33 Lộ trình và các địa điểm hạ trại từ Ai-cập đến Giô-đanh. 2 Đây là các địa điểm dân Y-sơ-ra-ên hạ trại sau khi rời Ai-cập tiến lên theo hàng ngũ dưới quyền chỉ huy của Môi-se và A-rôn. Môi-se vâng lịnh CHÚA ghi chép cuộc hành trình của dân chúng theo thứ tự các địa điểm hạ trại. Đây là các chặng đường: 3 dân Y-sơ-ra-ên từ Ram-se lên đường ngày mười lăm tháng giêng, một ngày sau Lễ Vượt Qua, họ anh dũng kéo ra trước mắt toàn dân Ai-cập. 4 Dân ấy đang chôn cất các con trai đầu lòng mà CHÚA đã đánh hạ, vì CHÚA đã đoán phạt các thần của họ.
5 Sau khi bỏ Ram-se, dân Y-sơ-ra-ên hạ trại tại Su-cốt; 6 rời Su-cốt và hạ trại tại Ê-tam; nơi giáp ranh sa mạc; 7 rời Ê-tam quay lại Phi Ha-hi-rốt, phía đông Ba-an Sê-phôn, và hạ trại tại Mích-đôn.
8 Họ rời Phi Ha-hi-rốt, đi qua giữa biển mà vào sa mạc; đi được ba ngày trong sa mạc Ê-tam, họ hạ trại tại Ma-ra. 9 Rời Ma-ra họ đến Ê-lim; là nơi có mười hai dòng suối và bảy mươi cây chà là và hạ trại tại đó.
10 Rời Ê-lim, họ hạ trại bên bờ Hồng-hải;
11 rời bờ Hồng Hải họ đóng trại trong sa mạc Sin.
12 Rời sa mạc Sin họ đóng trại tại Đáp-ca.
13 Rời Đáp-ca họ hạ trại tại A-lúc.
14 Rời A-lúc họ hạ trại tại Rê-phi-đim, là nơi không có nước ngọt cho người ta uống.
15 Rời Rê-phi-đim họ hạ trại trong sa mạc Si-nai.
16 Rời sa mạc Si-nai họ hạ trại tại Kíp-rốt-Ha-tha-va.
17 Rời Kíp-rốt Ha-tha-va họ hạ trại tại Hát-sê-rốt.
18 Rời Hát-sê-rốt họ hạ trại tại Rít-ma.
19 Rời Rít-ma họ hạ trại tại Ri-môn Phê-rết.
20 Rời Ri-môn Phê-rết họ hạ trại tại Líp-na.
21 Rời Líp-na họ hạ trại tại Ri-sa.
22 Rời Ri-sa họ hạ trại tại Kê-hê-la-tha.
23 Rời Kê-hê-la-tha họ hạ trại tại núi Sê-phe.
24 Rời núi Sê-phe họ hạ trại tại Ha-ra-đa.
25 Rời Ha-ra-đa họ hạ trại tại Mác-hê-lốt.
26 Rời Mác-hê-lốt họ hạ trại tại Ta-hát.
27 Rời Ta-hát họ hạ trại tại Ta-rách.
28 Rời Ta-rách họ hạ trại tại Mít-ga.
29 Rời Mít-ga họ hạ trại tại Hách-mô-na.
30 Rời Hách-mô-na họ hạ trại tại Mô-sê-rốt.
31 Rời Mô-sê-rốt họ hạ trại tại Bê-nê Gia-can.
32 Rời Bê-nê Gia-can họ hạ trại tại Hô-ghi-gát.
33 Rời Hô-ghi-gát họ hạ trại tại Dốt-ba-tha.
34 Rời Dốt-ba-tha họ hạ trại tại Áp-rô-na.
35 Rời Áp-rô-na họ hạ trại tại Ê-xi-ôn Ghê-be.
36 Rời Ê-xi-ôn Ghê-be họ hạ trại trong sa mạc Xin, nghĩa là tại Ca-đê.
37 Rời Ca-đê họ hạ trại tại núi Hô-rơ, ở chót đầu xứ Ê-đôm. 38 Theo lệnh CHÚA, thầy tế lễ A-rôn leo lên núi Hô-rơ rồi qua đời ngày mồng một tháng năm năm thứ bốn mươi sau khi dân Y-sơ-ra-ên ra khỏi Ai-cập. 39 A-rôn hưởng thọ được một trăm hai mươi ba tuổi khi qua đời trên núi Hô-rơ.
