Покаяние и прощение
32 (A)Давидов псалом. Поучение.
Блажен онзи, чието престъпление е простено,
чийто грях е покрит.
2 (B)Блажен онзи човек, на когото Господ не вменява беззаконие
и в чийто дух няма измама.
3 Когато мълчах, овехтяха костите ми
от охкането ми всеки ден;
4 (C)понеже денем и нощем ръката Ти тежеше върху мене,
влагата ми се превърна в лятна суша. (Села.)
5 (D)Признах греха си пред Теб и беззаконието си не скрих.
Казах: Ще изповядам на Господа престъпленията си;
и Ти прости вината на греха ми. (Села.)
6 (E)За това нещо нека Ти се моли всеки благочестив –
навреме, когато може да се намери то;
наистина, когато големите води преливат,
те няма да стигнат до него.
7 (F)Ти си прибежище мое; Ти ще ме пазиш от скръб;
с песни на избавление ще ме окръжаваш. (Села.)
8 Аз ще те вразумя и ще те науча на
пътя, по който трябва да ходиш;
ще те съветвам,
като върху тебе ще бъде окото Ми.
9 (G)Не бъдете като кон или като муле,
които нямат разум;
за чиито челюсти трябва оглавник и юзда, за да ги държат,
иначе не биха се приближавали към Тебе.
10 (H)Много ще бъдат скърбите на нечестивия;
но онзи, който уповава на Господа,
милост ще го окръжи.
11 (I)Веселете се в Господа и се радвайте, праведници,
и викайте с радост всички, които сте с право сърце.

Confesión y perdón
(1a) Instrucción de David.
32 (1b) Feliz el hombre a quien sus culpas y pecados
le han sido perdonados por completo.
2 Feliz el hombre que no es mal intencionado
y a quien el Señor no acusa de falta alguna.
3 Mientras no confesé mi pecado,
mi cuerpo iba decayendo
por mi gemir de todo el día,
4 pues de día y de noche
tu mano pesaba sobre mí.
Como flor marchita por el calor del verano,
así me sentía decaer.
5 Pero te confesé sin reservas
mi pecado y mi maldad;
decidí confesarte mis pecados,
y tú, Señor, los perdonaste.
6 Por eso, en momentos de angustia
los fieles te invocarán,
y aunque las aguas caudalosas se desborden,
no llegarán hasta ellos.
7 Tú eres mi refugio:
me proteges del peligro,
me rodeas de gritos de liberación.
8 El Señor dice:
«Mis ojos están puestos en ti.
Yo te daré instrucciones,
te daré consejos,
te enseñaré el camino que debes seguir.
9 No seas como el mulo o el caballo,
que no pueden entender
y hay que detener su brío
con el freno y con la rienda,
pues de otra manera no se acercan a ti.»
10 Los malvados tendrán muchos dolores,
pero el amor del Señor envuelve
a los que en él confían.
11 Alégrense en el Señor,
hombres buenos y honrados;
¡alégrense y griten de alegría!

1 Blessed is the one
whose transgressions are forgiven,
whose sins are covered.(A)
2 Blessed is the one
whose sin the Lord does not count against them(B)
and in whose spirit is no deceit.(C)
3 When I kept silent,(D)
my bones wasted away(E)
through my groaning(F) all day long.
4 For day and night
your hand was heavy(G) on me;
my strength was sapped(H)
as in the heat of summer.[b]
5 Then I acknowledged my sin to you
and did not cover up my iniquity.(I)
I said, “I will confess(J)
my transgressions(K) to the Lord.”
And you forgave
the guilt of my sin.(L)
6 Therefore let all the faithful pray to you
while you may be found;(M)
surely the rising(N) of the mighty waters(O)
will not reach them.(P)
7 You are my hiding place;(Q)
you will protect me from trouble(R)
and surround me with songs of deliverance.(S)
8 I will instruct(T) you and teach you(U) in the way you should go;
I will counsel you with my loving eye on(V) you.
9 Do not be like the horse or the mule,
which have no understanding
but must be controlled by bit and bridle(W)
or they will not come to you.
10 Many are the woes of the wicked,(X)
but the Lord’s unfailing love
surrounds the one who trusts(Y) in him.
11 Rejoice in the Lord(Z) and be glad, you righteous;
sing, all you who are upright in heart!
