Двата пътя
1 (A)Блажен онзи човек,
който не ходи по съвета на нечестивите
и в пътя на грешните не стои,
и в събранието на присмивателите не седи;
2 (B)а се наслаждава в закона на Господа
и в Неговия закон се поучава ден и нощ.
3 (C)Ще бъде като дърво, посадено при потоци води,
което дава плода си на времето си
и чийто лист не повяхва;
във всичко, което върши, ще благоуспява.
4 (D)Не е така с нечестивите;
а те са като плявата, която вятърът отвява.
5 Затова нечестивите няма да устоят в съда,
нито грешните – в събора на праведните;
6 (E)защото Господ наблюдава пътя на праведните;
а пътят на нечестивите ще бъде погибел.

5 Затова, нечестивите няма да устоят в съда, Нито грешните в събора на праведните;
6 Защото Господ наблюдава пътя на праведните; А пътят на нечестивите ще бъде погибел.

Two Ways to Live
1 ·Happy [Blessed] are those who don’t ·listen to [L walk in the counsel of] the wicked,
who don’t ·go where sinners go [L stand in the way of sinners],
who don’t ·do what evil people do [L sit in the seat of mockers].
2 They ·love [delight in] the Lord’s ·teachings [laws; instructions],
and they ·think about [meditate on] those ·teachings [laws; instructions] day and night.
3 They are like a tree planted by ·a river [L streams of water; C full of life, strong, vibrant].
The tree produces fruit in season,
and its leaves don’t ·die [wither].
Everything they do will ·succeed [prosper].
4 But wicked people are not like that.
They are like chaff that the wind blows away [C dead, unstable].
5 So the wicked will not ·escape God’s punishment [L stand in the judgment].
Sinners will not ·worship with God’s people [L be in the assembly of the righteous].
6 This is because the Lord ·takes care of his people [L knows the way of the righteous],
but the way of the wicked will be destroyed.

1 Blessed is the one(A)
who does not walk(B) in step with the wicked(C)
or stand in the way(D) that sinners take(E)
or sit(F) in the company of mockers,(G)
2 but whose delight(H) is in the law of the Lord,(I)
and who meditates(J) on his law day and night.
3 That person is like a tree(K) planted by streams(L) of water,(M)
which yields its fruit(N) in season
and whose leaf(O) does not wither—
whatever they do prospers.(P)

1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6 For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
