32 諸 天 哪 ， 側 耳 ， 我 要 說 話 ； 願 地 也 聽 我 口 中 的 言 語 。
2 我 的 教 訓 要 淋 漓 如 雨 ； 我 的 言 語 要 滴 落 如 露 ， 如 細 雨 降 在 嫩 草 上 ， 如 甘 霖 降 在 菜 蔬 中 。
3 我 要 宣 告 耶 和 華 的 名 ； 你 們 要 將 大 德 歸 與 我 們 的 神 。
4 他 是 磐 石 ， 他 的 作 為 完 全 ； 他 所 行 的 無 不 公 平 ， 是 誠 實 無 偽 的 神 ， 又 公 義 ， 又 正 直 。
5 這 乖 僻 彎 曲 的 世 代 向 他 行 事 邪 僻 ； 有 這 弊 病 就 不 是 他 的 兒 女 。
6 愚 昧 無 知 的 民 哪 ， 你 們 這 樣 報 答 耶 和 華 麼 ？ 他 豈 不 是 你 的 父 、 將 你 買 來 的 麼 ？ 他 是 製 造 你 、 建 立 你 的 。
7 你 當 追 想 上 古 之 日 ， 思 念 歷 代 之 年 ； 問 你 的 父 親 ， 他 必 指 示 你 ； 問 你 的 長 者 ， 他 必 告 訴 你 。
8 至 高 者 將 地 業 賜 給 列 邦 ， 將 世 人 分 開 ， 就 照 以 色 列 人 的 數 目 立 定 萬 民 的 疆 界 。
9 耶 和 華 的 分 本 是 他 的 百 姓 ； 他 的 產 業 本 是 雅 各 。
10 耶 和 華 遇 見 他 在 曠 野 ─ 荒 涼 野 獸 吼 叫 之 地 ， 就 環 繞 他 ， 看 顧 他 ， 保 護 他 ， 如 同 保 護 眼 中 的 瞳 人 。
11 又 如 鷹 攪 動 巢 窩 ， 在 雛 鷹 以 上 兩 翅 搧 展 ， 接 取 雛 鷹 ， 背 在 兩 翼 之 上 。
12 這 樣 ， 耶 和 華 獨 自 引 導 他 ， 並 無 外 邦 神 與 他 同 在 。
13 耶 和 華 使 他 乘 駕 地 的 高 處 ， 得 吃 田 間 的 土 產 ； 又 使 他 從 磐 石 中 咂 蜜 ， 從 堅 石 中 吸 油 ；
14 也 吃 牛 的 奶 油 ， 羊 的 奶 ， 羊 羔 的 脂 油 ， 巴 珊 所 出 的 公 綿 羊 和 山 羊 ， 與 上 好 的 麥 子 ， 也 喝 葡 萄 汁 釀 的 酒 。
15 但 耶 書 崙 漸 漸 肥 胖 ， 粗 壯 ， 光 潤 ， 踢 跳 ， 奔 跑 ， 便 離 棄 造 他 的 神 ， 輕 看 救 他 的 磐 石 ；
16 敬 拜 別 神 ， 觸 動 神 的 憤 恨 ， 行 可 憎 惡 的 事 ， 惹 了 他 的 怒 氣 。
17 所 祭 祀 的 鬼 魔 並 非 真 神 ， 乃 是 素 不 認 識 的 神 ， 是 近 來 新 興 的 ， 是 你 列 祖 所 不 畏 懼 的 。
18 你 輕 忽 生 你 的 磐 石 ， 忘 記 產 你 的 神 。
19 耶 和 華 看 見 他 的 兒 女 惹 動 他 ， 就 厭 惡 他 們 ， 說 ：
20 我 要 向 他 們 掩 面 ， 看 他 們 的 結 局 如 何 。 他 們 本 是 極 乖 僻 的 族 類 ， 心 中 無 誠 實 的 兒 女 。
21 他 們 以 那 不 算 為 神 的 觸 動 我 的 憤 恨 ， 以 虛 無 的 神 惹 了 我 的 怒 氣 。 我 也 要 以 那 不 成 子 民 的 觸 動 他 們 的 憤 恨 ， 以 愚 昧 的 國 民 惹 了 他 們 的 怒 氣 。
22 因 為 在 我 怒 中 有 火 燒 起 ， 直 燒 到 極 深 的 陰 間 ， 把 地 和 地 的 出 產 盡 都 焚 燒 ， 山 的 根 基 也 燒 著 了 。
23 我 要 將 禍 患 堆 在 他 們 身 上 ， 把 我 的 箭 向 他 們 射 盡 。
24 他 們 必 因 飢 餓 消 瘦 ， 被 炎 熱 苦 毒 吞 滅 。 我 要 打 發 野 獸 用 牙 齒 咬 他 們 ， 並 土 中 腹 行 的 ， 用 毒 氣 害 他 們 。
25 外 頭 有 刀 劍 ， 內 室 有 驚 恐 ， 使 人 喪 亡 ， 使 少 男 、 童 女 、 吃 奶 的 、 白 髮 的 ， 盡 都 滅 絕 。
26 我 說 ， 我 必 將 他 們 分 散 遠 方 ， 使 他 們 的 名 號 從 人 間 除 滅 。
