耶稣在真帐幕里做执事
8 我们所讲的事，其中第一要紧的，就是我们有这样的大祭司，已经坐在天上至大者的宝座右边， 2 在圣所，就是真帐幕里做执事。这帐幕是主所支的，不是人所支的。 3 凡大祭司都是为献礼物和祭物设立的，所以这位大祭司也必须有所献的。 4 他若在地上，必不得为祭司，因为已经有照律法献礼物的祭司。 5 他们供奉的事本是天上事的形状和影像，正如摩西将要造帐幕的时候，蒙神警戒他，说：“你要谨慎，做各样的物件都要照着在山上指示你的样式。”
做更美之约的中保
6 如今耶稣所得的职任是更美的，正如他做更美之约的中保。这约原是凭更美之应许立的。 7 那前约若没有瑕疵，就无处寻求后约了。 8 所以主指责他的百姓说[a]：“日子将到，我要与以色列家和犹大家另立新约， 9 不像我拉着他们祖宗的手，领他们出埃及的时候，与他们所立的约。因为他们不恒心守我的约，我也不理他们。这是主说的。”
神不再记念以色列家的罪愆
10 主又说：“那些日子以后，我与以色列家所立的约乃是这样：我要将我的律法放在他们里面，写在他们心上；我要做他们的神，他们要做我的子民。 11 他们不用各人教导自己的乡邻和自己的弟兄说：‘你该认识主’，因为他们从最小的到至大的，都必认识我。 12 我要宽恕他们的不义，不再记念他们的罪愆。” 13 既说新约，就以前约为旧了；但那渐旧渐衰的，就必快归无有了。

8 我们所讲论的重点，就是我们有这样的一位大祭司，他已经坐在众天之上至尊者的宝座右边， 2 在至圣所和真会幕里供职；这真会幕是主支搭的，不是人支搭的。 3 所有大祭司都是为了献礼物和祭品而设立的，所以这位大祭司，也必须有所献上的。 4 如果他在地上，就不会作祭司，因为已经有按照律法献礼物的祭司了。 5 这些祭司所供奉的职事，不过是天上的事物的副本和影像，就如摩西将要造会幕的时候， 神曾经警告他说：“你要留心，各样物件，都要照着在山上指示你的样式去作。” 6 但是现在耶稣得了更尊贵的职分，正好象他是更美的约的中保，这约是凭着更美的应许立的。 7 如果头一个约没有缺点，就没有寻求另一个约的必要了。 8 可是 神指责他们，说：
“看哪，主说，日子要到了，
我要与以色列家
和犹大家订立新约。
9 这新约不像从前我拉他们祖先的手，
领他们出埃及的日子与他们所立的约。
因为他们没有遵守我的约，
我就不理会他们。这是主说的。
10 主说：‘因为在那些日子以后，
我要与以色列家所立的约是这样：
我要把我的律法放在他们的心思里面，
写在他们的心上。
我要作他们的 神，
他们要作我的子民。
11 他们各人必不用教导自己的邻居，
和自己的同胞，说：
你要认识主。
因为所有的人，从最小到最大的，
都必认识我。
12 我也要宽恕他们的不义，
决不再记着他们的罪恶。’”
13 神既然说到新的约，就是把前约当作旧的了；那变成陈旧衰老的，就快要消逝了。

