30 (A)Когато ти се сбъднат всички тези неща, благословенията и проклятията, които изложих пред теб, ако ти си ги припомниш сред всичките народи, между които Господ, твоят Бог, ще те пръсне,
2 (B)и се обърнеш към Господа, твоя Бог, и с цялото си сърце и с цялата си душа послушаш, ти и синовете ти, гласа Му според всичко, което днес ти заповядвам,
3 (C)тогава Господ, твоят Бог, ще те върне от плен, ще ти покаже милост и пак ще те събере от всички народи, между които Господ, твоят Бог, ще те е разпръснал.
4 (D)Ако бъдеш изгонен до небесните краища, даже оттам ще те събере Господ, твоят Бог, и оттам ще те вземе;
5 и Господ, твоят Бог, ще те въведе в земята, която бащите ти притежаваха, и ти ще я притежаваш; Той ще ти прави добро и ще те умножи повече от бащите ти.
6 (E)Господ, твоят Бог, ще обреже сърцето ти и сърцето на потомството ти, за да обичаш Господа, твоя Бог, с цялото си сърце и с цялата си душа, за да живееш.
7 И Господ, твоят Бог, ще излее всички тези проклятия върху неприятелите ти и върху онези, които те ненавиждат и те гонят.
8 А ти отново ще слушаш гласа на Господа и ще изпълняваш всичките Му заповеди, които днес ти заповядвам.
9 (F)И Господ, твоят Бог, в благостта Си ще направи така, че да изобилстваш във всичките дела на ръцете си, да изобилства плодът на утробата ти, плодът на добитъка ти и произведенията на земята ти; защото Господ пак ще се възрадва за тебе да ти прави добро, както се е възрадвал на бащите ти;
10 ако слушаш гласа на Господа, твоя Бог, и пазиш заповедите Му и наредбите Му, които са написани в тази книга на закона – ако се обърнеш към Господа, твоя Бог, с цялото си сърце и с цялата си душа.
11 (G)Понеже тази заповед, която днес ти давам, не е много трудна за тебе, нито е далеч.
12 (H)Не е на небето, за да кажеш: Кой ще се възкачи за нас на небето да ни я донесе, за да я чуем и да я изпълняваме?
13 Нито е оттатък морето, за да кажеш: Кой ще прекоси морето за нас да ни я донесе, за да я чуем и да я изпълняваме?
14 Но словото е много близо до тебе, в устата ти и в сърцето ти, за да го изпълняваш.
15 (I)Ето, днес положих пред тебе живота и доброто, смъртта и злото,
16 като заповядвам днес да обичаш Господа, твоя Бог, да ходиш в Неговите пътища и да пазиш заповедите Му, наредбите Му и законите Му, за да живееш и да се умножаваш, и да те благославя Господ, твоят Бог, в земята, в която влизаш, за да я завладееш.
17 Но ако се отвърне сърцето ти и не слушаш, а се заблудиш и се кланяш на други богове, и им служиш,
18 (J)аз ви заявявам днес, че ще загинете; няма да се продължат дните ви на земята, към която преминавате през Йордан, за да я вземете за свое притежание.
19 (K)Днес викам небето и земята за свидетели против вас, че положих пред вас живота и смъртта, благословенията и проклятията; затова изберете живота, за да живееш, ти и потомството ти;
20 (L)избери да обичаш Господа, твоя Бог, да слушаш гласа Му и да бъдеш привързан към Него (защото Господ е твоят живот и твоето дълголетие), за да живееш на земята, за която Господ се е клел на бащите ти, на Авраам, Исаак и Яков, че ще им я даде.

The Blessing of Returning to God
30 “Now (A)it shall come to pass, when (B)all these things come upon you, the blessing and the (C)curse which I have set before you, and (D)you [a]call them to mind among all the nations where the Lord your God drives you, 2 and you (E)return to the Lord your God and obey His voice, according to all that I command you today, you and your children, with all your heart and with all your soul, 3 (F)that the Lord your God will bring you back from captivity, and have compassion on you, and (G)gather you again from all the nations where the Lord your God has scattered you. 4 (H)If any of you are driven out to the farthest parts under heaven, from there the Lord your God will gather you, and from there He will bring you. 5 Then the Lord your God will bring you to the land which your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it. He will prosper you and multiply you more than your fathers. 6 And (I)the Lord your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your descendants, to love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live.
7 “Also the Lord your God will put all these (J)curses on your enemies and on those who hate you, who persecuted you. 8 And you will (K)again obey the voice of the Lord and do all His commandments which I command you today. 9 (L)The Lord your God will make you abound in all the work of your hand, in the [b]fruit of your body, in the increase of your livestock, and in the produce of your land for good. For the Lord will again (M)rejoice over you for good as He rejoiced over your fathers, 10 if you obey the voice of the Lord your God, to keep His commandments and His statutes which are written in this Book of the Law, and if you turn to the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
The Choice of Life or Death
11 “For this commandment which I command you today (N)is [c]not too mysterious for you, nor is it far off. 12 (O)It is not in heaven, that you should say, ‘Who will ascend into heaven for us and bring it to us, that we may hear it and do it?’ 13 Nor is it beyond the sea, that you should say, ‘Who will go over the sea for us and bring it to us, that we may hear it and do it?’ 14 But the word is very near you, (P)in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it.
15 “See, (Q)I have set before you today life and good, death and evil, 16 in that I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the Lord your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess. 17 But if your heart turns away so that you do not hear, and are drawn away, and worship other gods and serve them, 18 (R)I announce to you today that you shall surely perish; you shall not prolong your days in the land which you cross over the Jordan to go in and possess. 19 (S)I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that (T)I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; 20 that you may love the Lord your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your (U)life and the length of your days; and that you may dwell in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them.”
