12 Şi noi dar, fiindcă suntem înconjuraţi cu un nor aşa de mare de martori, să(A) dăm la o parte orice piedică şi păcatul care ne înfăşoară aşa de lesne şi să(B) alergăm cu stăruinţă(C) în alergarea care ne stă înainte. Să ne uităm ţintă la Căpetenia şi Desăvârşirea credinţei noastre, adică la Isus, care(D), pentru bucuria care-I era pusă înainte, a suferit crucea, a dispreţuit ruşinea şi şade(E) la dreapta scaunului de domnie al lui Dumnezeu. Uitaţi-vă dar(F) cu luare-aminte la Cel ce a suferit din partea păcătoşilor o împotrivire aşa de mare faţă de Sine, pentru ca(G) nu cumva să vă pierdeţi inima şi să cădeţi de oboseală în sufletele voastre. Voi nu v-aţi împotrivit încă(H) până la sânge în lupta împotriva păcatului. Şi aţi uitat sfatul pe care vi-l dă ca unor fii: „Fiule, nu(I) dispreţui pedeapsa Domnului şi nu-ţi pierde inima când eşti mustrat de El. Căci Domnul pedepseşte pe(J) cine-l iubeşte şi bate cu nuiaua pe orice fiu pe care-l primeşte.” Suferiţi(K) pedeapsa: Dumnezeu Se poartă cu voi ca şi cu nişte fii. Căci care este fiul pe care nu-l pedepseşte tatăl? Dar, dacă sunteţi scutiţi de pedeapsă, de care(L) toţi au parte, sunteţi nişte feciori din curvie, iar nu fii. Şi apoi, dacă părinţii noştri trupeşti ne-au pedepsit, şi tot le-am dat cinstea cuvenită, nu trebuie oare cu atât mai mult să ne supunem Tatălui(M) duhurilor şi să trăim? 10 Căci ei, în adevăr, ne pedepseau pentru puţine zile, cum credeau ei că e bine, dar Dumnezeu ne pedepseşte pentru binele nostru, ca(N) să ne facă părtaşi sfinţeniei Lui. 11 Este adevărat că orice pedeapsă, deocamdată pare o pricină de întristare, şi nu de bucurie, dar mai pe urmă aduce celor ce au trecut prin şcoala ei roada(O) dătătoare de pace a neprihănirii. 12 Întăriţi-vă(P) dar mâinile obosite şi genunchii slăbănogiţi; 13 croiţi(Q) cărări drepte cu picioarele voastre, pentru ca cel ce şchiopătează să nu se abată din cale, ci(R) mai degrabă să fie vindecat. 14 Urmăriţi(S) pacea cu toţi şi sfinţirea, fără(T) care nimeni nu va vedea pe Domnul. 15 Luaţi seama(U) bine ca(V) nimeni să nu se abată de la harul lui Dumnezeu, pentru ca(W) nu cumva să dea lăstari vreo rădăcină de amărăciune, să vă aducă tulburare şi mulţi să fie întinaţi de ea. 16 Vegheaţi să(X) nu fie între voi nimeni curvar sau lumesc ca Esau, care(Y) pentru o mâncare şi-a vândut dreptul de întâi născut. 17 Ştiţi că mai pe urmă, când a vrut(Z) să capete binecuvântarea, n-a(AA) fost primit, pentru că, măcar că o cerea cu lacrimi, n-a putut s-o schimbe. 18 Voi nu v-aţi apropiat de un munte(AB) care se putea atinge şi care era cuprins de foc, nici de negură, nici de întuneric, nici de furtună, 19 nici de sunetul de trâmbiţă, nici de glasul care vorbea în aşa fel că cei ce l-au auzit au cerut(AC) să nu li se mai vorbească, 20 (pentru că nu puteau suferi porunca aceasta: „Chiar(AD) un dobitoc, dacă se va atinge de munte, să fie ucis cu pietre sau străpuns cu săgeata”. 21 Şi(AE) priveliştea aceea era aşa de înfricoşătoare încât Moise a zis: „Sunt îngrozit şi tremur!”). 22 Ci v-aţi apropiat de(AF) Muntele Sionului, de(AG) cetatea Dumnezeului celui viu, Ierusalimul ceresc, de(AH) zecile de mii, de adunarea în sărbătoare a îngerilor, 23 de Biserica celor întâi născuţi(AI), care(AJ) sunt scrişi în ceruri, de Dumnezeu, Judecătorul(AK) tuturor, de duhurile celor neprihăniţi, făcuţi(AL) desăvârşiţi, 24 de Isus, Mijlocitorul(AM) legământului celui nou şi de sângele(AN) stropirii, care vorbeşte mai bine decât(AO) sângele lui Abel. 25 Luaţi seama ca nu cumva să nu voiţi să ascultaţi pe Cel ce vă vorbeşte! Căci dacă(AP) n-au scăpat cei ce n-au vrut să asculte pe Cel ce vorbea pe pământ, cu atât mai mult nu vom scăpa noi dacă ne întoarcem de la Cel ce vorbeşte din ceruri, 26 al(AQ) cărui glas a clătinat atunci pământul şi care acum a făcut făgăduinţa aceasta: „Voi mai clătina încă o dată(AR) nu numai pământul, ci şi cerul”. 27 Cuvintele acestea „încă o dată” arată că schimbarea(AS) lucrurilor clătinate, adică a lucrurilor făcute, este făcută tocmai ca să rămână lucrurile care nu se clatină. 28 Fiindcă am primit dar o împărăţie care nu se poate clătina, să ne arătăm mulţumitori şi să aducem astfel lui Dumnezeu o închinare plăcută, cu evlavie şi cu frică, 29 fiindcă Dumnezeul(AT) nostru este „un foc mistuitor”.

