13 Sasamsamin ang kanilang kayamanan,
at sisirain ang kanilang mga bahay.
Magtatayo sila ng mga bahay ngunit hindi nila matitirhan;
magtatanim sila ng mga ubas ngunit hindi sila makakatikim ng alak nito.”
14 Malapit na ang dakilang araw ni Yahweh,
at ito'y mabilis na dumarating.
Kapaitan ang dulot ng araw na iyon;
maging ang matatapang ay iiyak nang malakas.
15 Iyon ay araw ng poot, ligalig at dalamhati,
araw ng pagkasira at pagkawasak,
araw ng kadiliman at kalungkutan,
araw ng maitim at makakapal na ulap.

13 Their wealth will be plundered,(A)
their houses demolished.
Though they build houses,
they will not live in them;
though they plant vineyards,
they will not drink the wine.”(B)
14 The great day of the Lord(C) is near(D)—
near and coming quickly.
The cry on the day of the Lord is bitter;
the Mighty Warrior shouts his battle cry.
15 That day will be a day of wrath—
a day of distress and anguish,
a day of trouble and ruin,
a day of darkness(E) and gloom,
a day of clouds and blackness(F)—
