Psalm 85[a]
For the director of music. Of the Sons of Korah. A psalm.
1 You, Lord, showed favor to your land;
you restored the fortunes(A) of Jacob.
2 You forgave(B) the iniquity(C) of your people
and covered all their sins.[b]
3 You set aside all your wrath(D)
and turned from your fierce anger.(E)
4 Restore(F) us again, God our Savior,(G)
and put away your displeasure toward us.
5 Will you be angry with us forever?(H)
Will you prolong your anger through all generations?
6 Will you not revive(I) us again,
that your people may rejoice(J) in you?
7 Show us your unfailing love,(K) Lord,
and grant us your salvation.(L)
8 I will listen to what God the Lord says;
he promises peace(M) to his people, his faithful servants—
but let them not turn to folly.(N)
9 Surely his salvation(O) is near those who fear him,
that his glory(P) may dwell in our land.
10 Love and faithfulness(Q) meet together;
righteousness(R) and peace kiss each other.
11 Faithfulness springs forth from the earth,
and righteousness(S) looks down from heaven.
12 The Lord will indeed give what is good,(T)
and our land will yield(U) its harvest.
13 Righteousness goes before him
and prepares the way for his steps.

Turn Us Back, O God
For the choir director. Of the sons of Korah. A Psalm.
85 O Yahweh, You showed (A)favor to Your land;
You [a](B)returned the fortunes of Jacob.
2 You (C)forgave the iniquity of Your people;
You (D)covered all their sin. [b]Selah.
3 You (E)withdrew all Your fury;
You (F)turned back from Your burning anger.
4 (G)Turn us back, O God of our salvation,
And (H)cause Your vexation toward us to cease.
5 Will (I)You be angry with us forever?
Will You prolong Your anger from generation to generation?
6 Will You not Yourself (J)return to [c]revive us,
That Your people may (K)be glad in You?
7 Show us, O Yahweh, Your lovingkindness,
And (L)give us Your salvation.
8 Let me hear what the God, Yahweh, will speak;
For He will (M)speak peace to His people, [d]to His holy ones;
But let them not (N)turn back to [e]folly.
9 Surely (O)His salvation is near to those who [f]fear Him,
That (P)glory may dwell in our land.
10 (Q)Lovingkindness and [g]truth have met together;
(R)Righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
11 [h]Truth (S)springs up from the earth,
And righteousness looks down from heaven.
12 Indeed, (T)Yahweh will give what is good,
And our (U)land will yield its produce.
13 (V)Righteousness will go before Him
And will establish the way of His steps.

85 Panginoon, ikaw ay naging lingap sa iyong lupain: iyong ibinalik ang nangabihag ng Jacob.
2 Iyong pinatawad ang kasamaan ng iyong bayan, iyong tinakpan ang lahat nilang kasalanan, (Selah)
3 Iyong pinawi ang buong poot mo: iyong tinalikdan ang kabangisan ng iyong galit.
4 Ibalik mo kami, Oh Dios ng aming kaligtasan, at papaglikatin mo ang iyong galit sa amin.
5 Magagalit ka ba sa amin magpakailan man? Iyo bang ipagpapatuloy ang iyong galit sa lahat ng sali't saling lahi?
6 Hindi mo ba kami bubuhayin uli: upang ang iyong bayan ay magalak sa iyo?
7 Ipakita mo sa amin ang iyong kagandahang-loob, Oh Panginoon, at ipagkaloob mo sa amin ang iyong pagliligtas.
8 Aking pakikinggan kung ano ang sasalitain ng Dios na Panginoon: sapagka't siya'y magsasalita ng kapayapaan sa kaniyang bayan at sa kaniyang mga banal: nguni't huwag silang manumbalik uli sa kaululan.
9 Tunay na ang kaniyang pagliligtas ay malapit sa kanila na nangatatakot sa kaniya; upang ang kaluwalhatian ay tumahan sa aming lupain.
10 Kaawaan at katotohanan ay nagsalubong; katuwiran at kapayapaan ay naghalikan.
11 Katotohanan ay bumubukal sa lupa; at ang katuwiran ay tumungo mula sa langit.
12 Oo, ibibigay ng Panginoon ang mabuti; at ang ating lupain ay maguunlad ng kaniyang bunga.
13 Katuwira'y mangunguna sa kaniya; at gagawing daan ang kaniyang mga bakas.
