Proverbs 4:5-9

5 (A)Get wisdom; get (B)insight;
do not forget, and do not turn away from the words of my mouth.
6 Do not forsake her, and she will keep you;
(C)love her, and she will guard you.
7 (D)The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom,
and whatever you get, get (E)insight.
8 Prize her highly, and she will exalt you;
she will (F)honor you (G)if you embrace her.
9 She will place on your head (H)a graceful garland;
she will bestow on you a beautiful crown.”

5 Get wisdom,(A) get understanding;
do not forget my words or turn away from them.
6 Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you;(B)
love her, and she will watch over you.(C)
7 The beginning of wisdom is this: Get[a] wisdom.

8 Cherish her, and she will exalt you;

18 But (A)the path of the righteous is like (B)the light of dawn,
which shines (C)brighter and brighter until (D)full day.
19 (E)The way of the wicked is like deep (F)darkness;
they do not know over what they (G)stumble.
20 (H)My son, be attentive to my words;
incline your ear to my sayings.
21 (I)Let them not escape from your sight;
(J)keep them within your heart.
22 For they are (K)life to those who find them,
and healing to all their[a] flesh.
23 Keep your heart with all vigilance,
for (L)from it flow (M)the springs of life.
24 Put away from you (N)crooked speech,
and put (O)devious talk far from you.
25 (P)Let your eyes look directly forward,
and your gaze be straight before you.
26 (Q)Ponder[b] the path of your feet;
(R)then all your ways will be sure.
27 (S)Do not swerve to the right or to the left;
turn your foot away from evil.

and be steadfast in all your ways.