27 惟 恐 仇 敵 惹 動 我 ， 只 怕 敵 人 錯 看 ， 說 ： 是 我 們 手 的 能 力 ， 並 非 耶 和 華 所 行 的 。
28 因 為 以 色 列 民 毫 無 計 謀 ， 心 中 沒 有 聰 明 。
29 惟 願 他 們 有 智 慧 ， 能 明 白 這 事 ， 肯 思 念 他 們 的 結 局 。
30 若 不 是 他 們 的 磐 石 賣 了 他 們 ， 若 不 是 耶 和 華 交 出 他 們 ， 一 人 焉 能 追 趕 他 們 千 人 ？ 二 人 焉 能 使 萬 人 逃 跑 呢 ？
31 據 我 們 的 仇 敵 自 己 斷 定 ， 他 們 的 磐 石 不 如 我 們 的 磐 石 。
32 他 們 的 葡 萄 樹 是 所 多 瑪 的 葡 萄 樹 ， 蛾 摩 拉 田 園 所 生 的 ； 他 們 的 葡 萄 是 毒 葡 萄 ， 全 挂 都 是 苦 的 。
33 他 們 的 酒 是 大 蛇 的 毒 氣 ， 是 虺 蛇 殘 害 的 惡 毒 。
34 這 不 都 是 積 蓄 在 我 這 裡 ， 封 鎖 在 我 府 庫 中 麼 ？
35 他 們 失 腳 的 時 候 ， 伸 冤 報 應 在 我 ； 因 他 們 遭 災 的 日 子 近 了 ； 那 要 臨 在 他 們 身 上 的 必 速 速 來 到 。
36 耶 和 華 見 他 百 姓 毫 無 能 力 ， 無 論 困 住 的 、 自 由 的 都 沒 有 剩 下 ， 就 必 為 他 們 伸 冤 ， 為 他 的 僕 人 後 悔 。
37 他 必 說 ： 他 們 的 神 ， 他 們 所 投 靠 的 磐 石 ，
38 就 是 向 來 吃 他 們 祭 牲 的 脂 油 ， 喝 他 們 奠 祭 之 酒 的 ， 在 那 裡 呢 ？ 他 可 以 興 起 幫 助 你 們 ， 護 衛 你 們 。
39 你 們 如 今 要 知 道 ： 我 ， 惟 有 我 是 神 ； 在 我 以 外 並 無 別 神 。 我 使 人 死 ， 我 使 人 活 ； 我 損 傷 ， 我 也 醫 治 ， 並 無 人 能 從 我 手 中 救 出 來 。
40 我 向 天 舉 手 說 ： 我 憑 我 的 永 生 起 誓 ：
41 我 若 磨 我 閃 亮 的 刀 ， 手 掌 審 判 之 權 ， 就 必 報 復 我 的 敵 人 ， 報 應 恨 我 的 人 。
42 我 要 使 我 的 箭 飲 血 飲 醉 ， 就 是 被 殺 被 擄 之 人 的 血 。 我 的 刀 要 吃 肉 ， 乃 是 仇 敵 中 首 領 之 頭 的 肉 。
43 你 們 外 邦 人 當 與 主 的 百 姓 一 同 歡 呼 ； 因 他 要 伸 他 僕 人 流 血 的 冤 ， 報 應 他 的 敵 人 ， 潔 淨 他 的 地 ， 救 贖 他 的 百 姓 。
44 摩 西 和 嫩 的 兒 子 約 書 亞 去 將 這 歌 的 一 切 話 說 給 百 姓 聽 。
45 摩 西 向 以 色 列 眾 人 說 完 了 這 一 切 的 話 ，
46 又 說 ： 我 今 日 所 警 教 你 們 的 ， 你 們 都 要 放 在 心 上 ； 要 吩 咐 你 們 的 子 孫 謹 守 遵 行 這 律 法 上 的 話 。
47 因 為 這 不 是 虛 空 、 與 你 們 無 關 的 事 ， 乃 是 你 們 的 生 命 ； 在 你 們 過 約 但 河 要 得 為 業 的 地 上 必 因 這 事 日 子 得 以 長 久 。
48 當 日 ， 耶 和 華 吩 咐 摩 西 說 ：
49 你 上 這 亞 巴 琳 山 中 的 尼 波 山 去 ， 在 摩 押 地 與 耶 利 哥 相 對 ， 觀 看 我 所 要 賜 給 以 色 列 人 為 業 的 迦 南 地 。
50 你 必 死 在 你 所 登 的 山 上 ， 歸 你 列 祖 （ 原 文 作 本 民 ） 去 ， 像 你 哥 哥 亞 倫 死 在 何 珥 山 上 ， 歸 他 的 列 祖 一 樣 。
51 因 為 你 們 在 尋 的 曠 野 ， 加 低 斯 的 米 利 巴 水 ， 在 以 色 列 人 中 沒 有 尊 我 為 聖 ， 得 罪 了 我 。
52 我 所 賜 給 以 色 列 人 的 地 ， 你 可 以 遠 遠 地 觀 看 ， 卻 不 得 進 去 。