我们也应该学习耶稣的榜样

12 既然我们有这么多信仰的见证,它们就像云彩一样聚集在我们周围,那么,就让我们摆脱一切阻挡我们的障碍和罪恶对我们的纠缠,凭着毅力向前奋力地奔跑吧! 让我们把目光集中在耶稣身上,他是我们的信仰的先驱和完善者。他为了前方等待着他的欢乐,忍受了十字架上的痛苦,蔑视被钉死在十字架上的耻辱,如今他已经坐在了上帝宝座的右边。 你们想一想他吧,他忍受了来自罪人们的如此敌视,为的是使你们不要灰心丧气。。

上帝像一位父亲

你们在与罪恶做斗争的过程中,还没有到战死的关头, 却已经忘记了把你们当做儿子激励你们的话:

“我的儿子,不要轻视主的管教,
当他责难你时,不要灰心。
因为主管教他所爱的人,
他惩罚每一个他所接纳的儿子。” (A)

你们要像忍受管教那样忍受苦难,上帝正在像对待儿子一样地对待你们。世上哪一个父亲不管教自己的儿子呢? 如果你们不像孩子那样经历管教,你们就是私生子,就不是真正的儿子了。 况且,我们都有人间的父亲管教我们,我们为此而尊敬他们。那么,对于我们的灵之父,我们岂不是更该服从他,以便活下去? 10 人类的父亲用他们认为最合适的方式暂时管教我们,而上帝是为了我们的利益管教我们,使我们能够分享他的神圣。 11 在受管教的时候,总会令人不愉快,使人苦恼,然而过后,由于受到管教而得到锻炼的人却能够享受到正直的生活所带来的安宁。

谨慎地生活

12 抬起你们垂下的手,挺直你们软弱的膝盖吧! 13 在你们的脚下开出一条笔直的道路,使瘸子受到治愈,不再残疾。 14 尽力与所有的人合睦相处,努力争取过圣洁的生活。没有圣洁就不能看见主。 15 要谨慎,免得有人失去上帝的恩惠;要谨慎,不能让任何一株毒苗长大并祸害人。 16 要谨慎,不要让任何人在性行为上不道德,或像以扫那样不虔诚,为了一顿饭甚至出卖了长子的名份。 17 事后,你们知道,当他再想继承祝福时却受到了拒绝,即使他哭着请求,也不能使其父回心转意。

18 你们没有到过那座触摸的着的、焚烧着的山,也没有遇到过黑暗、阴沉和风暴。 19 你们还没有听到号声,或那个说话的声音。听到那个声音的人都乞求它不要再对他们说了, 20 因为他们都忍受不了那话里的命令:

“即使野兽触到此山,也要用石头砸死.” [a] 21 的确,这情景如此恐怖,就连摩西也说∶“我害怕得发抖.” [b]

