Proverbs 14:33-15:4
New King James Version
33 Wisdom rests in the heart of him who has understanding,
But (A)what is in the heart of fools is made known.
35 (C)The king’s favor is toward a wise servant,
But his wrath is against him who causes shame.
A Soft Answer Turns Away Wrath
15 A (D)soft answer turns away wrath,
But (E)a harsh word stirs up anger.
2 The tongue of the wise uses knowledge rightly,
(F)But the mouth of fools pours forth foolishness.
3 (G)The eyes of the Lord are in every place,
Keeping watch on the evil and the good.
4 A [b]wholesome tongue is a tree of life,
But perverseness in it breaks the spirit.
