5 Dyma lyfr cenedlaethau Adda: yn y dydd y creodd Duw ddyn, ar lun Duw y gwnaeth efe ef. 2 Yn wryw ac yn fenyw y creodd efe hwynt: ac efe a’u bendithiodd hwynt, ac a alwodd eu henw hwynt Adda, ar y dydd y crewyd hwynt.
3 Ac Adda a fu fyw ddeng mlynedd ar hugain a chant, ac a genhedlodd fab ar ei lun a’i ddelw ei hun, ac a alwodd ei enw ef Seth. 4 A dyddiau Adda, wedi iddo genhedlu Seth, oedd wyth gan mlynedd, ac efe a genhedlodd feibion a merched. 5 A holl ddyddiau Adda, y rhai y bu efe fyw, oedd naw can mlynedd a deng mlynedd ar hugain; ac efe a fu farw.
6 Seth hefyd a fu fyw bum mlynedd a chan mlynedd, ac a genhedlodd Enos. 7 A Seth a fu fyw wedi iddo genhedlu Enos, saith mlynedd ac wyth gan mlynedd, ac a genhedlodd feibion a merched. 8 A holl ddyddiau Seth oedd ddeuddeng mlynedd a naw can mlynedd; ac efe a fu farw.
9 Ac Enos a fu fyw ddeng mlynedd a phedwar ugain, ac a genhedlodd Cenan. 10 Ac Enos a fu fyw wedi iddo genhedlu Cenan, bymtheng mlynedd ac wyth gan mlynedd, ac a genhedlodd feibion a merched. 11 A holl ddyddiau Enos oedd bum mlynedd a naw can mlynedd; ac efe a fu farw.
12 Cenan hefyd a fu fyw ddeng mlynedd a thrigain, ac a genhedlodd Mahalaleel. 13 A bu Cenan fyw wedi iddo genhedlu Mahalaleel ddeugain mlynedd ac wyth gan mlynedd, ac a genhedlodd feibion a merched. 14 A holl ddyddiau Cenan oedd ddeng mlynedd a naw can mlynedd; ac efe a fu farw.
15 A Mahalaleel a fu fyw bum mlynedd a thrigain mlynedd, ac a genhedlodd Jered. 16 A Mahalaleel a fu fyw wedi iddo genhedlu Jered, ddeng mlynedd ar hugain ac wyth gan mlynedd, ac a genhedlodd feibion a merched. 17 A holl ddyddiau Mahalaleel oedd bymtheng mlynedd a phedwar ugain ac wyth gan mlynedd; ac efe a fu farw.
18 A Jered a fu fyw ddwy flynedd a thrigain a chan mlynedd, ac a genhedlodd Enoch. 19 A Jered a fu fyw wedi iddo genhedlu Enoch wyth gan mlynedd, ac a genhedlodd feibion a merched. 20 A holl ddyddiau Jered oedd ddwy flynedd a thrigain a naw can mlynedd; ac efe a fu farw.
21 Enoch hefyd a fu fyw bum mlynedd a thrigain, ac a genhedlodd Methwsela. 22 Ac Enoch a rodiodd gyda Duw wedi iddo genhedlu Methwsela, dri chant o flynyddoedd, ac a genhedlodd feibion a merched. 23 A holl ddyddiau Enoch oedd bum mlynedd a thrigain a thri chant o flynyddoedd. 24 A rhodiodd Enoch gyda Duw, ac ni welwyd ef; canys Duw a’i cymerodd ef.
25 Methwsela hefyd a fu fyw saith mlynedd a phedwar ugain a chant, ac a genhedlodd Lamech. 26 A Methwsela a fu fyw wedi iddo genhedlu Lamech, ddwy flynedd a phedwar ugain a saith gan mlynedd, ac a genhedlodd feibion a merched. 27 A holl ddyddiau Methwsela oedd naw mlynedd a thrigain a naw can mlynedd; ac efe a fu farw.
28 Lamech hefyd a fu fyw ddwy flynedd a phedwar ugain a chan mlynedd, ac a genhedlodd fab; 29 Ac a alwodd ei enw ef Noa, gan ddywedyd, Hwn a’n cysura ni am ein gwaith, a llafur ein dwylo, oherwydd y ddaear yr hon a felltigodd yr Arglwydd. 30 A Lamech a fu fyw wedi iddo genhedlu Noa, bymtheng mlynedd a phedwar ugain a phum can mlynedd, ac a genhedlodd feibion a merched. 31 A holl ddyddiau Lamech oedd ddwy flynedd ar bymtheg a thrigain a saith gan mlynedd; ac efe a fu farw. 32 A Noa ydoedd fab pum can mlwydd; a Noa a genhedlodd Sem, Cham, a Jaffeth.

