A tíz szűz
25 "Akkor hasonló lesz a mennyek országa a tíz szűzhöz, akik fogták lámpásukat, és kimentek a vőlegény fogadására.
2 Öt közülük balga volt, öt pedig okos.
3 A balgák ugyanis amikor magukhoz vették lámpásukat, nem vittek magukkal olajat,
4 az okosak viszont lámpásukkal együtt olajat is vittek korsóikban.
5 Mivel pedig a vőlegény késett, mindnyájan elálmosodtak, és elaludtak.
6 Éjfélkor aztán kiáltás hangzott: Íme, a vőlegény! Jöjjetek a fogadására!
7 Ekkor felébredtek a szüzek mind, és rendbe hozták lámpásukat.
8 A balgák így szóltak az okosakhoz: Adjatok nekünk az olajotokból, mert lámpásunk kialszik.
9 Az okosak így válaszoltak: Hátha nem lesz elég nekünk is meg nektek is: menjetek inkább a kereskedőkhöz, és vegyetek magatoknak.
10 Amíg azok távol voltak vásárolni, megjött a vőlegény, és akik készen voltak, bementek vele a menyegzőre. Azután bezárták az ajtót.
11 Később megérkezett a többi szűz is, és így szóltak: Uram, uram, nyiss ajtót nekünk!
12 Ő azonban így válaszolt: Bizony, mondom nektek, nem ismerlek titeket."
13 "Vigyázzatok tehát, mert sem a napot, sem az órát nem tudjátok!"
A talentumok(A)
14 "Mert úgy van ez, mint amikor egy idegenbe készülő ember hívatta szolgáit, és átadta nekik vagyonát.
15 Az egyiknek adott öt talentumot, a másiknak kettőt, a harmadiknak pedig egyet, kinek-kinek képessége szerint, és elment idegenbe.
16 Az, aki az öt talentumot kapta, azonnal elindult, vállalkozásba fogott velük, és nyert másik ötöt.
17 Ugyanígy az is, aki a kettőt kapta, nyert másik kettőt.
18 Aki pedig az egyet kapta, elment, gödröt ásott a földbe, és elrejtette ura pénzét.
19 Hosszú idő múlva aztán megjött ezeknek a szolgáknak az ura, és számadást tartott velük.
20 Eljött az, aki az öt talentumot kapta, odavitte a másik öt talentumot, és így szólt: Uram, öt talentumot adtál át nekem: nézd, másik öt talentumot nyertem.
21 Ura így szólt hozzá: Jól van, jó és hű szolgám, a kevésen hű voltál, sokat bízok rád ezután, menj be urad ünnepi lakomájára!
22 Odament az is, aki a két talentumot kapta, és ezt mondta: Uram, két talentumot adtál át nekem: nézd, másik két talentumot nyertem.
23 Ura így szólt hozzá: Jól van, jó és hű szolgám, a kevésen hű voltál, sokat bízok rád ezután, menj be urad ünnepi lakomájára!
24 Odament hozzá az is, aki az egy talentumot kapta, és ezt mondta: Uram, tudtam, hogy kérlelhetetlen ember vagy, aki ott is aratsz, ahol nem vetettél, és onnan is gyűjtesz, ahová nem szórtál.
25 Félelmemben elmentem tehát, és elástam a talentumodat a földbe: nézd, itt van, ami a tied.
26 Ura így válaszolt neki: Te, gonosz és rest szolga, tudtad, hogy ott is aratok, ahol nem vetettem, és onnan is gyűjtök, ahova nem szórtam?
27 Ezért el kellett volna vinned a pénzemet a pénzváltókhoz, és amikor megjöttem, kamattal kaptam volna vissza azt, ami az enyém.
28 Vegyétek el tőle a talentumot, és adjátok annak, akinek tíz talentuma van!
29 Mert mindenkinek, akinek van, adatik, és bővelkedni fog; attól pedig, akinek nincs, még az is elvétetik, amije van.
30 A haszontalan szolgát pedig vessétek ki a külső sötétségre: ott lesz majd sírás és fogcsikorgatás."

