7 And he said, `Go. wash your eyes in that water hole called Siloam.' (Siloam means Sent.) The man went and washed his eyes. After that, he was able to see.
8 His neighbours and other people had seen him when he was blind. They said, `Is not this the same man who used to sit here and beg?'
9 Some people said, `Yes, this is the same man.' Others said, `He is like that man.' But the man himself said, `I am that man.'

7 “Go,” he told him, “wash in the Pool of Siloam”(A) (this word means “Sent”). So the man went and washed, and came home seeing.(B)
8 His neighbors and those who had formerly seen him begging asked, “Isn’t this the same man who used to sit and beg?”(C) 9 Some claimed that he was.
Others said, “No, he only looks like him.”
But he himself insisted, “I am the man.”