32 Escuchad, cielos, y hablaré;
Y oiga la tierra los dichos de mi boca.
2 Goteará como la lluvia mi enseñanza;
Destilará como el rocío mi razonamiento;
Como la llovizna sobre la grama,
Y como las gotas sobre la hierba;
3 Porque el nombre de Jehová proclamaré.
Engrandeced a nuestro Dios.
4 Él es la Roca, cuya obra es perfecta,
Porque todos sus caminos son rectitud;
Dios de verdad, y sin ninguna iniquidad en él;
Es justo y recto.
5 La corrupción no es suya; de sus hijos es la mancha,
Generación torcida y perversa.
6 ¿Así pagáis a Jehová,
Pueblo loco e ignorante?
¿No es él tu padre que te creó?
Él te hizo y te estableció.
7 Acuérdate de los tiempos antiguos,
Considera los años de muchas generaciones;
Pregunta a tu padre, y él te declarará;
A tus ancianos, y ellos te dirán.
8 Cuando el Altísimo hizo heredar a las naciones,
Cuando hizo dividir a los hijos de los hombres,
Estableció los límites de los pueblos
Según el número de los hijos de Israel.
9 Porque la porción de Jehová es su pueblo;
Jacob la heredad que le tocó.
10 Le halló en tierra de desierto,
Y en yermo de horrible soledad;
Lo trajo alrededor, lo instruyó,
Lo guardó como a la niña de su ojo.
11 Como el águila que excita su nidada,
Revolotea sobre sus pollos,
Extiende sus alas, los toma,
Los lleva sobre sus plumas,
12 Jehová solo le guio,
Y con él no hubo dios extraño.
13 Lo hizo subir sobre las alturas de la tierra,
Y comió los frutos del campo,
E hizo que chupase miel de la peña,
Y aceite del duro pedernal;
14 Mantequilla de vacas y leche de ovejas,
Con grosura de corderos,
Y carneros de Basán; también machos cabríos,
Con lo mejor del trigo;
Y de la sangre de la uva bebiste vino.
15 Pero engordó Jesurún, y tiró coces
(Engordaste, te cubriste de grasa);
Entonces abandonó al Dios que lo hizo,
Y menospreció la Roca de su salvación.
