14 Наступает особый, Судный День Господний, когда богатства, которые вы захватили, будут разделены в вашем городе. 2 Я соберу все народы сражаться против Иерусалима. Они захватят город и разрушат дома, будут насиловать женщин и половину народа узниками в плен уведут, но остальные останутся в городе. 3 Тогда Господь пойдёт войной против этих народов, и произойдёт настоящее сражение. 4 В тот день Он встанет на Елеонской горе, на холме к востоку от Иерусалима, и расколется Елеонская гора. Часть горы отойдёт к северу, а часть—к югу. Широкая долина откроется с востока на запад. 5 Вы попытаетесь убежать, потому что горная долина будет подходить к вам ближе и ближе. И вы побежите, как во время землетрясения в дни Уззии, царя Иудеи, но Господь, Бог мой, придёт со всеми святыми[a] Его.

6-7 Это будет особенный день, когда не будет ни света, ни холода, ни мороза. Одному Господу известно как, но не будет в этот день ни дня, ни ночи; и, когда обычно приходят сумерки, всё ещё будет светло. 8 В тот день из Иерусалима потечёт нескончаемым потоком вода[b], и этот поток раздвоится: часть его потечёт на восток, а часть—на запад, к Средиземному морю, и будет течь круглый год: и летом, и зимой. 9 В это время Господь будет Царём над всем миром, и люди будут поклоняться Ему как единому Господу, Чьё имя едино. 10 В эти дни вся земля вокруг Иерусалима станет как пустыня. Вся страна опустеет как пустыня от Гаваона до Риммона в Негеве. Но город Иерусалим будет весь снова отстроен: от ворот Вениамина до Первых ворот (то есть Угловых ворот), и от башни Хананела до царских винных прессов. 11 Люди поселятся в Иерусалиме, и никакой враг больше не придёт, чтобы разрушить город. Народ Иерусалима будет жить в безопасности.

12 Но Господь накажет народы, сражавшиеся против Иерусалима. В те дни Господь вселит в их сердца страх и смятение, и они будут сражаться друг против друга в рукопашном бою. Даже народ Иуды выйдет на битву против жителей Иерусалима. Но в конце концов народ Господний захватит богатства всех соседних народов: золото, серебро и одежду.

16 Некоторые из тех, кто придут сражаться против Иерусалима, выживут, и каждый год они будут приходить на поклонение Царю, Господу Всемогущему. Они придут на праздник Укрытий. 17 И если люди из какого-нибудь рода на земле не пойдут в Иерусалим на поклонение царю, Господу Всемогущему, тогда дождь не прольётся на их землю. 18 И если какой-нибудь из египетских родов не придёт на праздник Укрытий, то его постигнет та ужасная болезнь, которой Господь поразил вражеские народы. 19 Это будет наказанием Египту и другим народам, которые не придут на праздник Укрытий. 20 В эти дни всё будет принадлежать Богу, даже на конских уборах будут надписи: «Святыня Господняя». И котлы, которыми пользуются в храме Господнем, будут так же важны, как и чаши, которыми пользуются у алтаря. 21 И на всех блюдах в Иерусалиме и Иуде будет написано: «Святыня Господняя»[c]. И каждый человек, который поклоняется Господу, сможет готовить пищу и есть из этой посуды. В эти дни не будет ни одного купца[d], покупающего и продающего в храме Всемогущего Господа.

2 Я соберу все народы под Иерусалимом, чтобы воевать с ним. Город будет захвачен, дома разграблены, а женщины обесчещены. Половина горожан пойдёт в плен, но половина останется в городе.

3 Тогда Вечный выйдет и сразится с этими народами, как сражается Он в день битвы. 4 В тот день Его ноги встанут на Оливковой горе, что к востоку от Иерусалима, и Оливковая гора расколется надвое, с востока на запад, открыв огромную долину, и половина горы отодвинется на север, а половина на юг. 5 Вы побежите по этой долине между горами, потому что она протянется до Ацеля. Вы будете бежать, как бежали от землетрясения во времена Уззии, царя Иудеи.[a] И тогда явится Вечный, мой Бог, и с Ним Его святой народ[b].

6 В тот день не будет света, и погаснут небесные светила[c]. 7 Этот день будет небывалым (ведомый только Вечному): ни день, ни ночь, а когда настанет вечер, явится свет.