40 Vua A-hát người Ca-na-an sống tại miền nam Ca-na-an đã nghe tin dân Y-sơ-ra-ên sắp đến nơi.
41 Rời núi Hô-rơ họ hạ trại tại Xa-mô-na.
42 Rời Xa-mô-na họ hạ trại tại Phu-nôn.
43 Rời Phu-nôn họ hạ trại tại Ô-bốt.
44 Rời Ô-bốt họ hạ trại tại Y-giê A-ba-rim, trên bờ cõi Mô-áp.
45 Rời Y-giê A-ba-rim, họ hạ trại tại Đi-bôn Gát.
46 Rời Đi-bôn Gát, họ hạ trại tại Anh-môn Đíp-lát-tha-im.
47 Rời Anh-môn Đíp-lát-tha-im, họ hạ trại trên núi A-ba-rim, gần Nê-bô.
48 Rời núi A-ba-rim, họ hạ trại trong đồng ruộng Mô-áp bên sông Giô-đanh đối ngang Giê-ri-cô.
49 Tại đồng bằng Mô-áp, họ hạ trại dọc sông Giô-đanh từ Bết-giê-si-mốt cho đến A-bên Si-tim.
50 Trong đồng bằng Mô-áp bên sông Giô-đanh, đối ngang Giê-ri-cô, CHÚA bảo Môi-se: 51 “Con hãy nói với dân Y-sơ-ra-ên, khi các ngươi qua sông Giô-đanh để vào xứ Ca-na-an, 52 hãy đuổi tất cả dân cư trong xứ đi. Hãy hủy diệt các tượng chạm và tượng đúc và phá đổ tất cả các nơi cao của họ. 53 Hãy chiếm hữu đất đai và định cư tại đó vì Ta đã ban cho các ngươi chiếm hữu xứ ấy. 54 Hãy bắt thăm chia đất theo bộ tộc của họ, cho nhóm đông được hưởng miếng đất lớn, nhóm nhỏ được hưởng miếng đất nhỏ, và được làm chủ miếng đất ấy. Hãy phân phối đất đai theo bộ tộc.
55 Nhưng nếu các ngươi không đuổi dân cư trong xứ, những kẻ các ngươi cho ở lại sẽ như gai đâm trong mắt, chông xóc vào hông. Họ sẽ gây rối cho các ngươi trong xứ các ngươi ở. 56 Lúc ấy, Ta sẽ làm cho các ngươi điều Ta đã làm cho họ.”

Stages in Israel’s Journey
33 Here are the stages in the journey(A) of the Israelites when they came out of Egypt(B) by divisions under the leadership of Moses and Aaron.(C) 2 At the Lord’s command Moses recorded(D) the stages in their journey(E). This is their journey by stages:
3 The Israelites set out(F) from Rameses(G) on the fifteenth day of the first month, the day after the Passover.(H) They marched out defiantly(I) in full view of all the Egyptians, 4 who were burying all their firstborn,(J) whom the Lord had struck down among them; for the Lord had brought judgment(K) on their gods.(L)
5 The Israelites left Rameses and camped at Sukkoth.(M)
6 They left Sukkoth and camped at Etham, on the edge of the desert.(N)
7 They left Etham, turned back to Pi Hahiroth, to the east of Baal Zephon,(O) and camped near Migdol.(P)
8 They left Pi Hahiroth[a](Q) and passed through the sea(R) into the desert, and when they had traveled for three days in the Desert of Etham, they camped at Marah.(S)