16 Le despertaron a celos con los dioses ajenos;
Lo provocaron a ira con abominaciones.
17 Sacrificaron a los demonios, y no a Dios;(A)
A dioses que no habían conocido,
A nuevos dioses venidos de cerca,
Que no habían temido vuestros padres.
18 De la Roca que te creó te olvidaste;
Te has olvidado de Dios tu creador.
19 Y lo vio Jehová, y se encendió en ira
Por el menosprecio de sus hijos y de sus hijas.
20 Y dijo: Esconderé de ellos mi rostro,
Veré cuál será su fin;
Porque son una generación perversa,
Hijos infieles.
21 Ellos me movieron a celos(B) con lo que no es Dios;
Me provocaron a ira con sus ídolos;
Yo también los moveré a celos con un pueblo que no es pueblo,
Los provocaré a ira con una nación insensata.(C)
22 Porque fuego se ha encendido en mi ira,
Y arderá hasta las profundidades del Seol;
Devorará la tierra y sus frutos,
Y abrasará los fundamentos de los montes.
23 Yo amontonaré males sobre ellos;
Emplearé en ellos mis saetas.
24 Consumidos serán de hambre, y devorados de fiebre ardiente
Y de peste amarga;
Diente de fieras enviaré también sobre ellos,
Con veneno de serpientes de la tierra.
25 Por fuera desolará la espada,
Y dentro de las cámaras el espanto;
Así al joven como a la doncella,
Al niño de pecho como al hombre cano.
26 Yo había dicho que los esparciría lejos,
Que haría cesar de entre los hombres la memoria de ellos,
27 De no haber temido la provocación del enemigo,
No sea que se envanezcan sus adversarios,
No sea que digan: Nuestra mano poderosa
Ha hecho todo esto, y no Jehová.
28 Porque son nación privada de consejos,
Y no hay en ellos entendimiento.
29 ¡Ojalá fueran sabios, que comprendieran esto,
Y se dieran cuenta del fin que les espera!
30 ¿Cómo podría perseguir uno a mil,
Y dos hacer huir a diez mil,
Si su Roca no los hubiese vendido,
Y Jehová no los hubiera entregado?
31 Porque la roca de ellos no es como nuestra Roca,
Y aun nuestros enemigos son de ello jueces.
32 Porque de la vid de Sodoma es la vid de ellos,
Y de los campos de Gomorra;
Las uvas de ellos son uvas ponzoñosas,
Racimos muy amargos tienen.
33 Veneno de serpientes es su vino,
Y ponzoña cruel de áspides.
34 ¿No tengo yo esto guardado conmigo,
Sellado en mis tesoros?
35 Mía es la venganza(D) y la retribución;
A su tiempo su pie resbalará,
Porque el día de su aflicción está cercano,
Y lo que les está preparado se apresura.
36 Porque Jehová juzgará a su pueblo,
Y por amor de sus siervos se arrepentirá,
Cuando viere que la fuerza pereció,
Y que no queda ni siervo ni libre.
37 Y dirá: ¿Dónde están sus dioses,
La roca en que se refugiaban;
38 Que comían la grosura de sus sacrificios,
Y bebían el vino de sus libaciones?
Levántense, que os ayuden
Y os defiendan.
39 Ved ahora que yo, yo soy,
Y no hay dioses conmigo;
Yo hago morir, y yo hago vivir;
Yo hiero, y yo sano;
Y no hay quien pueda librar de mi mano.
40 Porque yo alzaré a los cielos mi mano,
Y diré: Vivo yo para siempre,
41 Si afilare mi reluciente espada,
Y echare mano del juicio,
Yo tomaré venganza de mis enemigos,
Y daré la retribución a los que me aborrecen.
42 Embriagaré de sangre mis saetas,
Y mi espada devorará carne;
En la sangre de los muertos y de los cautivos,
En las cabezas de larga cabellera del enemigo.
43 Alabad, naciones, a su pueblo,(E)
Porque él vengará la sangre de sus siervos,(F)
Y tomará venganza de sus enemigos,
Y hará expiación por la tierra de su pueblo.
