45 犹太人看见这么多人，就满心嫉妒，反驳保罗所讲的，并且毁谤他们。 46 保罗和巴拿巴却放胆说：“ 神的道，先讲给你们听，是应该的。但因为你们弃绝这道，断定自己不配得永生，所以我们现在就转向外族人去了。 47 因为主曾这样吩咐我们说：
‘我已立你作外族人的光，
使你把救恩带到地极去。’”

New International Version
45 When the Jews saw the crowds, they were filled with jealousy. They began to contradict what Paul was saying(A) and heaped abuse(B) on him.
46 Then Paul and Barnabas answered them boldly: “We had to speak the word of God to you first.(C) Since you reject it and do not consider yourselves worthy of eternal life, we now turn to the Gentiles.(D) 47 For this is what the Lord has commanded us:
