禁止淫亂的條例
18 耶和華對摩西說： 2 「你把以下條例告訴以色列人。
「我是你們的上帝耶和華。 3 你們曾經住在埃及，但不可效法埃及人的行為。我要把你們帶到迦南，但你們不可效法迦南人的行為，不可隨從他們的風俗。 4 你們必須遵行我的典章，持守我的律例。我是你們的上帝耶和華。 5 你們要遵守我的典章和律例。遵行的人必存活。我是耶和華。
6 「你們任何人不可與近親亂倫。我是耶和華。 7 不可與你母親亂倫而羞辱你父親。她是你的母親，不可與她亂倫。 8 不可與你父親的妻妾亂倫，那會羞辱你的父親。 9 不可與你的姊妹亂倫。不論是同父異母的，還是同母異父的，成長在同一家庭，還是不同家庭，都不可與她亂倫。 10 不可與孫女或外孫女亂倫，那會自取羞辱。 11 不可與你父親妻妾的女兒亂倫。她是你的姊妹，不可與她亂倫。 12 不可與姑母亂倫，她是你父親的親人。 13 不可與姨母亂倫，她是你母親的親人。 14 不可與伯母或嬸母亂倫而羞辱你伯父或叔父。 15 不可與兒媳亂倫。她是你兒子的妻子，不可與她亂倫。 16 不可與兄嫂或弟媳亂倫，她是你兄弟的妻子。
17 「不可與一個女人性交，又與她女兒性交，也不可與她孫女或外孫女性交。她們是她的近親。這都是邪惡行為。 18 妻子還在世時，不可娶她的姊妹，與她的姊妹性交，使她們彼此作對。 19 女人在月經期間不潔淨，不可與她性交。 20 不可與鄰居的妻子性交，那會玷污自己。 21 不可把兒女當作祭物獻給假神摩洛，不可褻瀆你上帝的名。我是耶和華。 22 男人不可與男人性交，像和女人一樣，這是可憎的。 23 不可與獸類交合，玷污自己。女人也不可與獸類交合。這是變態行為。
24 「你們不可做這些事玷污自己。因為我要在你們面前趕走的各國正是因為這些行為而玷污了自己。 25 他們居住的土地也都被玷污了，所以我因他們的罪惡而懲罰那片土地，我要使那片土地吐出他們。 26 你們必須遵守我的律例和典章。不論你們還是寄居在你們中間的外族人，都不可做這些可憎之事。 27 因為在你們之前居住在那裡的人做了這些可憎之事，玷污了那片土地。 28 如果你們玷污了那片土地，它也會像吐出從前的居民一樣把你們吐出去。 29 凡做這些可憎之事的，要將他從民中剷除。 30 你們要遵守我的命令，不要效法那片土地上居民的惡俗，以致玷污自己。我是你們的上帝耶和華。」

Rules About Physical Relations
18 The Lord said to Moses, 2 “Tell the people of Israel: ‘I am the Lord your God. 3 In the past you lived in Egypt. You must not do what was done in that country. And you must not do as they do in the land of Canaan where I am bringing you. Do not follow their customs. 4 You must obey my rules and follow them. I am the Lord your God. 5 Obey my laws and rules. A person who obeys my laws and rules will live because of them. I am the Lord.
6 “‘You must never have physical relations with your close relatives. I am the Lord.
7 “‘You must not shame your father by having physical relations with your mother. She is your mother. Do not have physical relations with her. 8 You must not have physical relations with your father’s wife. That would shame your father.
9 “‘You must not have physical relations with your sister. She may be the daughter of your father or your mother. It doesn’t matter if she was born in your house or somewhere else.
10 “‘You must not have physical relations with your granddaughter. She may be your son’s daughter or your daughter’s daughter. That would bring shame on you.
11 “‘If your father and his wife have a daughter, she is your sister. You must not have physical relations with her.
12 “‘You must not have physical relations with your father’s sister. She is your father’s close relative. 13 You must not have physical relations with your mother’s sister. She is your mother’s close relative. 14 You must not have physical relations with the wife of your father’s brother. This would shame him. His wife is your aunt.
15 “‘You must not have physical relations with your daughter-in-law. She is your son’s wife. Do not have physical relations with her.
16 “‘You must not have physical relations with your brother’s wife. That would shame your brother.
17 “‘You must not have physical relations with both a woman and her daughter. And do not have physical relations with this woman’s granddaughter. It may be the daughter of her son or her daughter. They are her close relatives. It is evil to do this.
18 “‘While your wife is still living, you must not take her sister as another wife. Do not have physical relations with her.
