宜谨守诫命
3 我儿,不要忘记我的法则[a],你心要谨守我的诫命, 2 因为他必将长久的日子、生命的年数与平安加给你。 3 不可使慈爱、诚实离开你,要系在你颈项上,刻在你心版上。 4 这样,你必在神和世人眼前蒙恩宠,有聪明。 5 你要专心仰赖耶和华,不可倚靠自己的聪明, 6 在你一切所行的事上都要认定他,他必指引你的路。 7 不要自以为有智慧,要敬畏耶和华,远离恶事。 8 这便医治你的肚脐,滋润你的百骨。 9 你要以财物和一切初熟的土产尊荣耶和华, 10 这样,你的仓房必充满有余,你的酒榨有新酒盈溢。 11 我儿,你不可轻看耶和华的管教[b],也不可厌烦他的责备。 12 因为耶和华所爱的,他必责备,正如父亲责备所喜爱的儿子。
智慧之宝贵

4 这样,你在 神和世人眼前,
必蒙恩宠,得着美名(“名”原文作“明慧”)。
5 你要一心仰赖耶和华,
不可倚靠自己的聪明;
6 在你一切所行的路上,都要承认他,
他必使你的路径平坦正直。
7 不可自以为有智慧,
要敬畏耶和华,远离恶事。
8 这必使你的身体健康,
使你的骨头滋润。
9 你要把你的财物,
和一切初熟的农作物,敬奉耶和华。

16 智慧的右手有长寿,
左手有财富和尊荣。
17 智慧的道路尽是欢悦,
智慧的路径全是平安。
18 对紧握智慧的人来说,智慧是生命树,

Wisdom Bestows Well-Being
3 My son,(A) do not forget my teaching,(B)
but keep my commands in your heart,
2 for they will prolong your life many years(C)
and bring you peace and prosperity.(D)
3 Let love and faithfulness(E) never leave you;
bind them around your neck,
write them on the tablet of your heart.(F)
4 Then you will win favor and a good name
in the sight of God and man.(G)
5 Trust in the Lord(H) with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths(I) straight.[a](J)
7 Do not be wise in your own eyes;(K)
fear the Lord(L) and shun evil.(M)
8 This will bring health to your body(N)
and nourishment to your bones.(O)
9 Honor the Lord with your wealth,
with the firstfruits(P) of all your crops;
10 then your barns will be filled(Q) to overflowing,
and your vats will brim over with new wine.(R)
11 My son,(S) do not despise the Lord’s discipline,(T)
and do not resent his rebuke,
12 because the Lord disciplines those he loves,(U)

those who gain understanding,
14 for she is more profitable than silver

17 Her ways are pleasant ways,