44 Vino Moisés y recitó todas las palabras de este cántico a oídos del pueblo, él y Josué hijo de Nun. 45 Y acabó Moisés de recitar todas estas palabras a todo Israel; 46 y les dijo: Aplicad vuestro corazón a todas las palabras que yo os testifico hoy, para que las mandéis a vuestros hijos, a fin de que cuiden de cumplir todas las palabras de esta ley. 47 Porque no os es cosa vana; es vuestra vida, y por medio de esta ley haréis prolongar vuestros días sobre la tierra adonde vais, pasando el Jordán, para tomar posesión de ella.
Se le permite a Moisés contemplar la tierra de Canaán
48 Y habló Jehová a Moisés aquel mismo día, diciendo: 49 Sube a este monte de Abarim, al monte Nebo, situado en la tierra de Moab que está frente a Jericó, y mira la tierra de Canaán, que yo doy por heredad a los hijos de Israel; 50 y muere en el monte al cual subes, y sé unido a tu pueblo, así como murió Aarón tu hermano en el monte Hor, y fue unido a su pueblo; 51 por cuanto pecasteis contra mí en medio de los hijos de Israel en las aguas de Meriba de Cades, en el desierto de Zin; porque no me santificasteis en medio de los hijos de Israel. 52 Verás, por tanto, delante de ti la tierra; mas no entrarás allá, a la tierra que doy a los hijos de Israel.(G)

32 Listen,(A) you heavens,(B) and I will speak;
hear, you earth, the words of my mouth.(C)
2 Let my teaching fall like rain(D)
and my words descend like dew,(E)
like showers(F) on new grass,
like abundant rain on tender plants.
3 I will proclaim(G) the name of the Lord.(H)
Oh, praise the greatness(I) of our God!
4 He is the Rock,(J) his works are perfect,(K)
and all his ways are just.
A faithful God(L) who does no wrong,
upright(M) and just is he.(N)
5 They are corrupt and not his children;
to their shame they are a warped and crooked generation.(O)
6 Is this the way you repay(P) the Lord,
you foolish(Q) and unwise people?(R)
Is he not your Father,(S) your Creator,[a]
who made you and formed you?(T)
7 Remember the days of old;(U)
consider the generations long past.(V)
Ask your father and he will tell you,
your elders, and they will explain to you.(W)
8 When the Most High(X) gave the nations their inheritance,
when he divided all mankind,(Y)
he set up boundaries(Z) for the peoples
according to the number of the sons of Israel.[b](AA)
9 For the Lord’s portion(AB) is his people,
Jacob his allotted inheritance.(AC)
10 In a desert(AD) land he found him,
in a barren and howling waste.(AE)
He shielded(AF) him and cared for him;
he guarded him as the apple of his eye,(AG)
11 like an eagle that stirs up its nest
and hovers over its young,(AH)
that spreads its wings to catch them
and carries them aloft.(AI)
12 The Lord alone led(AJ) him;(AK)
no foreign god was with him.(AL)
13 He made him ride on the heights(AM) of the land
and fed him with the fruit of the fields.
He nourished him with honey from the rock,(AN)
and with oil(AO) from the flinty crag,
14 with curds and milk from herd and flock
and with fattened lambs and goats,
with choice rams of Bashan(AP)
and the finest kernels of wheat.(AQ)
You drank the foaming blood of the grape.(AR)
15 Jeshurun[c](AS) grew fat(AT) and kicked;
filled with food, they became heavy and sleek.
They abandoned(AU) the God who made them
and rejected the Rock(AV) their Savior.
16 They made him jealous(AW) with their foreign gods
and angered(AX) him with their detestable idols.
17 They sacrificed(AY) to false gods,(AZ) which are not God—
gods they had not known,(BA)
gods that recently appeared,(BB)
gods your ancestors did not fear.
18 You deserted the Rock, who fathered you;
you forgot(BC) the God who gave you birth.
19 The Lord saw this and rejected them(BD)
because he was angered by his sons and daughters.(BE)
20 “I will hide my face(BF) from them,” he said,
“and see what their end will be;
for they are a perverse generation,(BG)
children who are unfaithful.(BH)
21 They made me jealous(BI) by what is no god
and angered me with their worthless idols.(BJ)
I will make them envious by those who are not a people;
I will make them angry by a nation that has no understanding.(BK)
22 For a fire will be kindled by my wrath,(BL)
one that burns down to the realm of the dead below.(BM)
It will devour(BN) the earth and its harvests(BO)
and set afire the foundations of the mountains.(BP)
23 “I will heap calamities(BQ) on them
and spend my arrows(BR) against them.
