¹²我兒，還有，你當受勸勉：著書多，沒有窮盡；讀書多，身體疲倦。

¹³你們一切都聽見了，總而言之，應當敬畏　神，謹守他的誡命，因為這是每一個人的本分。 ¹⁴人所作的每一件事，連一切隱藏的事，無論是善是惡，　神都必審問。

Ecclesiastes 12:12-14

New International Version

¹²Be warned, my son, of anything in addition to them.

Of making many books there is no end, and much study wearies the body.^(A)

¹³Now all has been heard;
    here is the conclusion of the matter:
Fear God^(B) and keep his commandments,^(C)
    for this is the duty of all mankind.^(D)
¹⁴For God will bring every deed into judgment,^(E)
    including every hidden thing,^(F)
    whether it is good or evil.