9 They left Marah and went to Elim, where there were twelve springs and seventy palm trees, and they camped(T) there.
10 They left Elim(U) and camped by the Red Sea.[b]
11 They left the Red Sea and camped in the Desert of Sin.(V)
12 They left the Desert of Sin and camped at Dophkah.
13 They left Dophkah and camped at Alush.
14 They left Alush and camped at Rephidim, where there was no water for the people to drink.(W)
15 They left Rephidim(X) and camped in the Desert of Sinai.(Y)
16 They left the Desert of Sinai and camped at Kibroth Hattaavah.(Z)
17 They left Kibroth Hattaavah and camped at Hazeroth.(AA)
18 They left Hazeroth and camped at Rithmah.
19 They left Rithmah and camped at Rimmon Perez.
20 They left Rimmon Perez and camped at Libnah.(AB)
21 They left Libnah and camped at Rissah.
22 They left Rissah and camped at Kehelathah.
23 They left Kehelathah and camped at Mount Shepher.
24 They left Mount Shepher and camped at Haradah.
25 They left Haradah and camped at Makheloth.
26 They left Makheloth and camped at Tahath.
27 They left Tahath and camped at Terah.
28 They left Terah and camped at Mithkah.
29 They left Mithkah and camped at Hashmonah.
30 They left Hashmonah and camped at Moseroth.(AC)
31 They left Moseroth and camped at Bene Jaakan.(AD)
32 They left Bene Jaakan and camped at Hor Haggidgad.
33 They left Hor Haggidgad and camped at Jotbathah.(AE)
34 They left Jotbathah and camped at Abronah.
35 They left Abronah and camped at Ezion Geber.(AF)
36 They left Ezion Geber and camped at Kadesh, in the Desert of Zin.(AG)
37 They left Kadesh and camped at Mount Hor,(AH) on the border of Edom.(AI) 38 At the Lord’s command Aaron the priest went up Mount Hor, where he died(AJ) on the first day of the fifth month of the fortieth year(AK) after the Israelites came out of Egypt.(AL) 39 Aaron was a hundred and twenty-three years old when he died on Mount Hor.
40 The Canaanite king(AM) of Arad,(AN) who lived in the Negev(AO) of Canaan, heard that the Israelites were coming.
41 They left Mount Hor and camped at Zalmonah.
42 They left Zalmonah and camped at Punon.
43 They left Punon and camped at Oboth.(AP)
44 They left Oboth and camped at Iye Abarim, on the border of Moab.(AQ)
45 They left Iye Abarim and camped at Dibon Gad.
46 They left Dibon Gad and camped at Almon Diblathaim.
47 They left Almon Diblathaim and camped in the mountains of Abarim,(AR) near Nebo.(AS)
48 They left the mountains of Abarim(AT) and camped on the plains of Moab(AU) by the Jordan(AV) across from Jericho.(AW) 49 There on the plains of Moab they camped along the Jordan from Beth Jeshimoth(AX) to Abel Shittim.(AY)
50 On the plains of Moab by the Jordan across from Jericho(AZ) the Lord said to Moses, 51 “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘When you cross the Jordan into Canaan,(BA) 52 drive out all the inhabitants of the land before you. Destroy all their carved images and their cast idols, and demolish all their high places.(BB) 53 Take possession of the land and settle in it, for I have given you the land to possess.(BC) 54 Distribute the land by lot,(BD) according to your clans.(BE) To a larger group give a larger inheritance, and to a smaller group a smaller one.(BF) Whatever falls to them by lot will be theirs. Distribute it according to your ancestral tribes.(BG)
55 “‘But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land, those you allow to remain will become barbs in your eyes and thorns(BH) in your sides. They will give you trouble in the land where you will live. 56 And then I will do to you what I plan to do to them.(BI)’”

33 These are the journeys of the children of Israel, which went forth out of the land of Egypt with their armies under the hand of Moses and Aaron.
2 And Moses wrote their goings out according to their journeys by the commandment of the Lord: and these are their journeys according to their goings out.
3 And they departed from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the morrow after the passover the children of Israel went out with an high hand in the sight of all the Egyptians.
4 For the Egyptians buried all their firstborn, which the Lord had smitten among them: upon their gods also the Lord executed judgments.