24 I will send wasting famine(BS) against them,
consuming pestilence(BT) and deadly plague;(BU)
I will send against them the fangs of wild beasts,(BV)
the venom of vipers(BW) that glide in the dust.(BX)
25 In the street the sword will make them childless;
in their homes terror(BY) will reign.(BZ)
The young men and young women will perish,
the infants and those with gray hair.(CA)
26 I said I would scatter(CB) them
and erase their name from human memory,(CC)
27 but I dreaded the taunt of the enemy,
lest the adversary misunderstand(CD)
and say, ‘Our hand has triumphed;
the Lord has not done all this.’”(CE)
28 They are a nation without sense,
there is no discernment(CF) in them.
29 If only they were wise and would understand this(CG)
and discern what their end will be!(CH)
30 How could one man chase a thousand,
or two put ten thousand to flight,(CI)
unless their Rock had sold them,(CJ)
unless the Lord had given them up?(CK)
31 For their rock is not like our Rock,(CL)
as even our enemies concede.(CM)
32 Their vine comes from the vine of Sodom(CN)
and from the fields of Gomorrah.
Their grapes are filled with poison,(CO)
and their clusters with bitterness.(CP)
33 Their wine is the venom of serpents,
the deadly poison of cobras.(CQ)
34 “Have I not kept this in reserve
and sealed it in my vaults?(CR)
35 It is mine to avenge;(CS) I will repay.(CT)
In due time their foot will slip;(CU)
their day of disaster is near
and their doom rushes upon them.(CV)”
36 The Lord will vindicate his people(CW)
and relent(CX) concerning his servants(CY)
when he sees their strength is gone
and no one is left, slave(CZ) or free.[d]
37 He will say: “Now where are their gods,
the rock they took refuge in,(DA)
38 the gods who ate the fat of their sacrifices
and drank the wine of their drink offerings?(DB)
Let them rise up to help you!
Let them give you shelter!
39 “See now that I myself am he!(DC)
There is no god besides me.(DD)
I put to death(DE) and I bring to life,(DF)
I have wounded and I will heal,(DG)
and no one can deliver out of my hand.(DH)
40 I lift my hand(DI) to heaven and solemnly swear:
As surely as I live forever,(DJ)
41 when I sharpen my flashing sword(DK)
and my hand grasps it in judgment,
I will take vengeance(DL) on my adversaries
and repay those who hate me.(DM)
42 I will make my arrows drunk with blood,(DN)
while my sword devours flesh:(DO)
the blood of the slain and the captives,
the heads of the enemy leaders.”
43 Rejoice,(DP) you nations, with his people,[e][f]
for he will avenge the blood of his servants;(DQ)
he will take vengeance on his enemies(DR)
and make atonement for his land and people.(DS)
44 Moses came with Joshua[g](DT) son of Nun and spoke all the words of this song in the hearing of the people. 45 When Moses finished reciting all these words to all Israel, 46 he said to them, “Take to heart all the words I have solemnly declared to you this day,(DU) so that you may command(DV) your children to obey carefully all the words of this law. 47 They are not just idle words for you—they are your life.(DW) By them you will live long(DX) in the land you are crossing the Jordan to possess.”
Moses to Die on Mount Nebo
48 On that same day the Lord told Moses,(DY) 49 “Go up into the Abarim(DZ) Range to Mount Nebo(EA) in Moab, across from Jericho,(EB) and view Canaan,(EC) the land I am giving the Israelites as their own possession. 50 There on the mountain that you have climbed you will die(ED) and be gathered to your people, just as your brother Aaron died(EE) on Mount Hor(EF) and was gathered to his people. 51 This is because both of you broke faith with me in the presence of the Israelites at the waters of Meribah Kadesh(EG) in the Desert of Zin(EH) and because you did not uphold my holiness among the Israelites.(EI) 52 Therefore, you will see the land only from a distance;(EJ) you will not enter(EK) the land I am giving to the people of Israel.”
