Обещание за мир и благоденствие в Йерусалим
8 И словото от Господа на Силите дойде към мен и каза:
2 (A)Така казва Господ на Силите: Ревнувам много силно за Сион, дори ревнувам за него с голяма ярост.
3 (B)Така казва Господ: Върнах се към Сион и ще обитавам сред Йерусалим; и Йерусалим ще се нарече град на Истината и хълм на Господа на Силите, Святия хълм.
4 (C)Така казва Господ на Силите: Още ще стоят старци и баби в йерусалимските улици, всеки с тояга в ръката си поради дълбоката си старост.
5 И улиците на града ще бъдат пълни с момчета и момичета, играещи по пътищата му.
6 (D)Така казва Господ на Силите: Ако това се види чудно в очите на останалите от този народ в тези дни, ще се види ли чудно и в Моите очи?
7 (E)Така казва Господ на Силите: Ето, Аз ще отърва народа Си от източната страна и от западната страна;
8 (F)и като ги доведа, те ще се заселят сред Йерусалим; и ще бъдат Мой народ и Аз ще бъда техен Бог в истина и правда.
9 (G)Така казва Господ на Силите: Укрепете ръцете си, вие, които в тези дни слушате тези думи чрез устата на пророците, които пророкуваха в деня, когато бе положена основата на дома на Господа на Силите, т. е. на храма, за да се построи.
10 (H)Защото преди онези дни нямаше надница за човека или наем за животно, нито мир за пътуващия[a] поради противника; защото настроих всички хора – всеки против ближния му.
11 Но сега няма да се отнасям към останалите от този народ, както в предишните дни, казва Господ на Силите.
12 (I)Защото ще има семе, както във време на мир, лозата ще дава плода си, земята ще дава плодовете си и небето ще дава росата си; и на останалите от този народ ще дам да наследят всички тези неща.
13 (J)И както бяхте предмет на проклятие между народите, доме Юдов и доме Израилев, така ще ви избавя, че да станете предмет на благословение. Не бойте се; нека се укрепят ръцете ви.
14 (K)Защото така казва Господ на Силите: Както намислих да ви сторя зло, когато бащите ви Ме разгневиха, казва Господ на Силите, и не се разкаях,
15 така пак в тези дни намислих да сторя добро на Йерусалим и на Юдовия дом; не бойте се.
16 (L)Ето какво трябва да правите: Говорете истина всеки на ближния си; и отсъдете в портите си присъдата на истина и мир.
17 (M)Никой от вас да не измисли зло в сърцето си против ближния си и не обичайте лъжлива клетва; защото всички тези са неща, които мразя, казва Господ.
18 И словото от Господа на Силите дойде към мен и каза:
19 (N)Така казва Господ на Силите: Постът в четвъртия, постът в петия, постът в седмия и постът в десетия месец ще станат за Юдовия дом радост и веселие и весели празници; затова обичайте истината и мира.
20 Така казва Господ на Силите: Също ще има време, когато ще дойдат хора и жителите на много градове;
21 (O)и жителите на един град ще отидат в друг и ще кажат: Нека отидем незабавно да искаме Господнето благоволение и да потърсим Господа на Силите. Ще отида и аз.
22 (P)Да! Много племена и силни народи ще дойдат, за да търсят Господа на Силите в Йерусалим и да искат Господнето благоволение.
23 (Q)Така казва Господ на Силите: В онези дни десет мъже от всичките езици на народите ще хванат – да!, – ще хванат полата на един, който е юдеин, и ще кажат: Ще идем с вас, защото чухме, че Бог бил с вас.

The Lord Promises to Bless Jerusalem
8 The word of the Lord Almighty came to me.
2 This is what the Lord Almighty says: “I am very jealous(A) for Zion; I am burning with jealousy for her.”
3 This is what the Lord says: “I will return(B) to Zion(C) and dwell in Jerusalem.(D) Then Jerusalem will be called the Faithful City,(E) and the mountain(F) of the Lord Almighty will be called the Holy Mountain.(G)”
4 This is what the Lord Almighty says: “Once again men and women of ripe old age will sit in the streets of Jerusalem,(H) each of them with cane in hand because of their age. 5 The city streets will be filled with boys and girls playing there.(I)”
6 This is what the Lord Almighty says: “It may seem marvelous to the remnant of this people at that time,(J) but will it seem marvelous to me?(K)” declares the Lord Almighty.