8 В тот день из Иерусалима потекут потоки живой воды: половина их к Мёртвому морю, а половина – к Средиземному[d]; так будет и летом, и зимой.

9 Вечный будет Царём над всей землёй. В тот день Вечный будет един, и имя Его – едино.

10 Вся эта земля, от Гевы на севере до Риммона, что к югу от Иерусалима, станет равниной. А Иерусалим будет вознесён и останется на своём месте, от ворот Вениамина до Первых ворот, до Угловых ворот, и от башни Хананила до царских виноградных давилен. 11 Он будет населён; никогда впредь его не разрушат. Иерусалим будет жить в безопасности.

12 А вот бедствие, которое Вечный нашлёт на все народы, что воевали с Иерусалимом: их плоть сгниёт, когда они будут ещё стоять на ногах; глаза их сгниют в глазницах, а языки – во рту. 13 В тот день их охватит великий ужас от Вечного. Все они схватят друг друга за руки и набросятся друг на друга. 14 Но и сама Иудея будет сражаться в Иерусалиме. Будет собрано богатство окрестных народов – золото, серебро и одежды в огромном количестве. 15 То же бедствие поразит коней и мулов, верблюдов и ослов и весь скот в их лагерях.

16 Кто уцелеет из всех народов, воевавших с Иерусалимом, тот будет из года в год приходить, чтобы поклоняться Царю, Вечному, Повелителю Сил, и отмечать праздник Шалашей[e]. 17 Если какой-нибудь народ земли не пойдёт в Иерусалим поклониться Царю, Вечному, Повелителю Сил, то у него не будет дождя. 18 Если египтяне не отправятся в путь и не явятся, то их постигнет бедствие, которым Вечный поразит народы, что не придут отмечать праздник Шалашей. 19 Так будет наказан Египет и все народы, которые не пойдут отмечать праздник Шалашей.

20 В тот день даже на бубенцах конской сбруи будет написано «Святыня Вечного». Кухонные горшки в доме Вечного будут священными, как чаши перед жертвенником. 21 Любая утварь в Иерусалиме и Иудее будет святыней Вечному, Повелителю Сил, и все, кто придёт принести жертву, будут брать и готовить в ней. В тот день в доме Вечного, Повелителя Сил, больше не будет ни одного хананея[f].

14 Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.

2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

3 Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.

4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.

6 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark:

7 But it shall be one day which shall be known to the Lord, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.

8 And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.

9 And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.

10 All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin's gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king's winepresses.

11 And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.

12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

13 And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the Lord shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.

14 And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the heathen round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance.

15 And so shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the ass, and of all the beasts that shall be in these tents, as this plague.

16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

17 And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.

18 And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the Lord will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

19 This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

20 In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses, Holiness Unto The Lord; and the pots in the Lord's house shall be like the bowls before the altar.

21 Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto the Lord of hosts: and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and seethe therein: and in that day there shall be no more the Canaanite in the house of the Lord of hosts.

The Day of the Lord

14 A day of the Lord is coming when the things of much worth taken from you will be divided among you. 2 For I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle. The city will be taken. The houses will be robbed. The women will be taken against their will. And half of the city will be taken away to a strange land. But the rest of the people will not be taken away from the city. 3 Then the Lord will go out and fight against those nations, as when He fights on a day of battle. 4 On that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, in front of Jerusalem on the east. And the Mount of Olives will be divided in two from east to west by a very large valley. Half the mountain will move toward the north and the other half toward the south. 5 You will run away by the valley of My mountains, for it will go as far as Azel. You will run away just as you did when the earth shook in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the Lord my God will come, and all the holy ones with Him. 6 On that day there will be no light. The stars of heaven will be made dark. 7 It will be a special day which is known to the Lord. It will not be day or night. For when evening comes, there will be light. 8 On that day living waters will flow out of Jerusalem. Half of them will flow toward the sea in the east. The other half will flow toward the sea in the west. They will flow in summer and in winter.

9 The Lord will be King over all the earth. On that day the Lord will be the only one, and His name the only one. 10 The whole land will be changed into a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem. But Jerusalem will rise and stay on its land from the Gate of Benjamin to the place of the First Gate, to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to where the king’s wine is made. 11 People will live in it, and there will be no more curse. The people of Jerusalem will live without fear.