19 “‘You must not go near a woman to have physical relations with her during her monthly period. She is unclean during this time.
20 “‘You must not commit adultery with your neighbor’s wife and make yourself unclean with her.
21 “‘You must not give any of your children to be sacrificed to Molech. This will show that you do not respect your God. I am the Lord.
22 “‘You must not have physical relations with a man as you would a woman. That is a hated sin.
23 “‘You must not have unnatural physical relations with an animal and make yourself unclean with it. Also a woman must not have unnatural physical relations with an animal. It is not natural.
24 “‘Don’t make yourself unclean by any of these wrong things. I am forcing nations out of their countries because they did these sins. And I am giving their land to you. 25 The land has become unclean. So I punished it for its sins. And the land is throwing out those people who live there.
26 “‘You must obey my laws and rules. You must not do any of these hated sins. These rules are for the citizens of Israel. They are also for the people who live with you. 27 The people who lived in the land before you did all these hated things. So the land became unclean. 28 If you do these things, you will also make the land unclean. And it will throw you out as it threw out the nations before you. 29 Anyone who does these hated sins must be separated from his people. 30 The people who lived in the land before you have done these hated sins. But you must not do them. You must obey my laws. Don’t make yourself unclean by these hated sins. I am the Lord your God.’”

18 The Lord said to Moses, 2 “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘I am the Lord your God.(A) 3 You must not do as they do in Egypt, where you used to live, and you must not do as they do in the land of Canaan, where I am bringing you. Do not follow their practices.(B) 4 You must obey my laws(C) and be careful to follow my decrees.(D) I am the Lord your God.(E) 5 Keep my decrees and laws,(F) for the person who obeys them will live by them.(G) I am the Lord.
6 “‘No one is to approach any close relative to have sexual relations. I am the Lord.
7 “‘Do not dishonor your father(H) by having sexual relations with your mother.(I) She is your mother; do not have relations with her.
8 “‘Do not have sexual relations with your father’s wife;(J) that would dishonor your father.(K)
9 “‘Do not have sexual relations with your sister,(L) either your father’s daughter or your mother’s daughter, whether she was born in the same home or elsewhere.(M)
10 “‘Do not have sexual relations with your son’s daughter or your daughter’s daughter; that would dishonor you.
11 “‘Do not have sexual relations with the daughter of your father’s wife, born to your father; she is your sister.
12 “‘Do not have sexual relations with your father’s sister;(N) she is your father’s close relative.
13 “‘Do not have sexual relations with your mother’s sister,(O) because she is your mother’s close relative.
14 “‘Do not dishonor your father’s brother by approaching his wife to have sexual relations; she is your aunt.(P)
15 “‘Do not have sexual relations with your daughter-in-law.(Q) She is your son’s wife; do not have relations with her.(R)
16 “‘Do not have sexual relations with your brother’s wife;(S) that would dishonor your brother.
17 “‘Do not have sexual relations with both a woman and her daughter.(T) Do not have sexual relations with either her son’s daughter or her daughter’s daughter; they are her close relatives. That is wickedness.
18 “‘Do not take your wife’s sister(U) as a rival wife and have sexual relations with her while your wife is living.
19 “‘Do not approach a woman to have sexual relations during the uncleanness(V) of her monthly period.(W)
20 “‘Do not have sexual relations with your neighbor’s wife(X) and defile yourself with her.
21 “‘Do not give any of your children(Y) to be sacrificed to Molek,(Z) for you must not profane the name of your God.(AA) I am the Lord.(AB)
22 “‘Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman;(AC) that is detestable.(AD)
23 “‘Do not have sexual relations with an animal and defile yourself with it. A woman must not present herself to an animal to have sexual relations with it; that is a perversion.(AE)
24 “‘Do not defile yourselves in any of these ways, because this is how the nations that I am going to drive out before you(AF) became defiled.(AG) 25 Even the land was defiled;(AH) so I punished it for its sin,(AI) and the land vomited out its inhabitants.(AJ) 26 But you must keep my decrees and my laws.(AK) The native-born and the foreigners residing among you must not do any of these detestable things, 27 for all these things were done by the people who lived in the land before you, and the land became defiled. 28 And if you defile the land,(AL) it will vomit you out(AM) as it vomited out the nations that were before you.
29 “‘Everyone who does any of these detestable things—such persons must be cut off from their people. 30 Keep my requirements(AN) and do not follow any of the detestable customs that were practiced before you came and do not defile yourselves with them. I am the Lord your God.(AO)’”
