22 Затем Ангел показал мне реку животворной воды, чистой, как хрусталь, которая текла от престола Божьего и от Агнца 2 и протекала по улицам города. По обе стороны реки росло дерево жизни. Оно приносит двенадцать урожаев в год, плодонося раз в месяц, а листья дерева предназначены для исцеления народов.
3 Не будет там ничего, что неугодно Богу. Там будет престол Божий и Агнца, а Его слуги будут поклоняться Ему. 4 Они увидят Его лицо, и имя Божье будет написано на их лбах. 5 И не будет больше ночи, и не будет у них нужды ни в светильнике, ни в солнечном свете, так как Господь Бог будет светить им и они будут править во веки веков словно цари.
6 Тогда Ангел сказал мне: «Истинны и правдивы эти слова. Господь—Бог, давший пророкам дух пророческий, послал Своего Ангела показать Своим слугам то, что произойдёт вскоре: 7 „Послушай! Я скоро приду! Блажен тот, кто повинуется пророческим словам, записанным в этой книге”».
8 Я, Иоанн, слышал и видел всё это. И когда я услышал и увидел их, то склонился к ногам Ангела, показывавшего мне это, в знак поклонения ему. 9 Но он сказал мне: «Не делай этого! Я такой же слуга, как ты и твои собратья, пророки, которые повинуются словам, записанным в этой книге. Поклоняйся Богу!»
10 И ещё сказал он мне: «Не держи в тайне пророческие слова, записанные в этой книге, так как близко время, когда всё это свершится. 11 Пусть те, кто творили зло, так и продолжают поступать, а нечистые пусть остаются нечистыми. Пусть те, кто поступают праведно, так и продолжают поступать, а те, кто святы, остаются святыми».
12 «Послушай! Я скоро приду! Я принесу с собой награду. Я воздам каждому по делам его. 13 Я Альфа и Омега[a], Первый и Последний, начало и конец.
14 Блаженны те, кто омоют свои одежды[b]. У них будет право вкусить от дерева жизни, пройти через ворота и войти в город. 15 Псы же, а вместе с ними колдуны, развратники, убийцы, идолопоклонники и все, кто любят ложь и предаются ей, останутся снаружи.
16 Я, Иисус, послал Моего Ангела засвидетельствовать всё это перед церквями. Я—потомок рода Давида, яркая утренняя звезда».
17 И Дух, и невеста говорят: «Приди!» И пусть тот, кто услышит, скажет: «Приди!» И пусть тот, кто жаждет, придёт. Любой желающий сможет получить в дар животворную воду.
18 Вот о чём я свидетельствую перед всеми, кто слышит пророческие слова этой книги: если кто добавит что-либо к этим словам, то Бог пошлёт на него все бедствия, описанные в ней. 19 И если кто опустит что-либо из пророческих слов этой книги, то Бог отнимет у того долю в древе жизни и святом городе, описанном в ней.
20 Тот, кто свидетельствует обо всём этом, говорит: «Да, Я скоро приду».
Аминь! Приди же, Господь Иисус!

22 Then the angel showed me the river(A) of the water of life,(B) as clear as crystal,(C) flowing(D) from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2 down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life,(E) bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.(F) 3 No longer will there be any curse.(G) The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him.(H) 4 They will see his face,(I) and his name will be on their foreheads.(J) 5 There will be no more night.(K) They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light.(L) And they will reign for ever and ever.(M)
John and the Angel
6 The angel said to me,(N) “These words are trustworthy and true.(O) The Lord, the God who inspires the prophets,(P) sent his angel(Q) to show his servants the things that must soon take place.”
7 “Look, I am coming soon!(R) Blessed(S) is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy written in this scroll.”(T)
8 I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things.(U) And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet(V) of the angel who had been showing them to me. 9 But he said to me, “Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your fellow prophets and with all who keep the words of this scroll.(W) Worship God!”(X)
10 Then he told me, “Do not seal up(Y) the words of the prophecy of this scroll,(Z) because the time is near.(AA) 11 Let the one who does wrong continue to do wrong; let the vile person continue to be vile; let the one who does right continue to do right; and let the holy person continue to be holy.”(AB)
Epilogue: Invitation and Warning
12 “Look, I am coming soon!(AC) My reward is with me,(AD) and I will give to each person according to what they have done.(AE) 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega,(AF) the First and the Last,(AG) the Beginning and the End.(AH)
14 “Blessed are those who wash their robes,(AI) that they may have the right to the tree of life(AJ) and may go through the gates(AK) into the city.(AL) 15 Outside(AM) are the dogs,(AN) those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
16 “I, Jesus,(AO) have sent my angel(AP) to give you[a] this testimony for the churches.(AQ) I am the Root(AR) and the Offspring of David,(AS) and the bright Morning Star.”(AT)
17 The Spirit(AU) and the bride(AV) say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.(AW)
18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll:(AX) If anyone adds anything to them,(AY) God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll.(AZ) 19 And if anyone takes words away(BA) from this scroll of prophecy,(BB) God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life(BC) and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.
20 He who testifies to these things(BD) says, “Yes, I am coming soon.”(BE)
Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.(BF)
21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people.(BG) Amen.

The River of Life
22 Then the angel[a] showed me (A)the river of (B)the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2 through the middle of (C)the street of the city; (D)also, on either side of the river, (E)the tree of life[b] with its twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month. The leaves of the tree were (F)for the healing of the nations. 3 (G)No longer will there be anything accursed, but (H)the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and (I)his servants will worship him. 4 (J)They will see his face, and (K)his name will be on their foreheads. 5 And (L)night will be no more. They will need no light of lamp (M)or sun, for (N)the Lord God will be their light, and (O)they will reign forever and ever.
Jesus Is Coming
6 And he said to me, (P)“These words are trustworthy and true. And the Lord, the God of (Q)the spirits of the prophets, (R)has sent his angel to show his servants what must soon take place.”
7 “And behold, (S)I am coming soon. (T)Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”
8 I, (U)John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw them, (V)I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed them to me, 9 (W)but he said to me, “You must not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers the prophets, and with those (X)who keep the words of this book. Worship God.”
10 And he said to me, (Y)“Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near. 11 (Z)Let the evildoer still do evil, and the filthy still be filthy, and the righteous still do right, and the holy still be holy.”
12 “Behold, (AA)I am coming soon, (AB)bringing my recompense with me, (AC)to repay each one for what he has done. 13 (AD)I am the Alpha and the Omega, (AE)the first and the last, (AF)the beginning and the end.”
14 Blessed are those who (AG)wash their robes,[c] so that they may have the right to (AH)the tree of life and that (AI)they may enter the city by the gates. 15 (AJ)Outside are (AK)the dogs (AL)and sorcerers and the sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
16 (AM)“I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you about these things (AN)for the churches. I am (AO)the root and (AP)the descendant of David, (AQ)the bright morning star.”
17 The Spirit and (AR)the Bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And (AS)let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the (AT)water of life without price.
18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: (AU)if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book, 19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in (AV)the tree of life and in (AW)the holy city, which are described in this book.
20 He who testifies to these things says, “Surely (AX)I am coming soon.” Amen. (AY)Come, Lord Jesus!
21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all.[d] Amen.
