¹⁸ You will open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light and from Satan’s control to God’s. Then they will receive forgiveness for their sins and a share among God’s people who are made holy by believing in me.’

¹⁶ The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.

¹⁷ If we are his children, we are also God’s heirs. If we share in Christ’s suffering in order to share his glory, we are heirs together with him.

¹¹ God also decided ahead of time to choose us through Christ according to his plan, which makes everything work the way he intends.