From Adam to Noah
5 This is the written account(A) of Adam’s family line.(B)
When God created mankind, he made them in the likeness of God.(C) 2 He created them(D) male and female(E) and blessed them. And he named them “Mankind”[a] when they were created.
3 When Adam had lived 130 years, he had a son in his own likeness, in his own image;(F) and he named him Seth.(G) 4 After Seth was born, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters. 5 Altogether, Adam lived a total of 930 years, and then he died.(H)
6 When Seth had lived 105 years, he became the father[b] of Enosh.(I) 7 After he became the father of Enosh, Seth lived 807 years and had other sons and daughters. 8 Altogether, Seth lived a total of 912 years, and then he died.
9 When Enosh had lived 90 years, he became the father of Kenan.(J) 10 After he became the father of Kenan, Enosh lived 815 years and had other sons and daughters. 11 Altogether, Enosh lived a total of 905 years, and then he died.
12 When Kenan had lived 70 years, he became the father of Mahalalel.(K) 13 After he became the father of Mahalalel, Kenan lived 840 years and had other sons and daughters. 14 Altogether, Kenan lived a total of 910 years, and then he died.
15 When Mahalalel had lived 65 years, he became the father of Jared.(L) 16 After he became the father of Jared, Mahalalel lived 830 years and had other sons and daughters. 17 Altogether, Mahalalel lived a total of 895 years, and then he died.
18 When Jared had lived 162 years, he became the father of Enoch.(M) 19 After he became the father of Enoch, Jared lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters. 20 Altogether, Jared lived a total of 962 years, and then he died.
21 When Enoch had lived 65 years, he became the father of Methuselah.(N) 22 After he became the father of Methuselah, Enoch walked faithfully with God(O) 300 years and had other sons and daughters. 23 Altogether, Enoch lived a total of 365 years. 24 Enoch walked faithfully with God;(P) then he was no more, because God took him away.(Q)
25 When Methuselah had lived 187 years, he became the father of Lamech.(R) 26 After he became the father of Lamech, Methuselah lived 782 years and had other sons and daughters. 27 Altogether, Methuselah lived a total of 969 years, and then he died.
28 When Lamech had lived 182 years, he had a son. 29 He named him Noah[c](S) and said, “He will comfort us in the labor and painful toil of our hands caused by the ground the Lord has cursed.(T)” 30 After Noah was born, Lamech lived 595 years and had other sons and daughters. 31 Altogether, Lamech lived a total of 777 years, and then he died.
32 After Noah was 500 years old,(U) he became the father of Shem,(V) Ham and Japheth.(W)

Dòng Dõi A-đam Ðến Ðời Con Cháu Nô-ê
5 Ðây là gia phả của dòng dõi A-đam. Khi Ðức Chúa Trời dựng nên loài người, Ngài dựng nên họ theo hình ảnh của Ðức Chúa Trời. 2 Ngài dựng nên người nam và người nữ. Ngài ban phước cho họ, và trong ngày Ngài dựng nên họ, Ngài gọi họ là “Loài Người.”[a]
3 Khi A-đam sống được một trăm ba mươi tuổi, ông sinh một con trai, hình dạng giống như ông, gương mặt giống hệt ông; ông đặt tên cho con trai đó là Sết. 4 Sau khi sinh Sết, A-đam sống thêm tám trăm năm, sinh các con trai và các con gái. 5 Như vậy A-đam hưởng thọ chín trăm ba mươi tuổi, rồi qua đời.
6 Khi Sết sống được một trăm lẻ năm tuổi, ông sinh Ê-nốt. 7 Sau khi sinh Ê-nốt, Sết sống thêm tám trăm lẻ bảy năm, sinh các con trai và các con gái. 8 Như vậy Sết hưởng thọ chín trăm mười hai tuổi, rồi qua đời.
9 Khi Ê-nốt sống được chín mươi tuổi, ông sinh Kê-nan. 10 Sau khi sinh Kê-nan, Ê-nốt sống thêm tám trăm mười lăm năm, sinh các con trai và các con gái. 11 Như vậy Ê-nốt hưởng thọ chín trăm lẻ năm tuổi, rồi qua đời.
12 Khi Kê-nan sống được bảy mươi tuổi, ông sinh Ma-ha-la-lên. 13 Sau khi Kê-nan sinh Ma-ha-la-lên, ông sống thêm tám trăm bốn mươi năm, sinh các con trai và các con gái. 14 Như vậy Kê-nan hưởng thọ chín trăm mười tuổi, rồi qua đời.