31 "Amikor pedig az Emberfia eljön az ő dicsőségében, és vele az angyalok mind, akkor odaül dicsősége trónjára.
32 Összegyűjtenek eléje minden népet, ő pedig elválasztja őket egymástól, ahogyan a pásztor elválasztja a juhokat a kecskéktől.
33 A juhokat jobb keze felől, a kecskéket pedig bal keze felől állítja."

35 Mert éheztem, és ennem adtatok, szomjaztam, és innom adtatok, jövevény voltam, és befogadtatok,
36 mezítelen voltam, és felruháztatok, beteg voltam, és meglátogattatok, börtönben voltam, és eljöttetek hozzám.
37 Akkor így válaszolnak neki az igazak: Uram, mikor láttunk téged éhezni, hogy enned adtunk volna, vagy szomjazni, hogy innod adtunk volna?
38 Mikor láttunk jövevénynek, hogy befogadtunk volna, vagy mezítelennek, hogy felruháztunk volna?
39 Mikor láttunk betegen vagy börtönben, hogy elmentünk volna hozzád?
40 A király így felel majd nekik: Bizony, mondom néktek, amikor megtettétek ezeket akárcsak eggyel is a legkisebb atyámfiai közül, velem tettétek meg."
41 "Akkor szól a bal keze felől állókhoz is: Menjetek előlem, átkozottak, az ördögnek és angyalainak elkészített örök tűzre.
42 Mert éheztem, és nem adtatok ennem, szomjaztam, és nem adtatok innom,
43 jövevény voltam, és nem fogadtatok be, mezítelen voltam, és nem ruháztatok fel, beteg voltam, börtönben voltam, és nem látogattatok meg.
44 Akkor ezek is így válaszolnak neki: Uram, mikor láttunk téged éhezni vagy szomjazni, jövevénynek vagy mezítelennek, betegen vagy börtönben, amikor nem szolgáltunk neked?
45 Akkor így felel nekik: Bizony, mondom néktek, amikor nem tettétek meg ezeket eggyel a legkisebbek közül, velem nem tettétek meg.
46 És ezek elmennek az örök büntetésre, az igazak pedig az örök életre."

25 “那时，天国就像十个伴娘提着灯去迎接新郎， 2 其中五个是糊涂的，五个是聪明的。 3 五个糊涂的只顾拿着灯，却不预备油； 4 那些聪明的不但拿着灯，还用器皿预备了足够的油。 5 新郎迟迟未到，她们等得困倦，便打盹睡着了。
6 “到了半夜，忽然听见有人喊道，‘新郎来了！出来迎接吧！’ 7 伴娘们醒来，把灯点亮。 8 糊涂的伴娘对聪明的伴娘说，‘请给我们一些油吧，因为我们的灯快要灭了！’
9 “聪明的伴娘回答说，‘不行，我们的油不够大家用的，你们去油店买吧！’
10 “当糊涂的伴娘去买油的时候，新郎来了。那些预备好的伴娘跟他一同进去参加婚宴，门就关了。 11 后来，其他伴娘回来了，喊道，‘主啊！主啊！请给我们开门吧！’
12 “新郎却说，‘我实在告诉你们，我不认识你们。’
13 “所以，你们要警醒，因为你们不知道我回来的日子和时辰。
才干的比喻

26 “主人说，‘你这又可恶又懒惰的奴仆！既然你知道我没有播种的地方也要收割，没有撒种的地方也要收获， 27 就应该把钱存入钱庄，等我回来时，可以连本带利还给我。’

