Matthew 6:9-13

⁹^(A)Pray then like this:

^(B)“Our Father in heaven,
^(C)hallowed be ^(D)your name.^[a]
¹⁰^(E)Your kingdom come,
^(F)your will be done,^[b]
    ^(G)on earth as it is in heaven.
¹¹^(H)Give us ^(I)this day our daily bread,^[c]
¹²and forgive us our debts,
    as we also have forgiven our debtors.
¹³And ^(J)lead us not into temptation,
    but ^(K)deliver us from ^(L)evil.^[d]

¹²^(A)Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive ^(B)the crown of life, ^(C)which God has promised to those who love him. ¹³Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God,” for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one. ¹⁴But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. ¹⁵Then desire ^(D)when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and ^(E)sin when it is fully grown brings forth death.