22 但是,你们来到了锡安山,来到天上的耶路撒冷,即活生生的上帝的城市。你们来到了聚在一起的、成千上万的欢呼雀跃的天使当中, 23 来到了长子们的聚会中,他们的名字已被写在天上。你们已来到了审判众生的上帝的面前,来到了得到完美的义的众灵面前, 24 来到了新约的中介人耶稣面前,来到了喷洒的鲜血面前,这血所表达的事物优于亚伯的血所表达的事物。 25 你们要当心,不要拒绝讲话的他,如果他们在拒绝从地上警告他们的那位时不能逃脱,那么我们拒绝从天上警告我们的那位时岂不是更难逃脱吗! 26 那时,他的声音将震撼大地。现在,他许下了这个诺言:

“我不仅要再次振撼大地,还要振撼天。”

27 “再次”这个词表明,受振撼的东西既然是被创之物,它们都将被移开,以便让不受振撼的事物继续存在。

28 所以,我们将得到一个不可振撼的王国,让我们满怀感激之情吧,并由此带着敬畏,按照上帝所能接受的方式崇拜他, 29 因为我们的上帝是一团吞噬万物的烈火。

12 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run(A) with perseverance(B) the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus,(C) the pioneer(D) and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross,(E) scorning its shame,(F) and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.(G) Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary(H) and lose heart.

God Disciplines His Children

In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood.(I) And have you completely forgotten this word of encouragement that addresses you as a father addresses his son? It says,

“My son, do not make light of the Lord’s discipline,
    and do not lose heart(J) when he rebukes you,
because the Lord disciplines the one he loves,(K)
    and he chastens everyone he accepts as his son.”[a](L)

Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as his children.(M) For what children are not disciplined by their father? If you are not disciplined—and everyone undergoes discipline(N)—then you are not legitimate, not true sons and daughters at all. Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of spirits(O) and live!(P) 10 They disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, in order that we may share in his holiness.(Q) 11 No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace(R) for those who have been trained by it.

12 Therefore, strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees.(S) 13 “Make level paths for your feet,”[b](T) so that the lame may not be disabled, but rather healed.(U)

Warning and Encouragement

14 Make every effort to live in peace with everyone(V) and to be holy;(W) without holiness no one will see the Lord.(X) 15 See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God(Y) and that no bitter root(Z) grows up to cause trouble and defile many. 16 See that no one is sexually immoral,(AA) or is godless like Esau, who for a single meal sold his inheritance rights as the oldest son.(AB) 17 Afterward, as you know, when he wanted to inherit this blessing, he was rejected. Even though he sought the blessing with tears,(AC) he could not change what he had done.

The Mountain of Fear and the Mountain of Joy

18 You have not come to a mountain that can be touched and that is burning with fire; to darkness, gloom and storm;(AD) 19 to a trumpet blast(AE) or to such a voice speaking words(AF) that those who heard it begged that no further word be spoken to them,(AG) 20 because they could not bear what was commanded: “If even an animal touches the mountain, it must be stoned to death.”[c](AH) 21 The sight was so terrifying that Moses said, “I am trembling with fear.”[d](AI)

22 But you have come to Mount Zion,(AJ) to the city(AK) of the living God,(AL) the heavenly Jerusalem.(AM) You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, 23 to the church of the firstborn,(AN) whose names are written in heaven.(AO) You have come to God, the Judge of all,(AP) to the spirits of the righteous made perfect,(AQ) 24 to Jesus the mediator(AR) of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood(AS) that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.(AT)

25 See to it that you do not refuse(AU) him who speaks.(AV) If they did not escape when they refused him who warned(AW) them on earth, how much less will we, if we turn away from him who warns us from heaven?(AX) 26 At that time his voice shook the earth,(AY) but now he has promised, “Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.”[e](AZ) 27 The words “once more” indicate the removing of what can be shaken(BA)—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain.

28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken,(BB) let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe,(BC) 29 for our “God is a consuming fire.”[f](BD)

12 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.

And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:

For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?

But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?

10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.

11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

12 Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;

13 And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.

14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;

16 Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.

17 For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.

18 For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest,

19 And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more:

20 (For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart:

21 And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake:)

22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,

23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

25 See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:

26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.

27 And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

29 For our God is a consuming fire.
