洪水消退
8 上帝眷顧挪亞及方舟裡的野獸和牲畜，使風吹在大地上，水便開始消退。 2 深淵的泉源和天上的水閘都關閉了，大雨也停了。 3 地上的洪水慢慢消退，過了一百五十天，水退下去了。 4 七月十七日，方舟停在亞拉臘山上。 5 水繼續消退，到十月一日，山頂都露出來了。
6 又過了四十天，挪亞打開方舟的窗戶， 7 放出一隻烏鴉。牠一直在空中飛來飛去，直到地上的水都乾了。 8 後來，挪亞放出一隻鴿子，以便瞭解地面的水是否已經消退。 9 但遍地都是水，鴿子找不到歇腳的地方，就飛回了方舟，挪亞伸手把鴿子接進方舟裡。 10 過了七天，挪亞再把鴿子放出去。 11 到了黃昏，鴿子飛回來，嘴裡啣著一片新擰下來的橄欖葉，挪亞便知道地上的水已經退了。 12 等了七天，他又放出鴿子，這一次，鴿子沒有回來。
13 挪亞六百零一歲那年的一月一日，地上的水乾了。挪亞打開方舟的蓋觀望，看見地面都乾了。 14 到了二月二十七日，大地完全乾了。 15 上帝對挪亞說： 16 「你與妻子、兒子和兒媳可以出方舟了。 17 你要把方舟裡的飛禽走獸及爬蟲等所有動物都帶出來，讓牠們在地上多多繁殖。」 18 於是，挪亞與妻子、兒子和兒媳都出了方舟。 19 方舟裡的飛禽走獸和爬蟲等所有地上的動物，都按種類出了方舟。
挪亞獻祭
20 挪亞為耶和華築了一座壇，在上面焚燒各種潔淨的牲畜和飛鳥作為燔祭。 21 耶和華聞到這燔祭的馨香，心想：「雖然人從小就心存惡念，但我再不會因為人的緣故而咒詛大地，再不會毀滅一切生靈。 22 只要大地尚存，播種收割、夏熱冬寒、白晝黑夜必永不停息。」

8 A Duw a gofiodd Noa, a phob peth byw, a phob anifail a’r a oedd gydag ef yn yr arch: a Duw a wnaeth i wynt dramwy ar y ddaear, a’r dyfroedd a lonyddasant. 2 Caewyd hefyd ffynhonnau’r dyfnder a ffenestri’r nefoedd; a lluddiwyd y glaw o’r nefoedd. 3 A’r dyfroedd a ddychwelasant oddi ar y ddaear, gan fyned a dychwelyd: ac ymhen y deng niwrnod a deugain a chant, y dyfroedd a dreiasai.
4 Ac yn y seithfed mis, ar yr ail ddydd ar bymtheg o’r mis, y gorffwysodd yr arch ar fynyddoedd Ararat. 5 A’r dyfroedd fuant yn myned ac yn treio, hyd y degfed mis: yn y degfed mis, ar y dydd cyntaf o’r mis, y gwelwyd pennau’r mynyddoedd.
6 Ac ymhen deugain niwrnod yr agorodd Noa ffenestr yr arch a wnaethai efe. 7 Ac efe a anfonodd allan gigfran; a hi a aeth, gan fyned allan a dychwelyd, hyd oni sychodd y dyfroedd oddi ar y ddaear. 8 Ac efe a anfonodd golomen oddi wrtho, i weled a dreiasai’r dyfroedd oddi ar wyneb y ddaear. 9 Ac ni chafodd y golomen orffwysfa i wadn ei throed; a hi a ddychwelodd ato ef i’r arch, am fod y dyfroedd ar wyneb yr holl dir: ac efe a estynnodd ei law, ac a’i cymerodd hi, ac a’i derbyniodd hi ato i’r arch. 10 Ac efe a arhosodd eto saith niwrnod eraill, ac a anfonodd eilwaith y golomen allan o’r arch. 11 A’r golomen a ddaeth ato ef ar brynhawn; ac wele ddeilen olewydden yn ei gylfin hi, wedi ei thynnu: yna y gwybu Noa dreio o’r dyfroedd oddi ar y ddaear. 12 Ac efe a arhosodd eto saith niwrnod eraill, ac a anfonodd y golomen; ac ni ddychwelodd hi eilwaith ato ef mwy.
