⁹　神說：“天下的水要聚在一處，使旱地露出來！”事就這樣成了。 ¹⁰　神稱旱地為地，稱水的聚處為海。　神看這是好的。 ¹¹　神說：“地上要長出青草、結種子的蔬菜和結果子的樹木，各從其類，在地上的果子都包著核！”事就這樣成了。

⁹And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.

¹⁰And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.

¹¹And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

⁹And God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place,^(A) and let dry ground^(B) appear.” And it was so.^(C) ¹⁰God called^(D) the dry ground “land,” and the gathered waters^(E) he called “seas.”^(F) And God saw that it was good.^(G)

¹¹Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation:^(H) seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.^(I)” And it was so.^(J)