12 Now this is how the Lord will punish all the people who have gone to war against Jerusalem. Their flesh will waste away while they stand on their feet. Their eyes will waste away in their faces, and their tongues will waste away in their mouths. 13 On that day the Lord will send much fear upon them. They will take hold of one another’s hand, and the hand of one will be raised against the hand of another. 14 Judah also will fight at Jerusalem. And the riches of all the nations around will be gathered, much gold and silver and clothing. 15 The same kind of punishment will come upon the horse, the mule, the camel, the donkey, and all the cattle in those camps.

The Nations Worship the King

16 Then everyone who is left of all the nations that went against Jerusalem will go each year to worship the King, the Lord of All, and to keep the Special Supper of Tents. 17 If any of the families of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of All, they will have no rain. 18 If the family of Egypt does not go up to worship, then they will have no rain. The Lord will punish them as He punishes the nations that do not go up to keep the Special Supper of Tents.

19 This will be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all the nations that do not go up to keep the Special Supper of Tents. 20 On that day, “Holy to the Lord,” will be written on the bells of the horses. And the cooking pots in the house of the Lord will be like the holy dishes in front of the altar. 21 Every cooking pot in Jerusalem and in Judah will be holy to the Lord of All. And all who come bringing gifts in worship will take some of the pots and cook in them. On that day there will no longer be one who buys and sells in the house of the Lord of All.

14 A day of the Lord(A) is coming, Jerusalem, when your possessions(B) will be plundered and divided up within your very walls.

2 I will gather all the nations(C) to Jerusalem to fight against it;(D) the city will be captured, the houses ransacked, and the women raped.(E) Half of the city will go into exile, but the rest of the people will not be taken from the city.(F) 3 Then the Lord will go out and fight(G) against those nations, as he fights on a day of battle.(H) 4 On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives,(I) east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split(J) in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south. 5 You will flee by my mountain valley, for it will extend to Azel. You will flee as you fled from the earthquake[a](K) in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the Lord my God will come,(L) and all the holy ones with him.(M)

6 On that day there will be neither sunlight(N) nor cold, frosty darkness. 7 It will be a unique(O) day—a day known only to the Lord—with no distinction between day and night.(P) When evening comes, there will be light.(Q)

8 On that day living water(R) will flow(S) out from Jerusalem, half of it east(T) to the Dead Sea and half of it west to the Mediterranean Sea, in summer and in winter.(U)

9 The Lord will be king(V) over the whole earth.(W) On that day there will be one Lord, and his name the only name.(X)

10 The whole land, from Geba(Y) to Rimmon,(Z) south of Jerusalem, will become like the Arabah. But Jerusalem will be raised up(AA) high from the Benjamin Gate(AB) to the site of the First Gate, to the Corner Gate,(AC) and from the Tower of Hananel(AD) to the royal winepresses, and will remain in its place.(AE) 11 It will be inhabited;(AF) never again will it be destroyed. Jerusalem will be secure.(AG)

12 This is the plague with which the Lord will strike(AH) all the nations that fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh will rot while they are still standing on their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths.(AI) 13 On that day people will be stricken by the Lord with great panic.(AJ) They will seize each other by the hand and attack one another.(AK) 14 Judah(AL) too will fight at Jerusalem. The wealth of all the surrounding nations will be collected(AM)—great quantities of gold and silver and clothing. 15 A similar plague(AN) will strike the horses and mules, the camels and donkeys, and all the animals in those camps.

16 Then the survivors(AO) from all the nations that have attacked Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship(AP) the King,(AQ) the Lord Almighty, and to celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles.(AR) 17 If any of the peoples of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship(AS) the King, the Lord Almighty, they will have no rain.(AT) 18 If the Egyptian people do not go up and take part, they will have no rain. The Lord[b] will bring on them the plague(AU) he inflicts on the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles.(AV) 19 This will be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles.(AW)

20 On that day holy to the Lord(AX) will be inscribed on the bells of the horses, and the cooking pots(AY) in the Lord’s house will be like the sacred bowls(AZ) in front of the altar. 21 Every pot in Jerusalem and Judah will be holy(BA) to the Lord Almighty, and all who come to sacrifice will take some of the pots and cook in them. And on that day(BB) there will no longer be a Canaanite[c](BC) in the house(BD) of the Lord Almighty.(BE)