13 Ac yn yr unfed flwyddyn a chwe chant, yn y mis cyntaf, ar y dydd cyntaf o’r mis, y darfu i’r dyfroedd sychu oddi ar y tir: a Noa a symudodd gaead yr arch, ac a edrychodd, ac wele, sychasai wyneb y ddaear. 14 Ac yn yr ail fis, ar y seithfed dydd ar hugain o’r mis, y ddaear a sychasai.
15 A llefarodd Duw wrth Noa, gan ddywedyd, 16 Dos allan o’r arch, ti, a’th wraig, a’th feibion, a gwragedd dy feibion, gyda thi. 17 Pob peth byw a’r sydd gyda thi, o bob cnawd, yn adar, ac yn anifeiliaid, ac yn bob ymlusgiad a ymlusgo ar y ddaear, a ddygi allan gyda thi: epiliant hwythau yn y ddaear, a ffrwythant ac amlhânt ar y ddaear. 18 A Noa a aeth allan, a’i feibion, a’i wraig, a gwragedd ei feibion, gydag ef. 19 Pob bwystfil, pob ymlusgiad, a phob ehediad, pob peth a ymlusgai ar y ddaear, wrth eu rhywogaethau, a ddaethant allan o’r arch.
20 A Noa a adeiladodd allor i’r Arglwydd, ac a gymerodd o bob anifail glân, ac o bob ehediad glân, ac a offrymodd boethoffrymau ar yr allor. 21 A’r Arglwydd a aroglodd arogl esmwyth; a dywedodd yr Arglwydd yn ei galon, Ni chwanegaf felltithio’r ddaear mwy er mwyn dyn: oherwydd bod bryd calon dyn yn ddrwg o’i ieuenctid: ac ni chwanegaf mwy daro pob peth byw, fel y gwneuthum. 22 Pryd hau, a chynhaeaf, ac oerni, a gwres, a haf, a gaeaf, a dydd, a nos, ni phaid mwy holl ddyddiau y ddaear.

8 Entonces Dios(A) se acordó de Noé y de todas las bestias y de todo el ganado que estaban con él en el arca. Y Dios hizo pasar un viento sobre la tierra y decrecieron las aguas(B). 2 Las fuentes del abismo y las compuertas[a] del cielo(C) se cerraron, y se detuvo la lluvia(D) del cielo. 3 Las aguas bajaron[b] gradualmente de sobre la tierra, y después de 150 días(E), las aguas habían disminuido.
4 Y en el día diecisiete del mes séptimo, el arca descansó sobre los montes(F) de Ararat. 5 Las aguas fueron decreciendo lentamente hasta el mes décimo; y el día primero del mes décimo, se vieron las cimas de los montes.
6 Después de cuarenta días, Noé abrió la ventana del arca(G) que él había hecho, 7 y envió un cuervo, que estuvo yendo y viniendo[c] hasta ver que se secaran las aguas sobre[d] la tierra. 8 Después envió[e] una paloma para ver si las aguas habían disminuido sobre la superficie[f] de la tierra. 9 Pero la paloma no encontró lugar donde posarse[g], de modo que volvió a él, al arca, porque las aguas estaban sobre la superficie[h] de toda la tierra. Entonces Noé extendió la mano, la tomó y la metió consigo en el arca.
10 Esperó aún otros siete días, y volvió a enviar la paloma desde el arca. 11 Hacia el[i] atardecer la paloma regresó[j] a él, trayendo en su pico[k] una hoja de olivo recién arrancada. Entonces Noé comprendió que las aguas habían disminuido sobre la tierra. 12 Esperó aún otros siete días y envió de nuevo la paloma(H), pero ya no volvió más a él.
Noé sale del arca
13 Y aconteció que en el año 601 de Noé(I), en el mes primero, el día primero del mes, se secaron las aguas sobre la tierra. Entonces Noé quitó la cubierta del arca y vio que la superficie[l] de la tierra estaba seca. 14 En el mes segundo, el día veintisiete del mes, la tierra estaba seca. 15 Entonces dijo Dios a Noé: 16 «Sal del arca tú, y contigo tu mujer, tus hijos y las mujeres de tus hijos. 17 Saca contigo todo ser viviente de toda carne que está contigo: aves, ganados y todo reptil que se arrastra sobre la tierra, para que se reproduzcan en abundancia[m] sobre la tierra, y sean fecundos y se multipliquen sobre la tierra(J)».