15 Khi Ma-ha-la-lên sống được sáu mươi lăm tuổi, ông sinh Gia-rết. 16 Sau khi sinh Gia-rết, Ma-ha-la-lên sống thêm tám trăm ba mươi năm, sinh các con trai và các con gái. 17 Như vậy Ma-ha-la-lên hưởng thọ tám trăm chín mươi lăm tuổi, rồi qua đời.
18 Khi Gia-rết sống được một trăm sáu mươi hai tuổi, ông sinh Ê-nóc. 19 Sau khi sinh Ê-nóc, Gia-rết sống thêm tám trăm năm, sinh các con trai và các con gái. 20 Như vậy Gia-rết hưởng thọ chín trăm sáu mươi hai tuổi, rồi qua đời.
21 Khi Ê-nóc sống được sáu mươi lăm tuổi, ông sinh Mê-thu-sê-la. 22 Sau khi sinh Mê-thu-sê-la, Ê-nóc đi với Ðức Chúa Trời trong ba trăm năm, và sinh các con trai và các con gái. 23 Như vậy Ê-nóc sống ở đời chỉ ba trăm sáu mươi lăm năm. 24 Ê-nóc đi với Ðức Chúa Trời, rồi biệt tích, vì Ðức Chúa Trời đã cất ông đi.
25 Khi Mê-thu-sê-la sống được một trăm tám mươi bảy tuổi, ông sinh La-méc. 26 Sau khi sinh La-méc, Mê-thu-sê-la sống thêm bảy trăm tám mươi hai năm, sinh các con trai và các con gái. 27 Như vậy Mê-thu-sê-la hưởng thọ chín trăm sáu mươi chín tuổi, rồi qua đời.
28 Khi La-méc sống được một trăm tám mươi hai tuổi, ông sinh một con trai. 29 Ông đặt tên cho con trai đó là Nô-ê và bảo rằng, “Từ trong đất đã bị Chúa nguyền rủa, đứa trẻ nầy sẽ đem đến chúng ta niềm an ủi cho công lao khó nhọc của chúng ta và cho công sức vất vả của đôi tay chúng ta.” 30 Sau khi sinh Nô-ê, La-méc sống thêm năm trăm chín mươi lăm năm, sinh các con trai và các con gái. 31 Như vậy La-méc hưởng thọ bảy trăm bảy mươi bảy tuổi, rồi qua đời.
32 Còn Nô-ê, khi được năm trăm tuổi, Nô-ê sinh Sem, Cham, và Gia-phết.

3 When Adam had lived 130 years, he fathered a son in his own likeness, according to his image, and named him Seth. 4 Then the days of Adam after he fathered Seth were eight hundred years, and he fathered other sons and daughters. 5 So all the days that Adam lived were 930 years, and he died.
6 Now Seth lived 105 years, and fathered Enosh. 7 Then Seth lived 807 years after he fathered Enosh, and he fathered other sons and daughters. 8 So all the days of Seth were 912 years, and he died.

15 Now Mahalalel lived sixty-five years, and fathered Jared. 16 Then Mahalalel lived 830 years after he fathered Jared, and he fathered other sons and daughters. 17 So all the days of Mahalalel were 895 years, and he died.
18 Now Jared lived 162 years, and fathered Enoch. 19 Then Jared lived eight hundred years after he fathered Enoch, and he fathered other sons and daughters. 20 So all the days of Jared were 962 years, and he died.
21 Now Enoch lived sixty-five years, and fathered Methuselah. 22 Then Enoch (D)walked with God three hundred years after he fathered Methuselah, and he fathered other sons and daughters. 23 So all the days of Enoch were 365 years. 24 (E)Enoch walked with God; and he was [a]not, for God (F)took him.
25 Now Methuselah lived 187 years, and fathered Lamech. 26 Then Methuselah lived 782 years after he fathered Lamech, and he fathered other sons and daughters. 27 So all the days of Methuselah were 969 years, and he died.
28 Now Lamech lived 182 years, and fathered a son. 29 And he named him Noah, saying, “This one will give us comfort from our work and from the hard labor of our hands caused by (G)the ground which the Lord has cursed.” 30 Then Lamech lived 595 years after he fathered Noah, and he fathered other sons and daughters. 31 So all the days of Lamech were 777 years, and he died.
32 Now after Noah was (H)five hundred years old, Noah fathered Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
