¹²και τη πρωτη ημερα των αζυμων οτε το πασχα εθυον λεγουσιν αυτω οι μαθηται αυτου που θελεις απελθοντες ετοιμασωμεν ινα φαγης το πασχα

¹³και αποστελλει δυο των μαθητων αυτου και λεγει αυτοις υπαγετε εις την πολιν και απαντησει υμιν ανθρωπος κεραμιον υδατος βασταζων ακολουθησατε αυτω

¹⁴και οπου εαν εισελθη ειπατε τω οικοδεσποτη οτι ο διδασκαλος λεγει που εστιν το καταλυμα οπου το πασχα μετα των μαθητων μου φαγω

¹⁵και αυτος υμιν δειξει ανωγεον μεγα εστρωμενον ετοιμον εκει ετοιμασατε ημιν

¹⁶και εξηλθον οι μαθηται αυτου και ηλθον εις την πολιν και ευρον καθως ειπεν αυτοις και ητοιμασαν το πασχα

¹⁷και οψιας γενομενης ερχεται μετα των δωδεκα

¹⁸και ανακειμενων αυτων και εσθιοντων ειπεν ο ιησους αμην λεγω υμιν οτι εις εξ υμων παραδωσει με ο εσθιων μετ εμου

¹⁹οι δε ηρξαντο λυπεισθαι και λεγειν αυτω εις καθ εις μητι εγω και αλλος μητι εγω

²⁰ο δε αποκριθεις ειπεν αυτοις εις εκ των δωδεκα ο εμβαπτομενος μετ εμου εις το τρυβλιον

²¹ο μεν υιος του ανθρωπου υπαγει καθως γεγραπται περι αυτου ουαι δε τω ανθρωπω εκεινω δι ου ο υιος του ανθρωπου παραδιδοται καλον ην αυτω ει ουκ εγεννηθη ο ανθρωπος εκεινος

²²και εσθιοντων αυτων λαβων ο ιησους αρτον ευλογησας εκλασεν και εδωκεν αυτοις και ειπεν λαβετε φαγετε τουτο εστιν το σωμα μου

²³και λαβων το ποτηριον ευχαριστησας εδωκεν αυτοις και επιον εξ αυτου παντες

²⁴και ειπεν αυτοις τουτο εστιν το αιμα μου το της καινης διαθηκης το περι πολλων εκχυνομενον

²⁵αμην λεγω υμιν οτι ουκετι ου μη πιω εκ του γεννηματος της αμπελου εως της ημερας εκεινης οταν αυτο πινω καινον εν τη βασιλεια του θεου

²⁶και υμνησαντες εξηλθον εις το ορος των ελαιων

Mark 14:12-26

¹²And the first day of the unleavened food, when they were killing the passover, his disciples say to him, `Where wilt thou, [that,] having gone, we may prepare, that thou mayest eat the passover?'

¹³And he sendeth forth two of his disciples, and saith to them, `Go ye away to the city, and there shall meet you a man bearing a pitcher of water, follow him;

¹⁴and wherever he may go in, say ye to the master of the house -- The Teacher saith, Where is the guest-chamber, where the passover, with my disciples, I may eat?

¹⁵and he will shew you a large upper room, furnished, prepared -- there make ready for us.'

¹⁶And his disciples went forth, and came to the city, and found as he said to them, and they made ready the passover.

¹⁷And evening having come, he cometh with the twelve,

¹⁸and as they are reclining, and eating, Jesus said, `Verily I say to you -- one of you, who is eating with me -- shall deliver me up.'

¹⁹And they began to be sorrowful, and to say to him, one by one, `Is it I?' and another, `Is it I?'

²⁰And he answering said to them, `One of the twelve who is dipping with me in the dish;

²¹the Son of Man doth indeed go, as it hath been written concerning him, but wo to that man through whom the Son of Man is delivered up; good were it to him if that man had not been born.'

²²And as they are eating, Jesus having taken bread, having blessed, brake, and gave to them, and said, `Take, eat; this is my body.'

²³And having taken the cup, having given thanks, he gave to them, and they drank of it -- all;

²⁴and he said to them, `This is my blood of the new covenant, which for many is being poured out;

²⁵verily I say to you, that no more may I drink of the produce of the vine till that day when I may drink it new in the reign of God.'

²⁶And having sung an hymn, they went forth to the mount of the Olives,

The Last Passover

¹²^(A)On the first day of ^[a]^(B)Unleavened Bread, when ^[b]the Passover lamb was being ^(C)sacrificed, His disciples *said to Him, “Where do You want us to go and prepare for You to eat the Passover?” ¹³And He *sent two of His disciples and *said to them, “Go into the city, and a man carrying a pitcher of water will meet you; follow him; ¹⁴and wherever he enters, say to the owner of the house, ‘The Teacher says, “Where is My ^(D)guest room in which I may eat the Passover with My disciples?”’ ¹⁵And he himself will show you a large upstairs room furnished and ready; prepare for us there.” ¹⁶The disciples left and came to the city, and found everything just as He had told them; and they prepared the Passover.

¹⁷^(E)When it was evening He *came with the twelve. ¹⁸And as they were reclining at the table and eating, Jesus said, “Truly I say to you that one of you will ^[c]betray Me—^[d]one who is eating with Me.” ¹⁹They began to be grieved and to say to Him one by one, “Surely not I?” ²⁰But He said to them, “It is one of the twelve, the one who dips bread with Me in the bowl. ²¹For the Son of Man is going away just as it is written about Him; but woe to that man ^[e]by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been good ^[f]for that man if he had not been born.”

The Lord’s Supper

²²^(F)While they were eating, He took some bread, and ^[g]after a ^(G)blessing He broke it, and gave it to them, and said, “Take it; this is My body.” ²³And when He had taken a cup and given thanks, He gave it to them, and they all drank from it. ²⁴And He said to them, “This is My ^(H)blood of the ^(I)covenant, which is being poured out for many. ²⁵Truly I say to you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine again, until that day when I drink it, new, in the kingdom of God.”
