За истинското поклонение на Бога
12 (A)Ето наредбите и законите, за които трябва да внимавате, за да ги изпълнявате през цялото време, колкото живеете на света, в земята, която Господ, Бог на бащите ти, ти дава да притежаваш:
2 (B)Да разрушите всички места, където племената, които ще завладеете, са служили на боговете си, по високите планини, по хълмовете и под всяко зелено дърво;
3 (C)и да съсипете жертвениците им, да строшите стълбовете им, да изгорите с огън идолите им, да съсечете изваяните образи на боговете им и да изличите имената им от онова място.
4 (D)А спрямо Господа, вашия Бог, да не постъпвате така;
5 (E)а да търсите мястото, което Господ, вашият Бог, избере между всичките ви племена, за да настани там Името Си, да бъде жилището Му, и там да идете;
6 (F)там да принасяте всеизгарянията си, жертвите си, десятъците си, приносите, които издигаш с ръцете си, оброците си, доброволните си приноси и първородните от говедата си и от овцете си;
7 (G)и там, пред Господа, вашия Бог, да ядете; и да се веселите, вие и домовете ви, във всичките си начинания и в каквото те е благословил Господ, твоят Бог.
8 (H)Да не правите никак, както ние днес правим тук – всеки каквото му се вижда за добро.
9 Защото още не сте дошли в почивката и в наследството, което Господ, вашият Бог, ви дава.
10 (I)Но когато преминете Йордан и се заселите в земята, която Господ, вашият Бог, ви дава да наследите, и Той ви успокои от всички неприятели около вас, и живеете безопасно,
11 (J)тогава на мястото, което Господ, вашият Бог, избере, за да настани Името Си, там принасяйте всичко, което ви заповядвам: всеизгарянията си, жертвите си, десятъците си и приносите, които издигаш с ръцете си, и всички подбрани от теб оброци, които сте обрекли на Господа.
12 (K)И да се веселите пред Господа, вашия Бог, вие, синовете ви, дъщерите ви, слугите ви, слугините ви и левитът, който е вътре зад портите ви (защото той няма дял, нито наследство с вас).
13 (L)Внимавай да не би да принасяш всеизгарянията си на което и да било място, което виждаш;
14 (M)а на мястото, което Господ избере в едно от племената ти, там да принасяш всеизгарянията си и там да вършиш всичко, което ти заповядвам.
15 (N)Може обаче да колиш и да ядеш месо във всичките си жилища според желанието ти, според колкото Господ, твоят Бог, те е благословил; нечистият и чистият могат да ядат от него като от газела и като от елен.
16 (O)Само кръвта да не ядете; да я изливате на земята като вода.
17 А не бива да ядеш в жилищата си десятъка от житото си или от виното си, или от маслиновото масло, или първородните от говедата си, или от овцете си, или кой да било от оброците, които си обрекъл, или доброволните си приноси, или приносите, които издигаш с ръцете си;
18 (P)а пред Господа, твоя Бог, да ги ядеш – на мястото, което Господ, твоят Бог, избере: ти, синът ти, дъщеря ти, слугата ти, слугинята ти и левитът, който е вътре зад портите ти; и да се веселиш пред Господа, твоя Бог, във всичко, приготвено от ръката ти[a].
19 (Q)Внимавай да не пренебрегваш левита, докато живееш в земята си.
20 (R)Когато Господ, твоят Бог, разшири пределите ти, според както ти е обещал, а ти кажеш: Ще ям месо, защото желаеш да ядеш месо, то може да ядеш месо колкото искаш.
21 Ако е много далеч от тебе мястото, което Господ, твоят Бог, избере, за да настани Името Си там, тогава да колиш от говедата и от овцете, които Господ ти е дал, според както ти заповядах, и да ядеш в жилището си колкото желаеш.
22 (S)Както ядеш от газела и елен, така да ядеш и това месо; нечистият и чистият могат еднакво да ядат от него.