7 This is what the Lord Almighty says: “I will save my people from the countries of the east and the west.(L) 8 I will bring them back(M) to live(N) in Jerusalem; they will be my people,(O) and I will be faithful and righteous to them as their God.(P)”
9 This is what the Lord Almighty says: “Now hear these words, ‘Let your hands be strong(Q) so that the temple may be built.’ This is also what the prophets(R) said who were present when the foundation(S) was laid for the house of the Lord Almighty. 10 Before that time there were no wages(T) for people or hire for animals. No one could go about their business safely(U) because of their enemies, since I had turned everyone against their neighbor. 11 But now I will not deal with the remnant of this people as I did in the past,”(V) declares the Lord Almighty.
12 “The seed will grow well, the vine will yield its fruit,(W) the ground will produce its crops,(X) and the heavens will drop their dew.(Y) I will give all these things as an inheritance(Z) to the remnant of this people.(AA) 13 Just as you, Judah and Israel, have been a curse[a](AB) among the nations, so I will save(AC) you, and you will be a blessing.[b](AD) Do not be afraid,(AE) but let your hands be strong.(AF)”
14 This is what the Lord Almighty says: “Just as I had determined to bring disaster(AG) on you and showed no pity when your ancestors angered me,” says the Lord Almighty, 15 “so now I have determined to do good(AH) again to Jerusalem and Judah.(AI) Do not be afraid. 16 These are the things you are to do: Speak the truth(AJ) to each other, and render true and sound judgment(AK) in your courts;(AL) 17 do not plot evil(AM) against each other, and do not love to swear falsely.(AN) I hate all this,” declares the Lord.
18 The word of the Lord Almighty came to me.
19 This is what the Lord Almighty says: “The fasts of the fourth,(AO) fifth,(AP) seventh(AQ) and tenth(AR) months will become joyful(AS) and glad occasions and happy festivals for Judah. Therefore love truth(AT) and peace.”
20 This is what the Lord Almighty says: “Many peoples and the inhabitants of many cities will yet come, 21 and the inhabitants of one city will go to another and say, ‘Let us go at once to entreat(AU) the Lord and seek(AV) the Lord Almighty. I myself am going.’ 22 And many peoples and powerful nations will come to Jerusalem to seek the Lord Almighty and to entreat him.”(AW)
23 This is what the Lord Almighty says: “In those days ten people from all languages and nations will take firm hold of one Jew by the hem of his robe and say, ‘Let us go with you, because we have heard that God is with you.’”(AX)

2 (B)И първият отиде и изля чашата си на земята; и се отвори лоша и люта рана по онези човеци, които носеха белега на звяра и които се покланяха на неговия образ.
3 (C)Вторият ангел изля чашата си в морето; и то стана кръв като на мъртвец и всяка жива твар в морето умря.
4 (D)Третият ангел изля чашата си в реките и във водните извори; и водата им стана кръв.
5 (E)И чух ангела на водите да казва: Праведен си Ти, Пресвяти, Който си и Който си бил, за това, че си отсъдил така;
6 (F)понеже те проляха кръвта на светии и на пророци, то и Ти си им дал да пият кръв. Те заслужават това.
7 (G)И чух друг от олтара да казва: Да, Господи Боже всемогъщи, истинни и праведни са Твоите присъди.
8 (H)Четвъртият ангел изля чашата си върху слънцето, на което бе позволено да изгаря човеците с огън.
9 (I)И голяма жега обгори човеците; и те похулиха името на Бога, Който има власт над тези язви, и не се покаяха да Му отдадат слава.
10 (J)Петият ангел изля чашата си върху престола на звяра; и царството му потъмня и човеците хапеха езиците си от болки,
11 (K)и похулиха небесния Бог поради болките и раните си, и не се покаяха за делата си.
12 (L)Шестият ангел изля чашата си върху голямата река Ефрат; и пресъхна водата ѝ, за да се приготви пътят на царете, които идват от изток.