5 And the children of Israel removed from Rameses, and pitched in Succoth.
6 And they departed from Succoth, and pitched in Etham, which is in the edge of the wilderness.
7 And they removed from Etham, and turned again unto Pihahiroth, which is before Baalzephon: and they pitched before Migdol.
8 And they departed from before Pihahiroth, and passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness, and went three days'journey in the wilderness of Etham, and pitched in Marah.
9 And they removed from Marah, and came unto Elim: and in Elim were twelve fountains of water, and threescore and ten palm trees; and they pitched there.
10 And they removed from Elim, and encamped by the Red sea.
11 And they removed from the Red sea, and encamped in the wilderness of Sin.
12 And they took their journey out of the wilderness of Sin, and encamped in Dophkah.
13 And they departed from Dophkah, and encamped in Alush.
14 And they removed from Alush, and encamped at Rephidim, where was no water for the people to drink.
15 And they departed from Rephidim, and pitched in the wilderness of Sinai.
16 And they removed from the desert of Sinai, and pitched at Kibrothhattaavah.
17 And they departed from Kibrothhattaavah, and encamped at Hazeroth.
18 And they departed from Hazeroth, and pitched in Rithmah.
19 And they departed from Rithmah, and pitched at Rimmonparez.
20 And they departed from Rimmonparez, and pitched in Libnah.
21 And they removed from Libnah, and pitched at Rissah.
22 And they journeyed from Rissah, and pitched in Kehelathah.
23 And they went from Kehelathah, and pitched in mount Shapher.
24 And they removed from mount Shapher, and encamped in Haradah.
25 And they removed from Haradah, and pitched in Makheloth.
26 And they removed from Makheloth, and encamped at Tahath.
27 And they departed from Tahath, and pitched at Tarah.
28 And they removed from Tarah, and pitched in Mithcah.
29 And they went from Mithcah, and pitched in Hashmonah.
30 And they departed from Hashmonah, and encamped at Moseroth.
31 And they departed from Moseroth, and pitched in Benejaakan.
32 And they removed from Benejaakan, and encamped at Horhagidgad.
33 And they went from Horhagidgad, and pitched in Jotbathah.
34 And they removed from Jotbathah, and encamped at Ebronah.
35 And they departed from Ebronah, and encamped at Eziongaber.
36 And they removed from Eziongaber, and pitched in the wilderness of Zin, which is Kadesh.
37 And they removed from Kadesh, and pitched in mount Hor, in the edge of the land of Edom.
38 And Aaron the priest went up into mount Hor at the commandment of the Lord, and died there, in the fortieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the first day of the fifth month.
39 And Aaron was an hundred and twenty and three years old when he died in mount Hor.
40 And king Arad the Canaanite, which dwelt in the south in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming of the children of Israel.
41 And they departed from mount Hor, and pitched in Zalmonah.
42 And they departed from Zalmonah, and pitched in Punon.
43 And they departed from Punon, and pitched in Oboth.
44 And they departed from Oboth, and pitched in Ijeabarim, in the border of Moab.
45 And they departed from Iim, and pitched in Dibongad.
46 And they removed from Dibongad, and encamped in Almondiblathaim.
47 And they removed from Almondiblathaim, and pitched in the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo.
48 And they departed from the mountains of Abarim, and pitched in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho.
49 And they pitched by Jordan, from Bethjesimoth even unto Abelshittim in the plains of Moab.
50 And the Lord spake unto Moses in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho, saying,
51 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye are passed over Jordan into the land of Canaan;
52 Then ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their pictures, and destroy all their molten images, and quite pluck down all their high places:
53 And ye shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land, and dwell therein: for I have given you the land to possess it.
54 And ye shall divide the land by lot for an inheritance among your families: and to the more ye shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer ye shall give the less inheritance: every man's inheritance shall be in the place where his lot falleth; according to the tribes of your fathers ye shall inherit.
55 But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell.
56 Moreover it shall come to pass, that I shall do unto you, as I thought to do unto them.
