8 扫罗照着撒母耳所定的日期等了七日。撒母耳还没有来到吉甲，百姓也离开扫罗散去了。 9 扫罗说：“把燔祭和平安祭带到我这里来。”扫罗就献上燔祭。 10 刚献完燔祭，撒母耳就到了。扫罗出去迎接他，要问他好。

8 扫罗按着撒母耳所定的日期在吉甲等了七天，可是撒母耳还没有来。扫罗的军兵开始溜走。 9 于是，扫罗说：“你们把燔祭和平安祭带到我这里来”。他就献上了燔祭。 10 扫罗刚把燔祭献完，撒母耳就来了，扫罗出去迎接他，向他问安。

8 He waited seven(A) days, the time set by Samuel; but Samuel did not come to Gilgal, and Saul’s men began to scatter. 9 So he said, “Bring me the burnt offering and the fellowship offerings.” And Saul offered(B) up the burnt offering. 10 Just as he finished making the offering, Samuel(C) arrived, and Saul went out to greet(D) him.
