska förhärligas. 24 Jag säger er sanningen: Om vetekornet inte faller i jorden och dör, förblir det ett ensamt korn. Men om det dör bär det rik frukt. 25 (G) Den som älskar sitt liv förlorar det, men den som sätter sitt liv sist[h] i den här världen ska bevara det[i] till evigt liv. 26 (H) Om någon vill tjäna mig ska han följa mig, och där jag är ska också min tjänare vara. Om någon tjänar mig ska Fadern ära honom.

27 (I) Nu är min själ i ångest. Vad ska jag säga? Far, fräls mig från denna stund? Nej, det är för denna stund jag har kommit. 28 (J) Far, förhärliga ditt namn!"

Då kom en röst från himlen: "Jag har förhärligat det, och jag ska förhärliga det igen." 29 Folket som stod där och hörde det sade att det var åskan, andra sade att det var en ängel som talade till honom. 30 (K) Jesus svarade: "Den rösten kom inte för min skull, utan för er. 31 (L) Nu går en dom över denna värld. Nu ska denna världens furste kastas ut. 32 Och när jag blivit upphöjd från jorden, ska jag dra alla till mig." 33 Detta sade han för att ange på vilket sätt han skulle dö.

34 (M) Då sade folket till honom: "Vi har hört i lagen att Messias ska vara kvar för alltid[j]. Hur kan du då säga att Människosonen måste bli upphöjd? Vad är det för en Människoson[k]?" 35 (N) Jesus sade till dem: "Ännu en kort tid är ljuset bland er. Vandra medan ni har ljuset så att inte mörkret övervinner er. Den som vandrar i mörkret vet inte vart han går. 36 Tro på ljuset medan ni har ljuset, så att ni blir ljusets barn." När Jesus hade sagt detta, drog han sig undan och dolde sig för dem.

Judarnas otro

37 Trots att han hade gjort så många tecken inför dem trodde de inte på honom. 38 Så uppfylldes profeten Jesajas ord: Herre, vem trodde vår predikan, och för vem blev Herrens arm uppenbarad?[l] 39 Alltså kunde de inte tro, för Jesaja har också sagt:

40 Han har förblindat deras ögon
        och förhärdat deras hjärta,
    så att de inte ser med sina ögon
        och förstår med sitt hjärta
    och vänder om och blir helade
        av mig.[m]

41 Så sade Jesaja därför att han såg hans härlighet och talade om honom.

42 (O) Ändå var det många som trodde på honom, även bland rådsherrarna. Men för fariseernas skull ville de inte bekänna det, för att inte bli uteslutna ur synagogan. 43 (P) De älskade människors ära mer än äran från Gud.

44 (Q) Jesus ropade: "Den som tror på mig, han tror inte på mig utan på honom som har sänt mig. 45 (R) Och den som ser mig, han ser honom som har sänt mig. 46 (S) Jag har kommit till världen som ett ljus, för att ingen som tror på mig ska bli kvar i mörkret. 47 (T) Om någon hör mina ord och inte håller dem, så dömer inte jag honom, för jag har inte kommit för att döma världen utan för att frälsa världen. 48 (U) Den som förkastar mig och inte tar emot mina ord har en domare över sig: det ord som jag har talat ska döma honom på den yttersta dagen. 49 (V) Jag har inte talat av mig själv, utan Fadern som har sänt mig har befallt mig vad jag ska säga och tala. 50 Och jag vet att hans befallning är evigt liv. Det jag talar, talar jag därför så som Fadern har sagt mig."
