2 至於你，你應當講合乎純正的道理。 2 勸年老的男人要有節制、莊重、自律，在信心、愛心、忍耐上都要健全。 3 照樣，勸年老的婦女行為要敬虔，不說讒言，不被酒奴役，用善道教導人， 4 好提醒年輕的婦女愛丈夫愛兒女， 5 並且自律、貞潔、理家、善良、順從自己的丈夫，免得 神的道受毀謗。 6 照樣，勸年輕的男子要自律。 7 無論在甚麼事上你都要顯出好行為的榜樣，在教導上要純全，要莊重， 8 言詞要純正，無可指摘，使反對的人因為無從毀謗，就自覺慚愧。 9 作奴僕的，要凡事順服自己的主人，討他歡喜，不要頂嘴。 10 不要私取財物，卻要顯示絕對的誠實，好使我們救主 神的道理，在凡事上都得著尊榮。
11 神拯救萬人的恩典已經顯明出來了。 12 這恩典訓練我們除去不敬虔的心，和屬世的私慾，在今生過著自律、公正、敬虔的生活， 13 等候那有福的盼望，就是我們偉大的 神，救主耶穌基督榮耀的顯現。 14 他為我們捨己，為的是要救贖我們脫離一切不法的事，並且潔淨我們作他自己的子民，熱心善工。 15 你要傳講這些事，運用各樣的權柄去勸戒人，責備人；不要讓人輕看你。

健全的教训
2 至于你，你所讲的要与健全的教义相宜： 2 年长的男人要节制、庄重、自律，在信仰、爱心和忍耐上要健全； 3 同样，年长的妇女在举止行为上要合乎圣洁、不恶意控告、不成为酒的奴隶，要教导美好的事； 4 这样，她们可以训导年轻的妇女爱丈夫、爱儿女、 5 自律、贞洁、善理家务、良善、服从自己的丈夫，免得神的话语[a]受到亵渎。
6 同样，你要鼓励年轻的男人清醒自制； 7 你自己要在一切事上做出美好工作的榜样；教导的时候要正直[b]、庄重[c]， 8 要用无可指责的健全话语，使反对的人在我们[d]的事上因没有坏话可说，就感到羞愧。
9 奴仆要在一切事上服从自己的主人、讨主人喜悦，不可顶嘴、 10 不可私拿东西，反要显出所有美好的忠信，好在一切事上为神我们救主的教导增添光彩。

2 你的教導要符合純正的教義。 2 勸年長的男子要節制、莊重、自律，有全備的信心、愛心和耐心。 3 勸年長的婦女要過敬虔的生活，不說長道短，不做酒的奴隸，要以身作則。 4 這樣，她們就能教導年輕的婦女愛丈夫、愛兒女、 5 自制、貞潔，持家、和善、順服丈夫，免得上帝的道被人毀謗。
6 勸勉年輕的男子要自制。 7 你自己要在各樣的善行上作眾人的榜樣，在教導上要誠懇、認真、 8 言語純全、無可指責，讓那些反對的人無話可說、自覺羞愧。
9 勸勉作奴僕的要凡事順服主人，讓主人滿意，不頂撞主人， 10 不偷拿主人的東西，為人要忠信可靠，好凡事尊崇我們救主上帝的教導。

Titus 2
Worldwide English (New Testament)
2 But as for you, Titus, you must teach what is right.
2 Tell the older men that they must not drink too much wine. They must be men whom people respect. They must be wise. They must believe what is true. They must be loving and patient.
3 Tell the older women also that they must live like Christians. They must not tell lies about anyone. They must not drink much wine. They must teach what is good.
4 They must teach the young women to love their husbands and their children.
5 They must teach young women to have good sense, to live a clean life, to care for their homes, to be kind, and to obey their husbands. Then people cannot say wrong things about God's word.
6 Also tell the young men to have good sense.
7 Titus, show them what they should do in all matters by the good things you do. Do not mix your teaching with things that are not true. Teach in such a way that people will respect you.
8 Be sure that what you say is true, so that no one can say anything against it. Then anyone who is against us will be made ashamed because he can find nothing wrong to say about us.
9 Tell servants to obey their master in everything. Tell them to please them and not talk back to them.
10 They must not steal, but be very honest so the person they work for can trust them. In all things they must show that the teaching about God our Saviour is good.
11 God's loving kindness has come. It is through that blessing that all men are saved.
12 It teaches us to say no to the things that are not true of God, and to the things of this world. It teaches us to use good sense, to do what is right, and to please God while we live in this world.
13 All this is while we wait and hope to see the one who brings blessing. We are waiting for our great God to come in Jesus Christ. He is the One who will save us. He is wonderful!
14 Christ gave himself for us so that he might make us free from all that is wrong. He gave himself to make us into clean people who belong to him and want to do good.
15 Talk about these things. Tell people they must do them. And use all your power to stop people if they are doing wrong. Do not let anyone despise you.
