2 Sinabi(A) ng Diyos kay Moises, “Ako si Yahweh. 3 Nagpakita ako kina Abraham, Isaac at Jacob bilang Makapangyarihang Diyos ngunit hindi ako nagpakilala sa kanila sa pangalang Yahweh. 4 Gumawa ako ng kasunduan sa kanila at nangako akong ibibigay sa kanila ang Canaan, ang lupaing tinirhan nila noon bilang mga dayuhan.

2 God also said to Moses, “I am the Lord.(A) 3 I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob as God Almighty,[a](B) but by my name(C) the Lord[b](D) I did not make myself fully known to them. 4 I also established my covenant(E) with them to give them the land(F) of Canaan, where they resided as foreigners.(G)

4 And I have also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, wherein they were strangers.
