Yahweh Is My Shepherd

A Psalm of David.

23 Yahweh is my (A)shepherd,
I [a]shall (B)not want.
2 He makes me lie down in (C)green pastures;
He (D)leads me beside [b](E)quiet waters.
3 He (F)restores my soul;
He (G)guides me in the [c](H)paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.

4 Even though I (I)walk through the [d]valley of the shadow of death,
I (J)fear no [e]evil, for (K)You are with me;
Your (L)rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
5 You (M)prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You [f]have (N)anointed my head with oil;
My (O)cup overflows.
6 [g]Surely (P)goodness and lovingkindness will [h]pursue me all the days of my life,
And I will [i](Q)dwell in the house of Yahweh [j]forever.

e me leva para junto de riachos tranquilos.
3 Renova minhas forças
e me guia pelos caminhos da justiça;
assim, ele honra o seu nome.
4 Mesmo quando eu andar
pelo escuro vale da morte,[a]
não terei medo,
pois tu estás ao meu lado.
Tua vara e teu cajado
me protegem.

5 Preparas um banquete para mim
na presença de meus inimigos.
Unges minha cabeça com óleo;
meu cálice transborda.
6 Certamente a bondade e o amor me seguirão
todos os dias de minha vida,
e viverei na casa do Senhor
para sempre.

He guides me(E) along the right paths(F)
    for his name’s sake.(G)
4 Even though I walk
    through the darkest valley,[a](H)
I will fear no evil,(I)
    for you are with me;(J)
your rod and your staff,
    they comfort me.

5 You prepare a table(K) before me
    in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;(L)
    my cup(M) overflows.
6 Surely your goodness and love(N) will follow me
    all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
    forever.
