12 И така, Далила намери нови въжета, върза го с тях и му каза: Филистимците те нападат, Самсоне! (И имаше скрити хора, причакващи в спалнята ѝ). А Самсон ги скъса от ръцете си като нишка.

13 Тогава Далила каза на Самсон: Непрекъснато ми се подиграваш и ме лъжеш. Кажи ми с какво трябва да те вържат. А той отговори: Трябва да втъчеш седемте плитки на главата ми в тъканта, която тъчеш.

14 И тя ги втъка и заклини стана; тогава му каза: Филистимците те нападат, Самсоне! А той се събуди от съня си и изтръгна клина на стана заедно с тъканта.

12 So Delilah took new ropes and tied him with them. Then, with men hidden in the room, she called to him, “Samson, the Philistines are upon you!”(A) But he snapped the ropes off his arms as if they were threads.

13 Delilah then said to Samson, “All this time you have been making a fool of me and lying to me. Tell me how you can be tied.”

He replied, “If you weave the seven braids of my head into the fabric on the loom and tighten it with the pin, I’ll become as weak as any other man.” So while he was sleeping, Delilah took the seven braids of his head, wove them into the fabric 14 and[a] tightened it with the pin.

Again she called to him, “Samson, the Philistines are upon you!”(B) He awoke from his sleep and pulled up the pin and the loom, with the fabric.

12 Mientras algunos filisteos estaban al acecho en el cuarto, Dalila tomó sogas nuevas y lo ató, y luego le gritó:

―¡Sansón, los filisteos se lanzan sobre ti!

Pero él rompió las sogas que ataban sus brazos, como quien rompe un hilo.

13 Entonces Dalila le dijo a Sansón:

―¡Hasta ahora te has burlado de mí, y me has dicho mentiras! Dime cómo se te puede atar.

―Si entretejes las siete trenzas de mi cabello con la tela del telar, y aseguras esta con la clavija —respondió él—, me debilitaré y seré como cualquier otro hombre.

Entonces, mientras él dormía, Dalila tomó las siete trenzas de Sansón, las entretejió con la tela 14 y[a] las aseguró con la clavija.

Una vez más ella le gritó: «¡Sansón, los filisteos se lanzan sobre ti!» Sansón despertó de su sueño y arrancó la clavija y el telar, junto con la tela.
