The Family History of King Saul
8 Benjamin was the father of Bela, his first son. Ashbel was his second son, Aharah was his third, 2 Nohah was his fourth, and Rapha was his fifth son.
3 Bela’s sons were Addar, Gera, Abihud, 4 Abishua, Naaman, Ahoah, 5 Gera, Shephuphan, and Huram.
6 These were the descendants of Ehud and leaders of their families in Geba. They were forced to move to Manahath. 7 Ehud’s descendants were Naaman, Ahijah, and Gera. Gera forced them to leave. He was the father of Uzza and Ahihud.
8-11 Shaharaim and his wife Hushim had sons named Abitub and Elpaal. In Moab, Shaharaim divorced his wives Hushim and Baara. Shaharaim and his wife Hodesh had these sons: Jobab, Zibia, Mesha, Malcam, Jeuz, Sakia, and Mirmah. They were leaders of their families.
12-13 Elpaal’s sons were Eber, Misham, Shemed, Beriah, and Shema. Shemed built the towns of Ono and Lod and the villages around them. Beriah and Shema were leaders of the families living in Aijalon, and they forced out the people who lived in Gath.
14 Beriah’s sons were Ahio, Shashak, Jeremoth, 15 Zebadiah, Arad, Eder, 16 Michael, Ishpah, and Joha.
17 Elpaal’s sons were Zebadiah, Meshullam, Hizki, Heber, 18 Ishmerai, Izliah, and Jobab.
19 Shimei’s sons were Jakim, Zicri, Zabdi, 20 Elienai, Zillethai, Eliel, 21 Adaiah, Beraiah, and Shimrath.
22 Shashak’s sons were Ishpan, Eber, Eliel, 23 Abdon, Zicri, Hanan, 24 Hananiah, Elam, Anthothijah, 25 Iphdeiah, and Penuel.
26 Jeroham’s sons were Shamsherai, Shehariah, Athaliah, 27 Jaareshiah, Elijah, and Zicri.
28 The family histories show that all these men were leaders of their families and lived in Jerusalem.
29 Jeiel lived in the town of Gibeon, where he was the leader. His wife was named Maacah. 30 Jeiel’s first son was Abdon. His other sons were Zur, Kish, Baal, Ner, Nadab, 31 Gedor, Ahio, Zeker, 32 and Mikloth. Mikloth was the father of Shimeah. These sons also lived near their relatives in Jerusalem.
33 Ner was the father of Kish. Kish was the father of Saul, and Saul was the father of Jonathan, Malki-Shua, Abinadab, and Esh-Baal.
34 Jonathan’s son was Merib-Baal, who was the father of Micah.
35 Micah’s sons were Pithon, Melech, Tarea, and Ahaz. 36 Ahaz was the father of Jehoaddah. Jehoaddah was the father of Alemeth, Azmaveth, and Zimri. Zimri was the father of Moza. 37 Moza was the father of Binea. Raphah was Binea’s son. Eleasah was Raphah’s son, and Azel was Eleasah’s son.
38 Azel had six sons: Azrikam, Bokeru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah, and Hanan. All these were Azel’s sons.
39 Azel’s brother was Eshek. Eshek’s first son was Ulam, his second was Jeush, and Eliphelet was his third. 40 Ulam’s sons were mighty warriors and good archers. They had many sons and grandsons—one hundred fifty of them in all.
All these men were Benjamin’s descendants.

Los descendientes de Benjamín
8 Benjamín fue el padre de Bela, su primogénito. Su segundo hijo fue Asbel, Ajará fue el tercero, 2 Nojá fue el cuarto, y Rafa fue el quinto.
3 Los hijos de Bela fueron Adar, Gera, Abiud, 4 Abisúa, Namán, Ajoa, 5 Gera, Sefufán e Jirán.
6 Éstos son los hijos de Aod, jefes de casas paternas que habitaron en Geba y fueron llevados a Manajat: 7 Namán, Ajías y Gera, que fue quien los llevó. Gera fue el padre de Uzá y Ajiud.
8 Sajarayin tuvo hijos en la provincia de Moab, después de haber dejado a sus mujeres Jusín y Bará. 9 Con su mujer Hodes tuvo a Jobab, Sibiá, Mesa, Malcán, 10 Jeúz, Saquías y Mirma. Éstos fueron sus hijos, jefes de familias. 11 Con su mujer Jusín tuvo a Abitob y Elpaal.
12 Los descendientes de Elpaal fueron Éber, Misán y Semed (el cual edificó Onó y Lod con sus aldeas), 13 además de Beria y Semá, que fueron jefes de las familias de los habitantes de Ayalón, los cuales desalojaron a los habitantes de Gat, 14 más Ajió, Sasac, Jeremot, 15 Zebadías, Arad, Ader, 16 Micael, Ispa y Joha, hijos de Beria, 17 y también Zebadías, Mesulán, Jizquí, Éber, 18 Ismeray, Izlías y Jobab, hijos de Elpaal; 19 y Yaquín, Zicri, Zabdi, 20 Elienay, Siletay, Eliel, 21 Adaías, Beraías y Simerat, hijos de Simey; 22 también Ispán, Éber, Eliel, 23 Abdón, Zicri, Janán, 24 Jananías, Elam, Anatotías, 25 Ifdaías y Peniel, hijos de Sasac; 26 Samseray, Seharías, Atalías, 27 Jaresías, Elías y Zicri, hijos de Jeroán. 28 Éstos fueron jefes principales de familias por sus linajes, y habitaron en Jerusalén.
29 En Gabaón habitaron Abigabaón y su mujer, la cual se llamaba Macá, 30 su hijo primogénito Abdón, y Sur, Cis, Baal, Nadab, 31 Gedor, Ajió y Zequer.
32 Miclot fue el padre de Simea. Éstos también habitaron en Jerusalén, enfrente de sus hermanos.
33 Ner fue el padre de Cis, Cis fue el padre de Saúl, y Saúl fue el padre de Jonatán, Malquisúa, Abinadab y Esbaal.
34 Meribaal fue hijo de Jonatán y padre de Micaía.
35 Los hijos de Micaía fueron Pitón, Melec, Tarea y Ajaz.
36 Ajaz fue el padre de Yoadá.
Yoadá fue el padre de Alemet, Azmavet y Zimri.
Zimri fue el padre de Mosá.
37 Mosá fue el padre de Bina, cuyo hijo Rafa, cuyo hijo fue Elasa, cuyo hijo fue Azel.
38 Todos los hijos de Azel fueron seis, y sus nombres fueron Azricán, Bocru, Ismael, Searías, Abdías y Janán.
39 Los hijos de Esec, su hermano, fueron Ulán, su primogénito, Jeús el segundo, y Elifelet el tercero.
40 Los hijos de Ulán eran hombres aguerridos y flechadores diestros, y tuvieron muchos hijos y nietos, en total ciento cincuenta. Todos ellos fueron descendientes de Benjamín.