18 Salió, pues, Noé, y con él sus hijos y su mujer y las mujeres de sus hijos. 19 También salieron del arca todas las bestias, todos los reptiles, todas las aves y todo lo que se mueve sobre la tierra, cada uno según su especie.
20 Entonces Noé edificó un altar al Señor(K), y tomó de todo animal limpio y de toda ave limpia(L), y ofreció holocaustos(M) en el altar. 21 El Señor percibió el aroma agradable(N), y dijo el Señor para sí[n]: «Nunca más volveré a maldecir la tierra por causa del hombre(O), porque la intención[o] del corazón del hombre es mala(P) desde su juventud. Nunca más volveré a destruir[p] todo ser viviente(Q) como lo he hecho.
22 Mientras la tierra permanezca,
La siembra y la siega,
El frío y el calor,
El verano y el invierno(R),
El día y la noche(S),
Nunca cesarán».

8 But God remembered(A) Noah and all the wild animals and the livestock that were with him in the ark, and he sent a wind over the earth,(B) and the waters receded. 2 Now the springs of the deep and the floodgates of the heavens(C) had been closed, and the rain(D) had stopped falling from the sky. 3 The water receded steadily from the earth. At the end of the hundred and fifty days(E) the water had gone down, 4 and on the seventeenth day of the seventh month(F) the ark came to rest on the mountains(G) of Ararat.(H) 5 The waters continued to recede until the tenth month, and on the first day of the tenth month the tops of the mountains became visible.
6 After forty days(I) Noah opened a window he had made in the ark 7 and sent out a raven,(J) and it kept flying back and forth until the water had dried up from the earth.(K) 8 Then he sent out a dove(L) to see if the water had receded from the surface of the ground. 9 But the dove could find nowhere to perch because there was water over all the surface of the earth; so it returned to Noah in the ark. He reached out his hand and took the dove and brought it back to himself in the ark. 10 He waited seven more days and again sent out the dove from the ark. 11 When the dove returned to him in the evening, there in its beak was a freshly plucked olive leaf! Then Noah knew that the water had receded from the earth.(M) 12 He waited seven more days and sent the dove out again, but this time it did not return to him.
13 By the first day of the first month of Noah’s six hundred and first year,(N) the water had dried up from the earth. Noah then removed the covering from the ark and saw that the surface of the ground was dry. 14 By the twenty-seventh day of the second month(O) the earth was completely dry.
15 Then God said to Noah, 16 “Come out of the ark, you and your wife and your sons and their wives.(P) 17 Bring out every kind of living creature that is with you—the birds, the animals, and all the creatures that move along the ground—so they can multiply on the earth and be fruitful and increase in number on it.”(Q)
18 So Noah came out, together with his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives.(R) 19 All the animals and all the creatures that move along the ground and all the birds—everything that moves on land—came out of the ark, one kind after another.
20 Then Noah built an altar to the Lord(S) and, taking some of all the clean animals and clean(T) birds, he sacrificed burnt offerings(U) on it. 21 The Lord smelled the pleasing aroma(V) and said in his heart: “Never again will I curse the ground(W) because of humans, even though[a] every inclination of the human heart is evil from childhood.(X) And never again will I destroy(Y) all living creatures,(Z) as I have done.

5 And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month: in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, were the tops of the mountains seen.
6 And it came to pass at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made:
7 And he sent forth a raven, which went forth to and fro, until the waters were dried up from off the earth.
8 Also he sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters were abated from off the face of the ground;
9 But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him into the ark, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth: then he put forth his hand, and took her, and pulled her in unto him into the ark.
10 And he stayed yet other seven days; and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark;
11 And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf pluckt off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth.
12 And he stayed yet other seven days; and sent forth the dove; which returned not again unto him any more.
13 And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry.
14 And in the second month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, was the earth dried.
15 And God spake unto Noah, saying,
16 Go forth of the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons' wives with thee.
17 Bring forth with thee every living thing that is with thee, of all flesh, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth; that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth.
18 And Noah went forth, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him:
19 Every beast, every creeping thing, and every fowl, and whatsoever creepeth upon the earth, after their kinds, went forth out of the ark.
20 And Noah builded an altar unto the Lord; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.
21 And the Lord smelled a sweet savour; and the Lord said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.
22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
