Hebrews 13:13-17

New King James Version

¹³Therefore let us go forth to Him, outside the camp, bearing ^(A)His reproach. ¹⁴For here we have no continuing city, but we seek the one to come. ¹⁵^(B)Therefore by Him let us continually offer ^(C)the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, ^(D)the fruit of our lips, ^[a]giving thanks to His name. ¹⁶^(E)But do not forget to do good and to share, for ^(F)with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

¹⁷^(G)Obey those who ^[b]rule over you, and be submissive, for ^(H)they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you.

¹⁵through him, then, we may offer up a sacrifice of praise always to God, that is, the fruit of lips, giving thanks to His name;

¹⁶and of doing good, and of fellowship, be not forgetful, for with such sacrifices God is well-pleased.

¹⁷Be obedient to those leading you, and be subject, for these do watch for your souls, as about to give account, that with joy they may do this, and not sighing, for this [is] unprofitable to you.
