Призоваване на Исайя за пророк
6 (A)В годината, когато умря цар Озия, видях Господа, седнал на висок и издигнат престол и полите Му изпълваха храма.
2 (B)Над Него стояха серафимите, всеки от които имаше по шест крила; с две покриваше лицето си, с две покриваше краката си и с две летеше.
3 (C)Те викаха един през друг:
Свят, свят, свят Господ на Силите!
Славата Му изпълва цялата земя.
4 (D)И основите на праговете се поклатиха от гласа на онези, които викаха, и домът се напълни с дим.
5 (E)Тогава казах: Горко ми, защото загинах; тъй като съм човек с нечисти устни и живея между хора с нечисти устни, понеже очите ми видяха Царя, Господа на Силите.
6 (F)Тогава при мене долетя един от серафимите, като държеше в ръката си разпален въглен, който беше взел с щипци от олтара.
7 (G)И като го допря до устата ми, каза: Ето, това се допря до устните ти; и беззаконието ти бе отнето и грехът ти бе умилостивен.
8 (H)После чух гласа на Господа, Който казваше: Кого да изпратя? И кой ще отиде заради Нас? Тогава казах: Ето ме, изпрати мене.
9 (I)Той каза:
Иди, кажи на този народ:
С уши непрекъснато ще чувате, но няма да схванете,
и с очи непрекъснато ще гледате, но няма да разберете.
10 (J)Направи да закоравее сърцето на този народ
и направи да натегнат ушите им, и затвори очите им,
да не би да гледат с очите си и да слушат с ушите си,
и да разберат със сърцето си, и да се обърнат и да бъдат изцелени.
11 (K)Тогава казах: Господи, докога?
А Той отговори:
Докато запустеят градовете, за да няма жител,
и къщите, за да няма човек,
и страната да запустее съвсем;
12 (L)докато Господ отдалечи хората
и напуснатите места сред земята бъдат много.
13 (M)Но още ще остане в нея една десета част
и тя ще бъде разорена;
но както на теревинта и дъба
пънът им остава, когато бъдат отсечени,
така светият род ще бъде пънът ѝ.

6 En el año que murió el rey Uzías vi yo al Señor sentado sobre un trono alto y sublime, y sus faldas llenaban el templo.
2 Y encima de él estaban serafines; cada uno tenía seis alas; con dos cubrían sus rostros, con dos cubrían sus pies, y con dos volaban.
3 Y el uno al otro daba voces, diciendo: Santo, Santo, Santo, el SEÑOR de los ejércitos; toda la tierra está llena de su gloria.
4 Y los quiciales de las puertas se estremecieron con la voz del que clamaba; y la Casa se llenó de humo.
5 Entonces dije: ¡Ay de mí! que soy muerto; que siendo hombre inmundo de labios, y habitando en medio de pueblo que tiene labios inmundos, han visto mis ojos al Rey, el SEÑOR de los ejércitos.
6 Y voló hacia mí uno de los serafines, teniendo en su mano un carbón encendido, tomado del altar con unas tenazas;
7 y tocando con él sobre mi boca, dijo: He aquí que esto tocó tus labios, y quitará tu iniquidad, y tu pecado será limpiado.
8 Después oí la voz del Señor, que decía: ¿A quién enviaré, y quién irá por nosotros? Entonces respondí yo: Heme aquí, envíame a mí.
9 Entonces dijo: Anda, y di a este pueblo: Oíd bien, y no entendáis; ved por cierto, mas no comprendáis.
10 Engruesa el corazón de este pueblo, y agrava sus oídos, y ciega sus ojos; para que no vea con sus ojos, ni oiga con sus oídos, ni su corazón entienda; ni se convierta, y haya para él sanidad.
11 Y yo dije: ¿Hasta cuándo, Señor? Y respondió él: Hasta que las ciudades estén asoladas, y sin morador, ni hombre en las casas, y la tierra sea tornada en desierto;
12 hasta que el SEÑOR quite lejos los hombres, y haya gran soledad en la tierra.
13 Y quedará en ella la décima parte, y volverá; y será asolada, como el olmo y como el alcornoque, de los cuales en la tala queda el tronco con vida; su tronco, simiente santa.

6 In the year that King Uzziah(A) died,(B) I saw the Lord,(C) high and exalted,(D) seated on a throne;(E) and the train of his robe(F) filled the temple. 2 Above him were seraphim,(G) each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet,(H) and with two they were flying. 3 And they were calling to one another:
4 At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook and the temple was filled with smoke.(M)
5 “Woe(N) to me!” I cried. “I am ruined!(O) For I am a man of unclean lips,(P) and I live among a people of unclean lips,(Q) and my eyes have seen(R) the King,(S) the Lord Almighty.”(T)
6 Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a live coal(U) in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar. 7 With it he touched my mouth and said, “See, this has touched your lips;(V) your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.(W)”
8 Then I heard the voice(X) of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send?(Y) And who will go for us?(Z)”
And I said, “Here am I.(AA) Send me!”
9 He said, “Go(AB) and tell this people:
“‘Be ever hearing, but never understanding;
be ever seeing, but never perceiving.’(AC)
10 Make the heart of this people calloused;(AD)
make their ears dull
and close their eyes.[a](AE)
Otherwise they might see with their eyes,
hear with their ears,(AF)
understand with their hearts,
and turn and be healed.”(AG)
11 Then I said, “For how long, Lord?”(AH)
And he answered:
“Until the cities lie ruined(AI)
and without inhabitant,
until the houses are left deserted(AJ)
and the fields ruined and ravaged,(AK)
12 until the Lord has sent everyone far away(AL)
and the land is utterly forsaken.(AM)
13 And though a tenth remains(AN) in the land,
it will again be laid waste.(AO)
But as the terebinth and oak
leave stumps(AP) when they are cut down,
so the holy(AQ) seed will be the stump in the land.”(AR)

6 In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.
2 Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.
3 And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.
4 And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.
5 Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts.
6 Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:
7 And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.
8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.
9 And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.
10 Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.
11 Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate,
12 And the Lord have removed men far away, and there be a great forsaking in the midst of the land.
13 But yet in it shall be a tenth, and it shall return, and shall be eaten: as a teil tree, and as an oak, whose substance is in them, when they cast their leaves: so the holy seed shall be the substance thereof.
