²⁹В те дни не будут уже говорить:

«Отцы ели кислый виноград,
а у детей на зубах оскомина».

³⁰Каждый будет умирать за свой грех; кто будет есть виноград незрелый, у того и будет оскомина на зубах.

³¹– Вот приходят дни, – возвещает Господь, –
когда Я заключу новый завет с домом Израиля
и с домом Иуды.

Jeremiah 31:29-31

²⁹“In those days people will no longer say,

‘The parents^(A) have eaten sour grapes,
and the children’s teeth are set on edge.’^(B)

³⁰Instead, everyone will die for their own sin;^(C) whoever eats sour grapes—their own teeth will be set on edge.

³¹“The days are coming,” declares the Lord,
“when I will make a new covenant^(D)
with the people of Israel
and with the people of Judah.
