3 (A)Тогава Соломон започна да строи Господния дом в Йерусалим на хълма Мория, където Господ се яви на баща му Давид, на мястото, което Давид беше приготвил на хармана на евусеца Орна.
2 Той започна да строи на втория ден от втория месец на четвъртата година от възцаряването си.

10 (E)В пресвятото място на дома направи два херувима, ваяна изработка, и ги обкова със злато.
11 А крилете на херувимите имаха заедно дължина двадесет лакътя; едното крило на единия херувим имаше пет лакътя и допираше стената на дома; и другото крило имаше пет лакътя и допираше крилото на другия херувим.
12 Така и едното крило на другия херувим имаше пет лакътя и допираше стената на дома; и другото крило имаше пет лакътя и допираше крилото на другия херувим.
13 Крилете на тези херувими се простираха на двадесет лакътя; и те стояха на краката си и лицата им гледаха навътре.
14 (F)И направи завесата от синьо, мораво, червено и висон и изработи по нея херувими.
15 (G)Направи пред дома и два стълба, тридесет и пет лакътя високи, с капител на върха на всеки от тях, пет лакътя висок.
16 (H)Направи и верижки, както в светилището, и ги сложи на върховете на стълбовете; и направи сто нара, които окачи на верижките.
17 (I)И изправи стълбовете пред храма – единия отдясно, а другия отляво; и нарече онзи, който беше отдясно, Яхин[a], а онзи, който беше отляво, Воаз[b].

3 所羅門在耶路撒冷的摩利亞山上動工興建耶和華的殿，殿址在耶布斯人阿珥楠的麥場，就是大衛指定的地方。耶和華曾在那裡向他父親大衛顯現。 2 所羅門在執政第四年二月二日動工建殿。 3 按照古時的尺度，他建造的上帝殿宇的地基長二十七米，寬九米。 4 殿前的門廊長九米，與殿的寬度一樣，高九米[a]，裡面都貼上純金。 5 大殿裡鑲上松木板，貼上純金，又刻上棕樹和鏈子。 6 所羅門用寶石和巴瓦音的純金裝飾殿。 7 殿的棟樑、牆壁、門檻和門扇也都貼上金子；牆上還刻上基路伯天使。
8 所羅門又動工建造至聖所，長九米，寬九米，與殿的寬度一樣，裡面共貼了二十一噸純金。 9 所用的金釘重六百克。樓房也都貼上了金子。 10 他又在至聖所製造兩個基路伯天使的翅膀，包上金子。 11-13 兩個基路伯天使的翅膀共九米長，每個翅膀長二點二五米。兩個基路伯天使面向大殿站立，他們展開的翅膀共九米長，各有一個翅膀觸到殿牆，一個翅膀互相連接。 14 他用藍色、紫色和朱紅色的線以及細麻織成幔子，並在上面繡上基路伯天使。

Solomon Builds the Temple(A)
3 Then Solomon began to build(B) the temple of the Lord(C) in Jerusalem on Mount Moriah, where the Lord had appeared to his father David. It was on the threshing floor of Araunah[a](D) the Jebusite, the place provided by David. 2 He began building on the second day of the second month in the fourth year of his reign.(E)
3 The foundation Solomon laid for building the temple of God was sixty cubits long and twenty cubits wide[b](F) (using the cubit of the old standard). 4 The portico at the front of the temple was twenty cubits[c] long across the width of the building and twenty[d] cubits high.
He overlaid the inside with pure gold. 5 He paneled the main hall with juniper and covered it with fine gold and decorated it with palm tree(G) and chain designs. 6 He adorned the temple with precious stones. And the gold he used was gold of Parvaim. 7 He overlaid the ceiling beams, doorframes, walls and doors of the temple with gold, and he carved cherubim(H) on the walls.
8 He built the Most Holy Place,(I) its length corresponding to the width of the temple—twenty cubits long and twenty cubits wide. He overlaid the inside with six hundred talents[e] of fine gold. 9 The gold nails(J) weighed fifty shekels.[f] He also overlaid the upper parts with gold.
10 For the Most Holy Place he made a pair(K) of sculptured cherubim and overlaid them with gold. 11 The total wingspan of the cherubim was twenty cubits. One wing of the first cherub was five cubits[g] long and touched the temple wall, while its other wing, also five cubits long, touched the wing of the other cherub. 12 Similarly one wing of the second cherub was five cubits long and touched the other temple wall, and its other wing, also five cubits long, touched the wing of the first cherub. 13 The wings of these cherubim(L) extended twenty cubits. They stood on their feet, facing the main hall.[h]
14 He made the curtain(M) of blue, purple and crimson yarn and fine linen, with cherubim(N) worked into it.
15 For the front of the temple he made two pillars,(O) which together were thirty-five cubits[i] long, each with a capital(P) five cubits high. 16 He made interwoven chains[j](Q) and put them on top of the pillars. He also made a hundred pomegranates(R) and attached them to the chains. 17 He erected the pillars in the front of the temple, one to the south and one to the north. The one to the south he named Jakin[k] and the one to the north Boaz.[l]

