在路司得
8 路司得城有一个双脚无力的人，坐在那里。他生来就是瘸腿的，从来没有走过路。 9 他听保罗讲道；保罗注视他，见他有信心，可以治好， 10 就大声说：“你起来，两脚站直！”他就跳起来，并且走起路来。 11 众人看见保罗所作的事，就用吕高尼话大声说：“有神明成了人形，降到我们这里来了！” 12 于是他们称巴拿巴为宙斯，称保罗为汉密士，因为保罗带头讲话。 13 城门前宙斯庙的祭司，牵着几头公牛，拿着一些花环来到门口，要同群众一起献祭。 14 巴拿巴和保罗两个使徒听见了，就撕裂衣服，跳进群众中间，喊着说： 15 “各位，为甚么这样作呢？我们也是人，性情和你们一样，我们传福音给你们，正是要你们远离这些虚妄的事，归向永活的 神，就是那创造天、地、海和其中万物的 神。 16 在从前的世代里，他容忍万国各行其道， 17 然而却未尝不为自己留下明证，就如常常行善事，从天上降下雨来，常常赏赐丰年，使你们吃喝充足，满心欢乐。” 18 两人说完了这些话，这才阻止群众，不向他们献祭。

In Iconium
14 Now it happened that in (A)Iconium (B)they entered the synagogue of the Jews together and spoke in such a manner (C)that a large number of people believed, both of Jews and of (D)Greeks. 2 But (E)the [a](F)unbelieving Jews instigated and embittered the [b]minds of the Gentiles against (G)the brothers. 3 Therefore they spent a long time there (H)speaking boldly with reliance upon the Lord, who was testifying to the word of His grace, granting that [c](I)signs and wonders be done through their hands. 4 (J)But the multitude of the city was divided; and some [d]sided with (K)the Jews, and some with (L)the apostles. 5 And when an attempt was made by both the Gentiles and (M)the Jews with their rulers to mistreat and to (N)stone them, 6 they became aware of it and fled to the cities of (O)Lycaonia, (P)Lystra and (Q)Derbe, and the surrounding region; 7 and there they continued to (R)proclaim the gospel.

8 And at (S)Lystra (T)a man was sitting who had no strength in his feet, lame from his mother’s womb, who had never walked. 9 This man listened to Paul as he spoke, who, (U)when he fixed his gaze on him and saw that he had (V)faith to be [e]saved from being lame, 10 said with a loud voice, “Stand upright on your feet.” (W)And he leaped up and began to walk. 11 And when the crowds saw what Paul had done, they raised their voice, saying in the (X)Lycaonian language, “(Y)The gods have become like men and have come down to us.” 12 And they began calling Barnabas, [f]Zeus, and Paul, [g]Hermes, because he was [h]the chief speaker. 13 And the priest of Zeus, whose temple was [i]just outside the city, brought oxen and garlands to the gates, and (Z)was wanting to offer sacrifice with the crowds. 14 But when (AA)the apostles Barnabas and Paul heard of it, they (AB)tore their garments and rushed out into the crowd, crying out 15 and saying, “Men, why are you doing these things? We are also (AC)men of the same nature as you, (AD)proclaiming the gospel to you that you should turn from these [j](AE)vain things to a (AF)living God, (AG)who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and all that is in them. 16 [k]In the generations gone by He (AH)permitted all the [l]nations to (AI)go their own ways; 17 and yet (AJ)He did not leave Himself without witness, in that He did good and (AK)gave you rains from heaven and fruitful seasons, filling your hearts with food and gladness.” 18 And saying these things, with difficulty they restrained the crowds from offering sacrifice to them.
19 But (AL)Jews came from (AM)Antioch and (AN)Iconium, and after winning over the crowds and (AO)stoning Paul, they were dragging him out of the city, supposing him to be dead. 20 But while (AP)the disciples stood around him, he rose up and entered the city. The next day he went away with Barnabas to (AQ)Derbe. 21 And after they had (AR)proclaimed the gospel to that city and had (AS)made many disciples, they returned to (AT)Lystra and to (AU)Iconium and to (AV)Antioch, 22 strengthening the souls of (AW)the disciples, encouraging them to continue in (AX)the faith, and saying, “(AY)Through many afflictions we must enter the kingdom of God.” 23 And when (AZ)they had appointed (BA)elders for them in every church, having (BB)prayed with fasting, they (BC)commended them to the Lord in whom they had believed.
The Return to Antioch
24 And when they passed through (BD)Pisidia, they came into (BE)Pamphylia. 25 And when they had spoken the word in (BF)Perga, they went down to Attalia. 26 And from there they sailed to (BG)Antioch, from (BH)where they had been (BI)committed to the grace of God for the work that they had fulfilled. 27 And when they had arrived and gathered the church together, they began to (BJ)report all things that God had done with them and [m]how He had opened a (BK)door of faith to the Gentiles. 28 And they spent not a little time with (BL)the disciples.

