Наредба за робите и бедните
15 (A)В края на всяка седма година да правиш опрощаване.
2 А ето правилото за опрощаване: всеки заемодател да опрости заема, който е дал на ближния си; да не го изисква от ближния си или от брат си; защото се провъзгласява опрощаване заради Господа.
3 (B)От чужденеца можеш да го изискваш; но каквото твое има в брат ти, ръката ти да го оставя.
4 (C)Обаче няма да има сиромах между вас (защото Господ ще те благославя много в земята, която Господ, твоят Бог, ти дава в наследство, за да я притежаваш),
5 (D)ако само прилежно слушаш гласа на Господа, твоя Бог, и старателно изпълняваш всички тези заповеди, които днес ти давам.
6 (E)Защото Господ, твоят Бог, ще те благослови според обещанието Си; и ще заемеш на много народи, но няма да вземеш на заем; и ще владееш над много народи, но те няма да владеят над теб.
7 (F)Ако в земята ти, която Господ, твоят Бог, ти дава, има при тебе сиромах от братята ти в някои от градовете ти, да не закоравяваш сърцето си, нито да затваряш ръката си пред бедния си брат;
8 но непременно да отваряш ръката си за него и да му даваш назаем достатъчно пари според нуждите му за каквото му е потребно.
9 (G)Внимавай да не влезе в сърцето ти подла мисъл и да си кажеш: Наближава седмата година, годината на опрощаването; и да погледнеш с лошо око на бедния си брат и да не му дадеш, и той да извика към Господа против теб, и това да ти бъде зачетено за грях.
10 (H)Непременно да му дадеш и да не ти е тежко на сърцето, когато му даваш; понеже за това Господ, твоят Бог, ще те благославя във всичките ти дела и във всичките ти начинания.
11 (I)Защото сиромасите никога няма да липсват от земята ти; затова ти заповядвам: Непременно да отваряш ръката си към бедния и към брата си в оскъдица в земята си.
12 Ако ти се продаде брат ти, евреин или еврейка, нека ти слугува шест години; а в седмата година да го освободиш от себе си.
13 И когато го освободиш от себе си, да не го изпратиш празен;
14 (J)да му подариш изобилно от стадото си, от хармана си и от лина си; както Господ, твоят Бог, те е благословил, така да му дадеш.
15 (K)Да си спомниш, че и ти беше роб в Египетската земя и че Господ, твоят Бог, те изкупи; затова Аз днес ти заповядвам това.
16 (L)Но ако той ти каже: Няма да си отида от тебе, понеже обича теб и дома ти, защото е добре при тебе,
17 тогава да вземеш шило и да промушиш ухото му върху вратата, и ще ти бъде роб завинаги. Подобно да направиш и на робинята си.
18 (M)Да не ти се види тежко, когато го изпратиш свободен от себе си; защото за шест години той е изработил двойно повече от един наемник; а Господ, твоят Бог, ще те благославя във всичко, което вършиш.
19 (N)Всички мъжки първородни, които се раждат от говедата и овцете ти, да посвещаваш на Господа, твоя Бог; да не употребиш в работа първородното на говедото си, нито да стрижеш първородните на овцете си.
20 (O)Всяка година да ги ядеш, ти и домът ти, пред Господа, твоя Бог, на мястото, което избере Господ.
21 (P)Но ако животното има някакъв недостатък, ако е куцо или сляпо, или има какъвто и да е лош недостатък, да не го принасяш жертва на Господа, твоя Бог.
22 (Q)Да го ядеш там, където живееш[a]; нечистият и чистият еднакво да го ядат, както ядат газела и елен.
23 (R)Само кръвта му да не ядеш; да я изливаш на земята като вода.

El año de remisión
15 Cada siete años harás remisión. 2 Y esta es la manera de la remisión: perdonará a su deudor todo aquel que hizo empréstito de su mano, con el cual obligó a su prójimo; no lo demandará más a su prójimo, o a su hermano, porque es pregonada la remisión de Jehová. 3 Del extranjero demandarás el reintegro; pero lo que tu hermano tuviere tuyo, lo perdonará tu mano, 4 para que así no haya en medio de ti mendigo; porque Jehová te bendecirá con abundancia en la tierra que Jehová tu Dios te da por heredad para que la tomes en posesión, 5 si escuchares fielmente la voz de Jehová tu Dios, para guardar y cumplir todos estos mandamientos que yo te ordeno hoy. 6 Ya que Jehová tu Dios te habrá bendecido, como te ha dicho, prestarás entonces a muchas naciones, mas tú no tomarás prestado; tendrás dominio sobre muchas naciones, pero sobre ti no tendrán dominio.
Préstamos a los pobres
7 Cuando haya en medio de ti menesteroso de alguno de tus hermanos en alguna de tus ciudades, en la tierra que Jehová tu Dios te da, no endurecerás tu corazón, ni cerrarás tu mano contra tu hermano pobre, 8 sino abrirás a él tu mano liberalmente, y en efecto le prestarás lo que necesite.(A) 9 Guárdate de tener en tu corazón pensamiento perverso, diciendo: Cerca está el año séptimo, el de la remisión, y mires con malos ojos a tu hermano menesteroso para no darle; porque él podrá clamar contra ti a Jehová, y se te contará por pecado. 10 Sin falta le darás, y no serás de mezquino corazón cuando le des; porque por ello te bendecirá Jehová tu Dios en todos tus hechos, y en todo lo que emprendas. 11 Porque no faltarán menesterosos en medio de la tierra;(B) por eso yo te mando, diciendo: Abrirás tu mano a tu hermano, al pobre y al menesteroso en tu tierra.