23 (T)Само строго да внимаваш да не ядеш от кръвта, защото кръвта е животът, и не бива да ядеш живота[b] с месото.
24 Да не я ядеш, а да я изливаш на земята като вода.
25 (U)Да не я ядеш, за да бъде добре на теб и на децата ти след тебе, когато вършиш онова, което е право пред Господа.
26 (V)Само от посветеното и оброците си да взимаш, за да отиваш на мястото, което избере Господ,
27 (W)и да принасяш всеизгарянията си, месото и кръвта върху жертвеника на Господа, твоя Бог. Кръвта на жертвите ти да се излива върху жертвеника на Господа, твоя Бог, а месото им да ядеш.
28 (X)Внимавай и слушай всички тези думи, които ти заповядвам, за да бъде добре на теб и на децата ти след тебе до века, когато вършиш онова, което е добро и право пред Господа, твоя Бог.
29 (Y)Когато Господ, твоят Бог, изтреби пред тебе народите на земята, където ти отиваш да ги завладееш, и ти ги завладееш и се заселиш в земята им,
30 (Z)внимавай за себе си да не се впримчиш да ги последваш, когато бъдат изтребени пред теб; и да не разпитваш за боговете им, като казваш: Как служат тези народи на боговете си? – за да направя и аз така.
31 (AA)Да не постъпваш така спрямо Господа, твоя Бог; защото те са извършили за боговете си всяка мерзост, която Господ мрази; понеже за боговете си са изгаряли с огън и синовете си, и дъщерите си.
32 (AB)Внимавайте да изпълнявате всичко, което ви заповядвам; да не прибавяте към него, нито да отнемате от него.

12 Estos son los estatutos y decretos que cuidaréis de poner por obra en la tierra que Jehová el Dios de tus padres te ha dado para que tomes posesión de ella, todos los días que vosotros viviereis sobre la tierra. 2 Destruiréis enteramente todos los lugares donde las naciones que vosotros heredaréis sirvieron a sus dioses, sobre los montes altos, y sobre los collados, y debajo de todo árbol frondoso. 3 Derribaréis sus altares, y quebraréis sus estatuas, y sus imágenes de Asera consumiréis con fuego; y destruiréis las esculturas de sus dioses, y raeréis su nombre de aquel lugar.(A) 4 No haréis así a Jehová vuestro Dios, 5 sino que el lugar que Jehová vuestro Dios escogiere de entre todas vuestras tribus, para poner allí su nombre para su habitación, ese buscaréis, y allá iréis. 6 Y allí llevaréis vuestros holocaustos, vuestros sacrificios, vuestros diezmos, y la ofrenda elevada de vuestras manos, vuestros votos, vuestras ofrendas voluntarias, y las primicias de vuestras vacas y de vuestras ovejas; 7 y comeréis allí delante de Jehová vuestro Dios, y os alegraréis, vosotros y vuestras familias, en toda obra de vuestras manos en la cual Jehová tu Dios te hubiere bendecido. 8 No haréis como todo lo que hacemos nosotros aquí ahora, cada uno lo que bien le parece, 9 porque hasta ahora no habéis entrado al reposo y a la heredad que os da Jehová vuestro Dios. 10 Mas pasaréis el Jordán, y habitaréis en la tierra que Jehová vuestro Dios os hace heredar; y él os dará reposo de todos vuestros enemigos alrededor, y habitaréis seguros. 11 Y al lugar que Jehová vuestro Dios escogiere para poner en él su nombre, allí llevaréis todas las cosas que yo os mando: vuestros holocaustos, vuestros sacrificios, vuestros diezmos, las ofrendas elevadas de vuestras manos, y todo lo escogido de los votos que hubiereis prometido a Jehová. 12 Y os alegraréis delante de Jehová vuestro Dios, vosotros, vuestros hijos, vuestras hijas, vuestros siervos y vuestras siervas, y el levita que habite en vuestras poblaciones; por cuanto no tiene parte ni heredad con vosotros. 13 Cuídate de no ofrecer tus holocaustos en cualquier lugar que vieres; 14 sino que en el lugar que Jehová escogiere, en una de tus tribus, allí ofrecerás tus holocaustos, y allí harás todo lo que yo te mando.
