Божият съд на земята и бъдещата слава
2 Словото, което се откри на Амосовия син Исайя за Юдея и Йерусалим:
2 (A)В следващите дни
хълмът на дома Господен
ще се утвърди по-високо от всички хълмове
и ще се издигне над бърдата;
и всички народи ще се стекат на него.
3 (B)И много племена ще отидат и ще кажат:
Елате, да възлезем на хълма Господен,
в дома на Якововия Бог;
Той ще ни научи на пътищата Си
и ние ще ходим в пътеките Му,
защото от Сион ще излезе поуката
и словото Господне – от Йерусалим.
4 (C)Бог ще съди между народите
и ще решава между много племена;
и те ще изковат мечовете си на палешници
и копията си – на сърпове;
народ против народ няма да вдигне меч,
нито ще се учат вече на война.
5 (D)Доме Яковов, елате
и нека ходим в Господнята светлина.
6 (E)Понеже Ти си изоставил народа Си, Якововия дом,
защото те се напълниха с обичаи от изток
и станаха гадатели по облаци като филистимците,
и сключиха завет със синовете на чуждородците.
7 (F)И земята им се напълни със сребро и злато
и нямат край съкровищата им;
напълни се земята им и с коне
и нямат край колесниците им;
8 (G)земята им се напълни и с идоли;
поклониха се на делата на своите си ръце
и на онова, което самите им пръсти направиха;
9 и се наведе долният човек
и се сниши големецът;
затова недей им прощава.
10 (H)Влез в скалата и се скрий в пръстта
поради страха от Господа
и поради славата на Неговото величие.
11 (I)Гордите погледи на хората ще се унижат
и високоумието им ще се наведе;
а само Господ ще се възвиси в онзи ден.
12 Защото ще има ден, когато Господ на Силите ще бъде
против всеки горделив и надменен човек
и против всичко, което се надига (и ще се унижи),
13 (J)против всички ливански кедри, високи и издигнати,
и против всички васански дъбове,
14 (K)против всички високи планини
и против всички възвишени бърда,
15 против всяка висока кула
и против всяка укрепена стена,
16 (L)против всички тарсийски кораби
и против всичко, което е приятно да се гледа.
17 (M)Гордото поведение на човека ще се прекърши
и надменността ще се унижи;
а само Господ ще се възвиси в онзи ден.
18 И идолите съвсем ще изчезнат
19 (N)и хората ще влязат в пещерите на скалите
и в дупките на земята –
поради страха от Господа и поради славата на величието Му,
когато стане да разтърси земята.
20 (O)В онзи ден човек ще хвърли на къртиците и прилепите
сребърните и златните идоли,
които си е направил, за да им се кланя,
21 (P)за да влезе в канаристите подземия
и в пукнатините на скалите –
поради страха от Господа и поради славата на величието Му,
когато стане да разтърси земята.
22 (Q)Престанете да се надявате на човек, в чиито ноздри е лъх;
защото за какво може да се разчита на него?

2 亞摩斯的兒子以賽亞所見，有關猶大和耶路撒冷的事。
2 末後的日子，耶和華殿的山必堅立，
超乎諸山，高舉過於萬嶺；
萬國都要流歸這山。
3 必有許多民族前往，說：
「來吧，我們登耶和華的山，
到雅各 神的殿。
他必將他的道教導我們，
我們也要行他的路。」
因為教誨必出於錫安，
耶和華的言語必出於耶路撒冷。
4 他必在萬國中施行審判，
為許多民族斷定是非。
他們要將刀打成犁頭，
把槍打成鐮刀；
這國不舉刀攻擊那國，
他們也不再學習戰事。
5 雅各家啊，
來吧！讓我們在耶和華的光明中行走。
驕者必敗
6 你離棄了你的百姓雅各家，
因為他們充滿了東方的習俗[a]，
又像非利士人一樣觀星象，
並與外邦人擊掌。
7 他們的國滿了金銀，
財寶也無窮；
他們的地滿了馬匹，
戰車也無數。
8 他們的地滿了偶像；
他們跪拜自己手所造的，
就是自己手指所做的。
9 有人屈膝，
有人下跪；
所以，不要饒恕他們。
10 當進入磐石，藏在土中，
躲避耶和華的驚嚇和他威嚴的榮光。
11 到那日，眼目高傲的必降卑，
狂妄的人必屈膝；
惟獨耶和華被尊崇。
12 因萬軍之耶和華的一個日子
要臨到所有驕傲狂妄的，
臨到一切自高的，
使他們降為卑；
13 臨到黎巴嫩高大的香柏樹、
巴珊的橡樹，
14 臨到一切高山、
一切峻嶺，
15 臨到一切碉堡、
一切堅固的城牆，
16 臨到他施一切的船隻、
一切華麗的船艇。
17 人的驕傲必屈膝，
人的狂妄必降卑；
在那日，惟獨耶和華被尊崇，
18 偶像必全然廢棄。
19 耶和華興起使地大震動的時候，
人就進入石洞和土穴裏，
躲避耶和華的驚嚇和他威嚴的榮光。
20 到那日，人必將造來敬拜的金偶像、銀偶像
拋給田鼠和蝙蝠。
21 耶和華興起使地大震動的時候，
人就進入磐縫和巖隙裏，
躲避耶和華的驚嚇和他威嚴的榮光。
22 你們不要倚靠世人，
他只不過鼻孔裏有氣息，
算得了甚麼呢？

2 The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.
2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
5 O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the Lord.
6 Therefore thou hast forsaken thy people the house of Jacob, because they be replenished from the east, and are soothsayers like the Philistines, and they please themselves in the children of strangers.
7 Their land also is full of silver and gold, neither is there any end of their treasures; their land is also full of horses, neither is there any end of their chariots:
8 Their land also is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made:
9 And the mean man boweth down, and the great man humbleth himself: therefore forgive them not.
10 Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, for fear of the Lord, and for the glory of his majesty.
11 The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.
12 For the day of the Lord of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low:
13 And upon all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan,
14 And upon all the high mountains, and upon all the hills that are lifted up,
15 And upon every high tower, and upon every fenced wall,
16 And upon all the ships of Tarshish, and upon all pleasant pictures.
17 And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.
18 And the idols he shall utterly abolish.
19 And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the Lord, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.
20 In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats;
21 To go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks, for fear of the Lord, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.
22 Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of ?
