²⁹ But ^(A)she was greatly troubled at the saying, and tried to discern what sort of greeting this might be.

⁴ And he stared at him in terror and said, “What is it, Lord?” And he said to him, “Your prayers and your alms ^(A)have ascended ^(B)as a memorial before God.

¹² And Zechariah was troubled when he saw him, and ^(A)fear fell upon him.

¹⁷ Now while Peter was inwardly perplexed as to what ^(A)the vision that he had seen might mean, behold, ^(B)the men who were sent by Cornelius, having made inquiry for Simon's house, stood at the gate

⁶⁶ and all who heard them ^(A)laid them up in their hearts, saying, “What then will this child be?” For ^(B)the hand of the Lord was with him.

⁵ And ^(A)entering the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, ^(B)dressed in ^(C)a white robe, and ^(D)they were alarmed. ⁶ And he said to them, ^(E)“Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen; he is not here. See the place where they laid him.

⁴⁹ but when they saw him walking on the sea they thought it was a ghost, and cried out, ⁵⁰ for they all saw him and ^(A)were terrified. But immediately he spoke to them and said, ^(B)“Take heart; it is I. ^(C)Do not be afraid.”

^20 (A)As for your donkeys that were lost three days ago, do not set your mind on them, for they have been found. And for whom is all that is desirable in Israel? Is it not for you and for all your father's house?” ²¹ Saul answered, “Am I not a Benjaminite, ^(B)from the least of the tribes of Israel? ^(C)And is not my clan the humblest of all the clans of the tribe of Benjamin? Why then have you spoken to me in this way?”