15 Con todo, podrás matar y comer carne en todas tus poblaciones conforme a tu deseo, según la bendición que Jehová tu Dios te haya dado; el inmundo y el limpio la podrá comer, como la de gacela o de ciervo. 16 Solamente que sangre no comeréis;(B) sobre la tierra la derramaréis como agua. 17 Ni comerás en tus poblaciones el diezmo de tu grano, de tu vino o de tu aceite, ni las primicias de tus vacas, ni de tus ovejas, ni los votos que prometieres, ni las ofrendas voluntarias, ni las ofrendas elevadas de tus manos; 18 sino que delante de Jehová tu Dios las comerás, en el lugar que Jehová tu Dios hubiere escogido, tú, tu hijo, tu hija, tu siervo, tu sierva, y el levita que habita en tus poblaciones; te alegrarás delante de Jehová tu Dios de toda la obra de tus manos. 19 Ten cuidado de no desamparar al levita en todos tus días sobre la tierra.
20 Cuando Jehová tu Dios ensanchare tu territorio, como él te ha dicho, y tú dijeres: Comeré carne, porque deseaste comerla, conforme a lo que deseaste podrás comer. 21 Si estuviere lejos de ti el lugar que Jehová tu Dios escogiere para poner allí su nombre, podrás matar de tus vacas y de tus ovejas que Jehová te hubiere dado, como te he mandado yo, y comerás en tus puertas según todo lo que deseares. 22 Lo mismo que se come la gacela y el ciervo, así las podrás comer; el inmundo y el limpio podrán comer también de ellas. 23 Solamente que te mantengas firme en no comer sangre; porque la sangre es la vida, y no comerás la vida juntamente con su carne. 24 No la comerás; en tierra la derramarás como agua.(C) 25 No comerás de ella, para que te vaya bien a ti y a tus hijos después de ti, cuando hicieres lo recto ante los ojos de Jehová. 26 Pero las cosas que hubieres consagrado, y tus votos, las tomarás, y vendrás con ellas al lugar que Jehová hubiere escogido; 27 y ofrecerás tus holocaustos, la carne y la sangre, sobre el altar de Jehová tu Dios; y la sangre de tus sacrificios será derramada sobre el altar de Jehová tu Dios, y podrás comer la carne. 28 Guarda y escucha todas estas palabras que yo te mando, para que haciendo lo bueno y lo recto ante los ojos de Jehová tu Dios, te vaya bien a ti y a tus hijos después de ti para siempre.
Advertencias contra la idolatría
29 Cuando Jehová tu Dios haya destruido delante de ti las naciones adonde tú vas para poseerlas, y las heredes, y habites en su tierra, 30 guárdate que no tropieces yendo en pos de ellas, después que sean destruidas delante de ti; no preguntes acerca de sus dioses, diciendo: De la manera que servían aquellas naciones a sus dioses, yo también les serviré. 31 No harás así a Jehová tu Dios; porque toda cosa abominable que Jehová aborrece, hicieron ellos a sus dioses; pues aun a sus hijos y a sus hijas quemaban en el fuego a sus dioses.
32 Cuidarás de hacer todo lo que yo te mando; no añadirás a ello, ni de ello quitarás.(D)

12 These are the statutes and judgments, which ye shall observe to do in the land, which the Lord God of thy fathers giveth thee to possess it, all the days that ye live upon the earth.
2 Ye shall utterly destroy all the places, wherein the nations which ye shall possess served their gods, upon the high mountains, and upon the hills, and under every green tree:
3 And ye shall overthrow their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their groves with fire; and ye shall hew down the graven images of their gods, and destroy the names of them out of that place.