14 En Iconio, Pablo y Bernabé entraron, como de costumbre, en la sinagoga judía y hablaron de tal manera que creyó una multitud de judíos y de griegos. 2 Pero los judíos incrédulos incitaron a los gentiles y envenenaron su ánimo contra los hermanos. 3 En todo caso, Pablo y Bernabé pasaron allí bastante tiempo, hablando valientemente en el nombre del Señor, quien confirmaba el mensaje de su gracia haciendo señales y prodigios por medio de ellos. 4 La gente de la ciudad estaba dividida: unos estaban de parte de los judíos, y otros, de parte de los apóstoles. 5 Hubo un complot tanto de los gentiles como de los judíos, apoyados por sus dirigentes, para maltratarlos y apedrearlos. 6 Al darse cuenta de esto, los apóstoles huyeron a Listra y Derbe, ciudades de Licaonia, y a sus alrededores, 7 donde siguieron anunciando las buenas nuevas.

8 En Listra vivía un hombre lisiado de nacimiento, que no podía mover las piernas y nunca había caminado. Estaba sentado, 9 escuchando a Pablo, quien, al reparar en él y ver que tenía fe para ser sanado, 10 le ordenó con voz fuerte:
―¡Ponte en pie y enderézate!
El hombre dio un salto y empezó a caminar. 11 Al ver lo que Pablo había hecho, la gente comenzó a gritar en el idioma de Licaonia:
―¡Los dioses han tomado forma humana y han venido a visitarnos!
12 A Bernabé lo llamaban Zeus, y a Pablo, Hermes, porque era el que dirigía la palabra. 13 El sacerdote de Zeus, el dios cuyo templo estaba a las afueras de la ciudad, llevó toros y guirnaldas a las puertas y, con toda la multitud, quería ofrecerles sacrificios.
14 Al enterarse de esto los apóstoles Bernabé y Pablo, se rasgaron las vestiduras y se lanzaron entre la multitud, gritando:
15 ―Señores, ¿por qué hacéis esto? Nosotros también somos hombres mortales como vosotros. Las buenas nuevas que os anunciamos son que dejéis estas cosas sin valor y os volváis al Dios viviente, que hizo el cielo, la tierra, el mar y todo lo que hay en ellos. 16 En épocas pasadas él permitió que todas las naciones siguieran su propio camino. 17 Sin embargo, no ha dejado de dar testimonio de sí mismo haciendo el bien, dándoos lluvias del cielo y estaciones fructíferas, proporcionándoos comida y alegría de corazón.
18 A pesar de todo lo que dijeron, a duras penas evitaron que la multitud les ofreciera sacrificios.
19 En eso llegaron de Antioquía y de Iconio unos judíos que hicieron cambiar de parecer a la multitud. Apedrearon a Pablo y lo arrastraron fuera de la ciudad, creyendo que estaba muerto. 20 Pero, cuando lo rodearon los discípulos, él se levantó y volvió a entrar en la ciudad. Al día siguiente, partió para Derbe en compañía de Bernabé.
El regreso a Antioquía de Siria
21 Después de anunciar las buenas nuevas en aquella ciudad y de hacer muchos discípulos, Pablo y Bernabé regresaron a Listra, a Iconio y a Antioquía, 22 fortaleciendo a los discípulos y animándolos a perseverar en la fe. «Es necesario pasar por muchas dificultades para entrar en el reino de Dios», les decían. 23 En cada iglesia nombraron ancianos y, con oración y ayuno, los encomendaron al Señor en quien habían creído. 24 Atravesando Pisidia, llegaron a Panfilia 25 y, cuando terminaron de predicar la palabra en Perge, bajaron a Atalía.
26 De Atalía navegaron a Antioquía, donde se los había encomendado a la gracia de Dios para la obra que ya habían realizado. 27 Cuando llegaron, reunieron a la iglesia e informaron de todo lo que Dios había hecho por medio de ellos, y de cómo había abierto la puerta de la fe a los gentiles. 28 Y se quedaron allí mucho tiempo con los discípulos.