8 Ito(A) ang ibig naming sabihin: mayroon tayong ganyang Pinakapunong Pari, na nakaupo sa kanan ng trono ng Kataas-taasan. 2 Siya'y naglilingkod doon sa Dakong Banal, sa tunay na toldang itinayo ng Panginoon, at hindi ng tao.
3 Tungkulin ng bawat pinakapunong pari ang mag-alay ng mga kaloob at mga handog, kaya't kailangang ang ating Pinakapunong Pari ay mayroon ding ihahandog. 4 Kung siya ay nasa lupa, hindi siya maaaring maging pari, sapagkat mayroon nang mga paring naghahandog ng mga kaloob ayon sa Kautusan. 5 Ang(B) paglilingkod ng mga ito ay larawan lamang ng nasa langit, sapagkat nang itatayo na ni Moises ang tolda, mahigpit na ipinagbilin sa kanya ng Diyos ang ganito, “Tiyakin mo na gagawin mo ang lahat ayon sa huwarang ipinakita ko sa iyo sa bundok.” 6 Ngunit ang paglilingkod na ipinagkaloob kay Jesus ay higit na dakila kaysa ipinagkaloob sa kanila, dahil siya'y tagapamagitan ng isang tipan na higit na mabuti, sapagkat ang tipang ito ay nababatay sa mas maiinam na pangako.
7 Kung walang kakulangan ang unang tipan, hindi na sana nangailangan pa ng pangalawa. 8 Ngunit(C) nakita ng Diyos ang pagkukulang ng kanyang bayan, kaya't sinabi niya,
“Darating ang mga araw, sabi ng Panginoon,
na gagawa ako ng bagong tipan sa bayang Israel at sa bayang Juda.
9 Hindi ito magiging katulad ng tipang ginawa ko sa kanilang mga ninuno,
nang ilabas ko sila sa Egipto.
Sapagkat hindi sila naging tapat sa pakikipagtipan sa akin,
kaya't sila'y aking pinabayaan.
10 Ganito ang gagawin kong tipan sa bayan ng Israel
pagdating ng panahon, sabi ng Panginoon:
Itatanim ko sa kanilang pag-iisip ang aking mga utos;
isusulat ko ito sa kanilang puso.
Ako ang kanilang magiging Diyos,
at sila ang aking magiging bayan.
11 Hindi na kailangang turuan ang isa't isa at sabihing,
‘Kilalanin mo ang Panginoon.’
Sapagkat ako'y makikilala nilang lahat,
mula sa pinakaaba hanggang sa pinakadakila.
12 Sapagkat patatawarin ko ang kanilang mga kasalanan,
at kalilimutan ko na ang kanilang mga kasamaan.”
13 Nang sabihin ng Diyos ang tungkol sa bagong tipan, pinawalang-bisa na niya ang una. At anumang nawawalan ng bisa at naluluma ay malapit nang mawala.

The High Priest of a New Covenant
8 Now the main point of what we are saying is this: We do have such a high priest,(A) who sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven,(B) 2 and who serves in the sanctuary, the true tabernacle(C) set up by the Lord, not by a mere human being.
3 Every high priest(D) is appointed to offer both gifts and sacrifices,(E) and so it was necessary for this one also to have something to offer.(F) 4 If he were on earth, he would not be a priest, for there are already priests who offer the gifts prescribed by the law.(G) 5 They serve at a sanctuary that is a copy(H) and shadow(I) of what is in heaven. This is why Moses was warned(J) when he was about to build the tabernacle: “See to it that you make everything according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.”[a](K) 6 But in fact the ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant(L) of which he is mediator(M) is superior to the old one, since the new covenant is established on better promises.
7 For if there had been nothing wrong with that first covenant, no place would have been sought for another.(N) 8 But God found fault with the people and said[b]:
“The days are coming, declares the Lord,
when I will make a new covenant(O)
with the people of Israel
and with the people of Judah.
9 It will not be like the covenant
I made with their ancestors(P)
when I took them by the hand
to lead them out of Egypt,
because they did not remain faithful to my covenant,
and I turned away from them,
declares the Lord.
10 This is the covenant(Q) I will establish with the people of Israel
after that time, declares the Lord.
I will put my laws in their minds
and write them on their hearts.(R)
I will be their God,
and they will be my people.(S)
11 No longer will they teach their neighbor,
or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord,’
because they will all know me,(T)
from the least of them to the greatest.
12 For I will forgive their wickedness
and will remember their sins no more.(U)”[c](V)
13 By calling this covenant “new,”(W) he has made the first one obsolete;(X) and what is obsolete and outdated will soon disappear.