4 Ye shall not do so unto the Lord your God.
5 But unto the place which the Lord your God shall choose out of all your tribes to put his name there, even unto his habitation shall ye seek, and thither thou shalt come:
6 And thither ye shall bring your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, and your tithes, and heave offerings of your hand, and your vows, and your freewill offerings, and the firstlings of your herds and of your flocks:
7 And there ye shall eat before the Lord your God, and ye shall rejoice in all that ye put your hand unto, ye and your households, wherein the Lord thy God hath blessed thee.
8 Ye shall not do after all the things that we do here this day, every man whatsoever is right in his own eyes.
9 For ye are not as yet come to the rest and to the inheritance, which the Lord your God giveth you.
10 But when ye go over Jordan, and dwell in the land which the Lord your God giveth you to inherit, and when he giveth you rest from all your enemies round about, so that ye dwell in safety;
11 Then there shall be a place which the Lord your God shall choose to cause his name to dwell there; thither shall ye bring all that I command you; your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and the heave offering of your hand, and all your choice vows which ye vow unto the Lord:
12 And ye shall rejoice before the Lord your God, ye, and your sons, and your daughters, and your menservants, and your maidservants, and the Levite that is within your gates; forasmuch as he hath no part nor inheritance with you.
13 Take heed to thyself that thou offer not thy burnt offerings in every place that thou seest:
14 But in the place which the Lord shall choose in one of thy tribes, there thou shalt offer thy burnt offerings, and there thou shalt do all that I command thee.
15 Notwithstanding thou mayest kill and eat flesh in all thy gates, whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, according to the blessing of the Lord thy God which he hath given thee: the unclean and the clean may eat thereof, as of the roebuck, and as of the hart.
16 Only ye shall not eat the blood; ye shall pour it upon the earth as water.
17 Thou mayest not eat within thy gates the tithe of thy corn, or of thy wine, or of thy oil, or the firstlings of thy herds or of thy flock, nor any of thy vows which thou vowest, nor thy freewill offerings, or heave offering of thine hand:
18 But thou must eat them before the Lord thy God in the place which the Lord thy God shall choose, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite that is within thy gates: and thou shalt rejoice before the Lord thy God in all that thou puttest thine hands unto.
19 Take heed to thyself that thou forsake not the Levite as long as thou livest upon the earth.
20 When the Lord thy God shall enlarge thy border, as he hath promised thee, and thou shalt say, I will eat flesh, because thy soul longeth to eat flesh; thou mayest eat flesh, whatsoever thy soul lusteth after.
21 If the place which the Lord thy God hath chosen to put his name there be too far from thee, then thou shalt kill of thy herd and of thy flock, which the Lord hath given thee, as I have commanded thee, and thou shalt eat in thy gates whatsoever thy soul lusteth after.
22 Even as the roebuck and the hart is eaten, so thou shalt eat them: the unclean and the clean shall eat of them alike.
23 Only be sure that thou eat not the blood: for the blood is the life; and thou mayest not eat the life with the flesh.
24 Thou shalt not eat it; thou shalt pour it upon the earth as water.
25 Thou shalt not eat it; that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, when thou shalt do that which is right in the sight of the Lord.
26 Only thy holy things which thou hast, and thy vows, thou shalt take, and go unto the place which the Lord shall choose:
27 And thou shalt offer thy burnt offerings, the flesh and the blood, upon the altar of the Lord thy God: and the blood of thy sacrifices shall be poured out upon the altar of the Lord thy God, and thou shalt eat the flesh.
28 Observe and hear all these words which I command thee, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee for ever, when thou doest that which is good and right in the sight of the Lord thy God.
29 When the Lord thy God shall cut off the nations from before thee, whither thou goest to possess them, and thou succeedest them, and dwellest in their land;
30 Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise.
31 Thou shalt not do so unto the Lord thy God: for every abomination to the Lord, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods.
32 What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.
