耶和华的日子
4 “万军之耶和华说，‘那日要来临了，就像烧红的火炉，所有狂妄自大、作恶多端的人都要像碎秸一样被火烧尽，连根带枝，荡然无存。 2 但必有公义的太阳为你们这些敬畏我名的人升起，它的光芒有医治的能力。你们必像栏中出来的牛犊一样欢欣跳跃。 3 到我所定的日子，你们必践踏恶人，他们必成为你们脚下的尘土。’这是万军之耶和华说的。
4 “你们要记住我仆人摩西的律法，就是我在何烈山借着他传给以色列人的律例和典章。
5 “看啊，在耶和华那伟大而可畏的日子来临以前，我必差遣以利亚先知到你们那里。 6 他必使父亲的心转向儿女，儿女的心转向父亲，免得我来用咒诅毁灭这地方。”

Olunaku lwa Mukama
4 (A)“Kubanga, laba, olunaku lujja, lwokya ng’ekikoomi, n’ab’amalala bonna n’abo bonna abakola ebibi baliba bisasiro: ku lunaku lwennyini balyokerwa ddala,” bw’ayogera Mukama ow’Eggye, “obutabalekerawo mulandira newaakubadde ettabi. 2 (B)Naye mmwe abatya erinnya lyange, enjuba ey’obutuukirivu eribaviirayo ng’erina okuwonya mu biwaawaatiro byayo. Mulifuluma ne muligita ng’ennyana ez’omu kiraalo. 3 (C)Era mulirinnya ku babi, kubanga baliba vvu wansi w’ebigere byammwe, ku lunaku lwe ndibalokolerako,” bw’ayogera Mukama ow’Eggye.
4 (D)“Mujjukire okugonderanga amateeka ga Musa omuddu wange, ebiragiro n’amateeka bye namukwasa ku Kolebu olwa Isirayiri yenna.
5 (E)“Laba, ndibatumira nnabbi Eriya, olunaku lwa Mukama olukulu olw’entiisa nga terunnatuuka, 6 (F)era alikomyawo omutima gwa bazadde eri abaana baabwe, n’omutima gw’abaana eri bazadde baabwe; nneme okukolimira ensi.”
Malachi 4
Young's Literal Translation
4 For, lo, the day hath come, burning as a furnace, And all the proud, and every wicked doer, have been stubble, And burnt them hath the day that came, Said Jehovah of Hosts, That there is not left to them root or branch,
2 And risen to you, ye who fear My name, Hath the sun of righteousness -- and healing in its wings, And ye have gone forth, and have increased as calves of a stall.
3 And ye have trodden down the wicked, For they are ashes under the soles of your feet, In the day that I am appointing, Said Jehovah of Hosts.
4 Remember ye the law of Moses My servant, That I did command him in Horeb, For all Israel -- statutes and judgments.
5 Lo, I am sending to you Elijah the prophet, Before the coming of the day of Jehovah, The great and the fearful.
6 And he hath turned back the heart of fathers to sons, And the heart of sons to their fathers, Before I come and have utterly smitten the land!