12 Si se vendiere a ti tu hermano hebreo o hebrea, y te hubiere servido seis años, al séptimo le despedirás libre. 13 Y cuando lo despidieres libre, no le enviarás con las manos vacías. 14 Le abastecerás liberalmente de tus ovejas, de tu era y de tu lagar; le darás de aquello en que Jehová te hubiere bendecido. 15 Y te acordarás de que fuiste siervo en la tierra de Egipto, y que Jehová tu Dios te rescató; por tanto yo te mando esto hoy. 16 Si él te dijere: No te dejaré; porque te ama a ti y a tu casa, y porque le va bien contigo; 17 entonces tomarás una lesna, y horadarás su oreja contra la puerta, y será tu siervo para siempre; así también harás a tu criada. 18 No te parezca duro cuando le enviares libre, pues por la mitad del costo de un jornalero te sirvió seis años; y Jehová tu Dios te bendecirá en todo cuanto hicieres.(C)
Consagración de los primogénitos machos
19 Consagrarás a Jehová tu Dios todo primogénito macho de tus vacas y de tus ovejas;(D) no te servirás del primogénito de tus vacas, ni trasquilarás el primogénito de tus ovejas. 20 Delante de Jehová tu Dios los comerás cada año, tú y tu familia, en el lugar que Jehová escogiere. 21 Y si hubiere en él defecto, si fuere ciego, o cojo, o hubiere en él cualquier falta, no lo sacrificarás a Jehová tu Dios. 22 En tus poblaciones lo comerás; el inmundo lo mismo que el limpio comerán de él, como de una gacela o de un ciervo. 23 Solamente que no comas su sangre;(E) sobre la tierra la derramarás como agua.

15 At the end of every seven years thou shalt make a release.
2 And this is the manner of the release: Every creditor that lendeth ought unto his neighbour shall release it; he shall not exact it of his neighbour, or of his brother; because it is called the Lord's release.
3 Of a foreigner thou mayest exact it again: but that which is thine with thy brother thine hand shall release;
4 Save when there shall be no poor among you; for the Lord shall greatly bless thee in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee for an inheritance to possess it:
5 Only if thou carefully hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe to do all these commandments which I command thee this day.
6 For the Lord thy God blesseth thee, as he promised thee: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, but thou shalt not borrow; and thou shalt reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over thee.
7 If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which the Lord thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine hand from thy poor brother:
8 But thou shalt open thine hand wide unto him, and shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he wanteth.
9 Beware that there be not a thought in thy wicked heart, saying, The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand; and thine eye be evil against thy poor brother, and thou givest him nought; and he cry unto the Lord against thee, and it be sin unto thee.
10 Thou shalt surely give him, and thine heart shall not be grieved when thou givest unto him: because that for this thing the Lord thy God shall bless thee in all thy works, and in all that thou puttest thine hand unto.
11 For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land.
12 And if thy brother, an Hebrew man, or an Hebrew woman, be sold unto thee, and serve thee six years; then in the seventh year thou shalt let him go free from thee.
13 And when thou sendest him out free from thee, thou shalt not let him go away empty:
14 Thou shalt furnish him liberally out of thy flock, and out of thy floor, and out of thy winepress: of that wherewith the Lord thy God hath blessed thee thou shalt give unto him.
15 And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in the land of Egypt, and the Lord thy God redeemed thee: therefore I command thee this thing to day.
16 And it shall be, if he say unto thee, I will not go away from thee; because he loveth thee and thine house, because he is well with thee;
17 Then thou shalt take an aul, and thrust it through his ear unto the door, and he shall be thy servant for ever. And also unto thy maidservant thou shalt do likewise.
18 It shall not seem hard unto thee, when thou sendest him away free from thee; for he hath been worth a double hired servant to thee, in serving thee six years: and the Lord thy God shall bless thee in all that thou doest.
19 All the firstling males that come of thy herd and of thy flock thou shalt sanctify unto the Lord thy God: thou shalt do no work with the firstling of thy bullock, nor shear the firstling of thy sheep.
20 Thou shalt eat it before the Lord thy God year by year in the place which the Lord shall choose, thou and thy household.
21 And if there be any blemish therein, as if it be lame, or blind, or have any ill blemish, thou shalt not sacrifice it unto the Lord thy God.
22 Thou shalt eat it within thy gates: the unclean and the clean person shall eat it alike, as the roebuck, and as the hart.
23 Only thou shalt not eat the blood thereof; thou shalt pour it upon the ground as water.