13 (M)И видях да излизат от устата на змея и от устата на звяра, и от устата на лъжепророка три нечисти духа, подобни на жаби;
14 (N)защото те са духове на бесове, които, като вършат знамения, отиват при царете на цялата земя, за да ги събират за войната във великия ден на всемогъщия Бог.
15 (O)(Ето, ида като крадец. Блажен онзи, който бди и пази дрехите си, за да не ходи гол и да не гледат срамотите му.)
16 (P)И ги събраха на мястото, което на еврейски се нарича Армагедон[a].
17 (Q)Тогава седмият ангел изля чашата си във въздуха; и от храма излезе силен глас от престола и каза: Свърши се.
18 (R)И произлязоха светкавици и гласове, и гръмове, и стана силен трус, небивал откакто съществуват човеци на земята, такъв трус, толкова силен.
19 (S)А великият град се раздели на три части и градовете на народите паднаха; и Бог си спомни за великия Вавилон, да му даде чашата с виното от яростния Си гняв.
20 (T)И всеки остров побегна и планините не се намериха.
21 (U)И едър град, тежък около един талант, падаше от небето върху човеците и човеците похулиха Бога поради напастта на града, защото тази напаст беше твърде голяма.

The Seven Bowls of God’s Wrath
16 Then I heard a loud voice from the temple(A) saying to the seven angels,(B) “Go, pour out the seven bowls of God’s wrath on the earth.”(C)
2 The first angel went and poured out his bowl on the land,(D) and ugly, festering sores(E) broke out on the people who had the mark of the beast and worshiped its image.(F)
3 The second angel poured out his bowl on the sea, and it turned into blood like that of a dead person, and every living thing in the sea died.(G)
4 The third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs of water,(H) and they became blood.(I) 5 Then I heard the angel in charge of the waters say:
“You are just in these judgments,(J) O Holy One,(K)
you who are and who were;(L)
6 for they have shed the blood of your holy people and your prophets,(M)
and you have given them blood to drink(N) as they deserve.”
7 And I heard the altar(O) respond:
8 The fourth angel(R) poured out his bowl on the sun,(S) and the sun was allowed to scorch people with fire.(T) 9 They were seared by the intense heat and they cursed the name of God,(U) who had control over these plagues, but they refused to repent(V) and glorify him.(W)
10 The fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast,(X) and its kingdom was plunged into darkness.(Y) People gnawed their tongues in agony 11 and cursed(Z) the God of heaven(AA) because of their pains and their sores,(AB) but they refused to repent of what they had done.(AC)
12 The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates,(AD) and its water was dried up to prepare the way(AE) for the kings from the East.(AF) 13 Then I saw three impure spirits(AG) that looked like frogs;(AH) they came out of the mouth of the dragon,(AI) out of the mouth of the beast(AJ) and out of the mouth of the false prophet.(AK) 14 They are demonic spirits(AL) that perform signs,(AM) and they go out to the kings of the whole world,(AN) to gather them for the battle(AO) on the great day(AP) of God Almighty.
15 “Look, I come like a thief!(AQ) Blessed is the one who stays awake(AR) and remains clothed, so as not to go naked and be shamefully exposed.”(AS)
16 Then they gathered the kings together(AT) to the place that in Hebrew(AU) is called Armageddon.(AV)
17 The seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air,(AW) and out of the temple(AX) came a loud voice(AY) from the throne, saying, “It is done!”(AZ) 18 Then there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder(BA) and a severe earthquake.(BB) No earthquake like it has ever occurred since mankind has been on earth,(BC) so tremendous was the quake. 19 The great city(BD) split into three parts, and the cities of the nations collapsed. God remembered(BE) Babylon the Great(BF) and gave her the cup filled with the wine of the fury of his wrath.(BG) 20 Every island fled away and the mountains could not be found.(BH) 21 From the sky huge hailstones,(BI) each weighing about a hundred pounds,[a] fell on people. And they cursed God(BJ) on account of the plague of hail,(BK) because the plague was so terrible.

3 Lord, what are human beings(F) that you care for them,
mere mortals that you think of them?
4 They are like a breath;(G)
their days are like a fleeting shadow.(H)
5 Part your heavens,(I) Lord, and come down;(J)
touch the mountains, so that they smoke.(K)
6 Send forth lightning(L) and scatter(M) the enemy;
shoot your arrows(N) and rout them.
