Благодарност към Бога за избавлението
116 (A)Обичам Господа, защото послуша
гласа ми и молбите ми;
2 понеже приклони ухото Си към мене,
затова ще Го призовавам, докато съм жив.
3 (B)Връзките на смъртта ме обвиха
и мъките на преизподнята ме намериха;
скръб и беда срещнах.
4 Тогава призовах името Господне и Го помолих:
О, Господи, избави душата ми.
5 (C)Благ е Господ и праведен.
Да! Милостив е нашият Бог.
6 Господ пази простодушните;
в беда бях и Той ме избави.
7 Върни се, душо моя, в успокоението си,
защото Господ постъпи щедро към тебе.
8 (D)Понеже си избавил душата ми от смърт,
очите ми от сълзи и краката ми от подхлъзване,
9 (E)затова ще ходя пред Господа в земята на живите.

10 (F)(1) Аз повярвах, затова говорих;
много бях наскърбен.
11 (G)(2) В тревогата си казах:
Всеки човек е измамлив.
12 Какво да въздам на Господа
за всичките Му благодеяния към мене?
13 Ще взема чашата на спасението
и ще призова името Господне;
14 (H)(5) ще изпълня оброците си на Господа,
да, пред целия Му народ.
15 (I)(6) Скъпоценна е пред Господа
смъртта на светиите Му.
16 (J)(7) Ах! Господи, наистина аз съм Твой слуга;
Твой слуга съм, син на Твоята слугиня;
Ти си развързал връзките ми.
17 (K)(8) На Тебе ще принеса жертва на хваление
и името Господне ще призова.
18 (L)(9) Ще изпълня оброците си на Господа –
да! – пред целия Негов народ,
19 (M)(10) в дворовете на дома Господен,

116 Amo al Señor(A), porque oye(B)
Mi voz y mis súplicas.
2 Porque a mí ha inclinado Su oído(C);
Por tanto le invocaré mientras yo viva.
3 Los lazos de la muerte me rodearon(D),
Y los terrores del Seol vinieron sobre mí;
Angustia y tristeza encontré.
4 Invoqué entonces el nombre del Señor(E), diciendo:
«Te ruego, oh Señor: salva mi vida(F)».
5 ¶Clemente(G) y justo(H) es el Señor;
Sí, compasivo es nuestro Dios(I).
6 El Señor guarda a los sencillos(J);
Estaba yo postrado(K) y me salvó.
7 Vuelve, alma mía, a tu reposo(L),
Porque el Señor te ha colmado de bienes(M).
8 Pues Tú has rescatado mi alma de la muerte(N),
Mis ojos de lágrimas,
Mis pies de tropezar.
9 Andaré delante del Señor
En la tierra de los vivientes(O).
10 Yo creía, aun cuando decía(P):
«Estoy muy afligido(Q)».
11 Dije alarmado(R):
«Todo hombre es mentiroso(S)».
12 ¶¿Qué daré al Señor(T)
Por todos Sus beneficios para conmigo(U)?
13 Alzaré la copa de la salvación(V),
E invocaré el nombre del Señor(W).
14 Cumpliré mis votos al Señor(X),
Sí, en presencia de todo Su pueblo(Y).
15 Estimada a los ojos del Señor(Z)
Es la muerte de Sus santos.
16 ¡Ah, Señor! Ciertamente yo soy Tu siervo(AA),
Siervo Tuyo soy, hijo de Tu sierva(AB);
Tú desataste mis ataduras(AC).
17 Te ofreceré sacrificio de acción de gracias(AD),
E invocaré el nombre del Señor(AE).
18 Al Señor cumpliré mis votos,
Sí, en presencia de todo Su pueblo(AF),
19 En los atrios de la casa del Señor(AG),
En medio de ti, oh Jerusalén(AH).

1 I love the Lord,(A) for he heard my voice;
he heard my cry(B) for mercy.(C)
2 Because he turned his ear(D) to me,
I will call on him as long as I live.
3 The cords of death(E) entangled me,
the anguish of the grave came over me;
I was overcome by distress and sorrow.
4 Then I called on the name(F) of the Lord:
“Lord, save me!(G)”
5 The Lord is gracious and righteous;(H)
our God is full of compassion.(I)
6 The Lord protects the unwary;
when I was brought low,(J) he saved me.(K)
8 For you, Lord, have delivered me(N) from death,
my eyes from tears,
my feet from stumbling,
9 that I may walk before the Lord(O)
in the land of the living.(P)
10 I trusted(Q) in the Lord when I said,
“I am greatly afflicted”;(R)
11 in my alarm I said,
“Everyone is a liar.”(S)
12 What shall I return to the Lord
for all his goodness(T) to me?
13 I will lift up the cup of salvation
and call on the name(U) of the Lord.
14 I will fulfill my vows(V) to the Lord
in the presence of all his people.
15 Precious in the sight(W) of the Lord
is the death of his faithful servants.(X)
16 Truly I am your servant, Lord;(Y)
I serve you just as my mother did;(Z)
you have freed me from my chains.(AA)
17 I will sacrifice a thank offering(AB) to you
and call on the name of the Lord.
18 I will fulfill my vows(AC) to the Lord
in the presence of all his people,
19 in the courts(AD) of the house of the Lord—
in your midst, Jerusalem.(AE)

2 Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.
3 The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.
4 Then called I upon the name of the Lord; O Lord, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.
5 Gracious is the Lord, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.
6 The Lord preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.
7 Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the Lord hath dealt bountifully with thee.
8 For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.
9 I will walk before the Lord in the land of the living.
10 I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:
11 I said in my haste, All men are liars.
12 What shall I render unto the Lord for all his benefits toward me?
13 I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the Lord.
14 I will pay my vows unto the Lord now in the presence of all his people.
15 Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.
16 O Lord, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.
17 I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the Lord.
18 I will pay my vows unto the Lord now in the presence of all his people.
19 In the courts of the Lord's house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the Lord.