末日的审判

Parable of Ten Virgins
25 “Then (A)the kingdom of heaven will be comparable to ten virgins, who took their (B)lamps and went out to meet the groom. 2 Five of them were foolish, and five were (C)prudent. 3 For when the foolish took their lamps, they did not take extra oil with them; 4 but the (D)prudent ones took oil in flasks with their lamps. 5 Now while the groom was delaying, they all became drowsy and began to sleep. 6 But at midnight [a]there finally was a shout: ‘Behold, the groom! Come out to meet him.’ 7 Then all those virgins got up and trimmed their lamps. 8 But the foolish virgins said to the prudent ones, ‘Give us some of your oil, because our lamps are going out.’ 9 However, the (E)prudent ones answered, ‘No, there most certainly would not be enough for us and you too; go instead to the merchants and buy some for yourselves.’ 10 But while they were [b]on their way to buy the oil, the groom came, and those who were (F)ready went in with him to (G)the wedding feast; and (H)the door was shut. 11 Yet later, the other virgins also came, saying, ‘(I)Lord, lord, open up for us.’ 12 But he answered, ‘Truly I say to you, I do not know you.’ 13 (J)Be on the alert then, because you do not know the day nor the hour.
Parable of the Talents
14 “(K)For it is just like a man (L)about to go on a journey, who called his own slaves and entrusted his possessions to them. 15 To one he gave five [c](M)talents, to another, two, and to another, one, each according to his own ability; and he (N)went on his journey. 16 The one who had received the five (O)talents immediately went and did business with them, and earned five more talents. 17 In the same way the one who had received the two talents earned two more. 18 But he who received the one talent went away and dug a hole in the ground, and hid his [d]master’s money.
19 “Now after a long time the master of those slaves *came and *(P)settled accounts with them. 20 The one who had received the five (Q)talents came up and brought five more talents, saying, ‘Master, you entrusted five talents to me. See, I have earned five more talents.’ 21 His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and (R)faithful slave. You were faithful with a few things, I will (S)put you in charge of many things; enter the joy of your [e]master.’
22 “Also the one who had received the two (T)talents came up and said, ‘Master, you entrusted two talents to me. See, I have earned two more talents.’ 23 His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and (U)faithful slave. You were faithful with a few things, I will put you in charge of many things; enter the joy of your master.’
24 “Now the one who had received the one (V)talent also came up and said, ‘Master, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you did not sow, and gathering where you did not scatter seed. 25 And I was afraid, so I went away and hid your talent in the ground. See, you still have what is yours.’
26 “But his master answered and said to him, ‘You [f]worthless, lazy slave! Did you know that I reap where I did not sow, and gather where I did not scatter seed? 27 Then you ought to have [g]put my money in the bank, and [h]on my arrival I would have received my money back with interest. 28 Therefore: take the talent away from him, and give it to the one who has the ten talents.’
29 “(W)For to everyone who has, more shall be given, and he will have an abundance; but from the one who does not have, even what he does have shall be taken away. 30 And throw the worthless slave into (X)the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
The Judgment
31 “But when (Y)the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then (Z)He will sit on His glorious throne. 32 And all the nations will be (AA)gathered before Him; and He will separate them from one another, (AB)just as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats; 33 and He will put the sheep (AC)on His right, but the goats (AD)on the left.
34 “Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed of My Father, (AE)inherit the kingdom prepared for you (AF)from the foundation of the world. 35 For (AG)I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; (AH)I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; 36 (AI)naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you (AJ)visited Me; (AK)I was in prison, and you came to Me.’ 37 Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink? 38 And when did we see You as a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? 39 And when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40 And (AL)the King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, (AM)to the extent that you did it for one of the least of these brothers or sisters of Mine, you did it for Me.’
41 “Then He will also say to those on His left, ‘(AN)Depart from Me, you accursed people, into the (AO)eternal fire which has been prepared for (AP)the devil and his angels; 42 for I was hungry, and you gave Me nothing to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me nothing to drink; 43 I was a stranger, and you did not invite Me in; naked, and you did not clothe Me; sick, and in prison, and you did not visit Me.’ 44 Then they themselves also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, or thirsty, or as a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not [i]take care of You?’ 45 Then He will answer them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did not do it for one of the least of these, you did not do it for Me, either.’ 46 These will go away into (AQ)eternal punishment, but the righteous into (AR)eternal life.”
