2 耶和华与犹大争辩;
4 他与天使角力,并且得胜;
我为自己发了财;
我就是耶和华你的 神;
加添许多异象;

虛謊和暴力日益增多;
2 耶和華指控猶大;
Hosea 12
Living Bible
12 Israel is chasing the wind, yes, shepherding a whirlwind—a dangerous game![a] For she has given gifts to Egypt and Assyria to get their help, and in return she gets their worthless promises.
2 But the Lord is bringing a lawsuit against Judah. Jacob will be justly punished for his ways. 3 When he was born, he struggled with his brother; when he became a man, he even fought with God. 4 Yes, he wrestled with the Angel and prevailed. He wept and pleaded for a blessing from him. He met God there at Bethel face-to-face. God spoke to him— 5 the Lord, the God of heaven’s armies—Jehovah is his name.
6 Oh, come back to God. Live by the principles of love and justice, and always be expecting much from him, your God.
7 But no, my people are like crafty merchants selling from dishonest scales—they love to cheat. 8 Ephraim boasts, “I am so rich! I have gotten it all by myself!” But riches can’t make up for sin.
9 “I am the same Lord, the same God, who delivered you from slavery in Egypt, and I am the one who will consign you to living in tents again, as you do each year at the Tabernacle Feast. 10 I sent my prophets to warn you with many a vision and many a parable and dream.”
11 But the sins of Gilgal flourish just the same. Row on row of altars—like furrows in a field—are used for sacrifices to your idols. And Gilead, too, is full of fools[b] who worship idols. 12 Jacob fled to Syria and earned a wife by tending sheep. 13 Then the Lord led his people out of Egypt by a prophet, who guided and protected them. 14 But Ephraim has bitterly provoked the Lord. The Lord will sentence him to death as payment for his sins.

12 [a]Ephraim feeds on (A)wind
And pursues the (B)east wind continually;
He abounds in falsehood and destruction.
Moreover, [b]he cuts a covenant with Assyria,
And oil is carried to Egypt.
Yahweh’s Contention with Judah
2 And Yahweh has a (C)contention with Judah
And will punish Jacob (D)according to his ways;
He will cause everything to return to him according to his deeds.
3 In the womb he (E)took his brother by the heel,
And in his maturity he [c](F)wrestled with God.
4 Indeed, he [d]wrestled with the angel and prevailed;
He wept and (G)sought His favor.
He found Him at (H)Bethel,
And there He spoke with us,
5 Even Yahweh, the God of hosts,
Yahweh is His [e](I)name of remembrance.
6 Therefore, (J)return to your God,
(K)Keep lovingkindness and justice,
And (L)hope in your God continually.
7 A [f]merchant, in whose hands are deceptive (M)balances,
He loves to oppress.
8 And Ephraim said, “Surely I have become (N)rich;
I have found wealth for myself;
In all my labors they will find in me
(O)No iniquity, which would be sin.”
9 But I have been Yahweh your God since the land of Egypt;
I will make you (P)settle in tents again,
As in the days of the appointed festival.
10 And I have spoken to the (Q)prophets,
And I [g]made visions abound,
And by the hand of the prophets I gave (R)parables.
11 Is there wickedness in Gilead?
Surely they are worthless.
In Gilgal they sacrifice bulls;
Yes, (S)their altars are like the stone heaps
Beside the furrows of the field.
12 Now (T)Jacob fled to the field of Aram,
And (U)Israel worked for a wife,
And for a wife he kept sheep.
13 But by a (V)prophet Yahweh brought Israel up from Egypt,
And by a prophet he was kept.
14 (W)Ephraim has provoked to bitter anger;
So his Lord will leave his (X)bloodguilt on him
And cause his (Y)reproach to return to him.