3 ついに神殿の建設が始まりました。敷地はエルサレムのモリヤ山上で、ここは、かつて主がソロモンの父ダビデに姿を現したエブス人オルナンの打ち場があった所です。ダビデはかねて、そこを神殿の建設予定地にしていました。 2 工事が始まったのは、ソロモン王の治世第四年、第二の月の二日でした。
3 まず神殿の土台は、長さ六十キュビト（約二・六メートル）、幅二十キュビト（八・八メートル）。 4 屋根つきの玄関は、神殿の幅と同じ二十キュビトの長さで、内側の壁と天井には純金を張りつめました。屋根の高さは百二十キュビト（約五・三メートル）。 5 神殿の主要部は糸杉で覆い、純金を張りつめ、なつめやしの木と鎖を彫刻しました。 6 壁の内側はより美しさを増すために、宝石で飾りました。ここで用いた金はパルワイム産の最上のものです。 7 神殿内は、壁も、梁も、扉も、敷居も金を張りつめ、壁にはケルビム（天使を象徴する像）を刻みました。
8 神殿の奥に、二十キュビト四方の至聖所（神の箱を安置する部屋）がありました。ここにも、六百タラント（二十・四トン）の金を張りつめました。 9 五十シェケル（五百七十五グラム）の金の釘を使い、階上の部屋も金を張りました。
10 一番奥の至聖所に、王はケルビムを二つすえ、それにも金をかぶせました。 11-13 この像は床の上に立ち、顔を部屋の外に向け、一方の壁からもう一方の壁まで翼をいっぱいに広げていました。 14 王はまた、至聖所の入口に、ケルビムの縫い取り模様のある青と紅の亜麻布製の幕をかけました。

3 Then Solomon began to build the house of the Lord at Jerusalem in mount Moriah, where the Lord appeared unto David his father, in the place that David had prepared in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.
2 And he began to build in the second day of the second month, in the fourth year of his reign.
3 Now these are the things wherein Solomon was instructed for the building of the house of God. The length by cubits after the first measure was threescore cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits.
4 And the porch that was in the front of the house, the length of it was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the height was an hundred and twenty: and he overlaid it within with pure gold.
5 And the greater house he cieled with fir tree, which he overlaid with fine gold, and set thereon palm trees and chains.
6 And he garnished the house with precious stones for beauty: and the gold was gold of Parvaim.
7 He overlaid also the house, the beams, the posts, and the walls thereof, and the doors thereof, with gold; and graved cherubims on the walls.
8 And he made the most holy house, the length whereof was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof twenty cubits: and he overlaid it with fine gold, amounting to six hundred talents.
9 And the weight of the nails was fifty shekels of gold. And he overlaid the upper chambers with gold.
10 And in the most holy house he made two cherubims of image work, and overlaid them with gold.
11 And the wings of the cherubims were twenty cubits long: one wing of the one cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing was likewise five cubits, reaching to the wing of the other cherub.
12 And one wing of the other cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing was five cubits also, joining to the wing of the other cherub.
13 The wings of these cherubims spread themselves forth twenty cubits: and they stood on their feet, and their faces were inward.
14 And he made the vail of blue, and purple, and crimson, and fine linen, and wrought cherubims thereon.
15 Also he made before the house two pillars of thirty and five cubits high, and the chapiter that was on the top of each of them was five cubits.
16 And he made chains, as in the oracle, and put them on the heads of the pillars; and made an hundred pomegranates, and put them on the chains.
17 And he reared up the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left; and called the name of that on the right hand Jachin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.
