Jaarlijkse feesten
29 ‘Het Feest van de Trompetten moet elk jaar op de eerste dag van de zevende maand worden gevierd, er zal een heilige samenkomst ter verootmoediging voor het hele volk worden gehouden en er mag geen zwaar werk worden verricht. 2 Die dag moet u een brandoffer offeren, bestaande uit een jonge stier, een ram en zeven eenjarige lammeren, allemaal zonder gebreken. De Here zal deze offers op prijs stellen en er genoegen aan beleven. 3,4 Bij de stier zal een spijsoffer van 6,6 liter fijn meel, gemengd met olie, worden geofferd; bij de ram 4,4 liter en bij elk van de zeven lammeren 2,2 liter fijn meel. 5 Daarnaast moet nog een bok worden geofferd als zondoffer om verzoening voor u te doen. 6 Deze speciale offers staan los van de normale maandelijkse brandoffers op die dag en ook van de dagelijkse brandoffers die moeten worden geofferd met de respectievelijke spijs- en drankoffers, zoals die zijn voorgeschreven. 7 Tien dagen later moet opnieuw een bijeenkomst voor het hele volk worden gehouden. Dit zal een dag van inkeer en zelfvernedering zijn voor de Here en er mag niet worden gewerkt. 8 Die dag zult u de Here een brandoffer brengen, dat Hem aangenaam zal zijn, bestaande uit een jonge stier, een ram en zeven eenjarige lammeren: 9,10 alle zonder gebreken en de bijbehorende spijsoffers. Met de stier moet 6,6 liter fijn meel, vermengd met olie, worden geofferd, 4,4 liter met de ram en 2,2 liter met elk van de zeven lammeren. 11 U moet ook een bok als zondoffer offeren. Dat is een extra offer naast het zondoffer dat op deze Verzoendag wordt gebracht en naast de regelmatige dagelijkse brandoffers met de begeleidende spijsoffers en drankoffers.
12 Vijf dagen hierna moet opnieuw een bijeenkomst voor het hele volk worden gehouden en die dag mag geen zwaar werk worden verricht. Het is het begin van een zeven dagen durend feest voor de Here. 13 Het speciale brandoffer, dat u die dag zult brengen en dat de Here zeer aangenaam zal zijn, moet bestaan uit dertien jonge stieren, twee rammen, veertien eenjarige lammeren, alle zonder gebreken 14 en de bijbehorende spijsoffers; 6,6 liter fijn meel, vermengd met olie voor elk van de dertien jonge stieren, 4,4 liter voor elk van de twee rammen en 15 2,2 liter voor elk van de veertien lammeren. 16 Als zondoffer moet bovendien een bok worden geofferd, naast het dagelijkse brandoffer met het bijbehorende spijs- en drankoffer.
17 Op de tweede dag van dit zevendaagse feest moet u twaalf jonge stieren, twee rammen, veertien eenjarige lammeren, alle zonder gebreken, 18 met de bijbehorende spijs- en drankoffers offeren. 19 Ook deze dag moet, naast het dagelijkse brandoffer met de bijbehorende spijs- en drankoffers, een bok als zondoffer worden geofferd.
20 Op de derde dag van het feest moet u elf jonge stieren, twee rammen, veertien eenjarige lammeren, alle zonder gebreken 21 en de voorgeschreven spijs- en drankoffers daarbij offeren. 22 En naast het dagelijkse brandoffer moet u een bok als zondoffer offeren met de bijbehorende spijs- en drankoffers.
23 Op de vierde dag van het feest moet u tien jonge stieren, twee rammen, veertien eenjarige lammeren, 24 alle zonder gebreken en de bijbehorende spijs- en drankoffers bij elk van deze dieren offeren. 25 Naast de dagelijkse offers moet u een bok als zondoffer offeren.
26,27 Op de vijfde dag van het feest offert u negen jonge stieren, twee rammen, veertien eenjarige lammeren, alle zonder gebreken en de bijbehorende spijs- en drankoffers. 28 Offer ook een bok als zondoffer, met de bijbehorende spijs- en drankoffers, naast de gewone dagelijkse offers.
29 Op de zesde dag van het feest moet u het volgende offer brengen: acht jonge stieren, twee rammen, veertien eenjarige lammeren, alle zonder gebreken, 30 samen met de normale spijs- en drankoffers. 31 Naast de gewone dagelijkse offers moet u een bok als zondoffer offeren, samen met de bijbehorende spijs- en drankoffers.
32 Op de zevende dag van het feest moet u zeven jonge stieren, twee rammen, veertien eenjarige lammeren, alle zonder gebreken 33 en de bijbehorende spijs- en drankoffers offeren. 34 Offer bovendien een bok als zondoffer, samen met de gewone spijs- en drankoffers. Dit offer staat apart van de geregelde dagelijkse offers.
35 Op de achtste dag moet u het volk weer bijeen roepen voor een samenkomst, die dag mag u geen zwaar werk verrichten. 36 Breng een brandoffer—dat is een lieflijke reuk voor de Here—van een jonge stier, een ram en zeven eenjarige lammeren, alle zonder gebreken 37 en de gewone spijs- en drankoffers. 38 Offer ook een bok als zondoffer, samen met de bijbehorende spijs- en drankoffers. Dit offer staat apart van de dagelijkse offers. 39 Dit zijn verplichte offers die op uw jaarlijkse feesten voor de Here moeten worden gebracht. Zij staan apart van de offers en giften die u aanbiedt als inlossing van een belofte of uit vrije wil of van brandoffers, spijsoffers, drankoffers en vredeoffers.’
40 En Mozes gaf al deze instructies aan het volk Israël door, zoals de Here hem had opgedragen.

29 “‘On the first day of the seventh month hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work.(B) It is a day for you to sound the trumpets. 2 As an aroma pleasing to the Lord,(C) offer a burnt offering(D) of one young bull, one ram and seven male lambs a year old,(E) all without defect.(F) 3 With the bull offer a grain offering(G) of three-tenths of an ephah[a] of the finest flour mixed with olive oil; with the ram, two-tenths[b]; 4 and with each of the seven lambs, one-tenth.[c](H) 5 Include one male goat(I) as a sin offering[d] to make atonement for you. 6 These are in addition to the monthly(J) and daily burnt offerings(K) with their grain offerings(L) and drink offerings(M) as specified. They are food offerings presented to the Lord, a pleasing aroma.(N)

39 “‘In addition to what you vow(AU) and your freewill offerings,(AV) offer these to the Lord at your appointed festivals:(AW) your burnt offerings,(AX) grain offerings, drink offerings and fellowship offerings.(AY)’”
40 Moses told the Israelites all that the Lord commanded him.[f]
