For we are (A)God's fellow workers. You are God's field, (B)God's building.

10 (C)According to the grace of God given to me, like a skilled[a] master builder I laid a (D)foundation, and (E)someone else is building upon it. Let each one take care how he builds upon it. 11 For no one can lay a (F)foundation other (G)than that which is laid, (H)which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw— 13 (I)each one's work will become manifest, for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed (J)by fire, and (K)the fire will test what sort of work each one has done. 14 If the work that anyone has built on the foundation survives, (L)he will receive a reward. 15 If anyone's work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, (M)but only as through fire.

16 (N)Do you not know that you[b] are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you? 17 If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him. For (O)God's temple is holy, and you are that temple.

18 (P)Let no one deceive himself. (Q)If anyone among you thinks that he is wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise. 19 For (R)the wisdom of this world is folly with God. For it is written, (S)“He catches the wise in their craftiness,” 20 and again, (T)“The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile.” 21 So (U)let no one boast in men. For (V)all things are yours, 22 whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future—all are yours, 23 and (W)you are Christ's, and (X)Christ is God's.

θεοῦ γάρ ἐσμεν συνεργοί· θεοῦ γεώργιον, θεοῦ οἰκοδομή ἐστε.

For we are co-workers in God’s service;(A) you are God’s field,(B) God’s building.(C)

10 By the grace God has given me,(D) I laid a foundation(E) as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care. 11 For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.(F) 12 If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, 13 their work will be shown for what it is,(G) because the Day(H) will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work.(I) 14 If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward.(J) 15 If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss but yet will be saved—even though only as one escaping through the flames.(K)

16 Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple(L) and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?(M) 17 If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple.

18 Do not deceive yourselves. If any of you think you are wise(N) by the standards of this age,(O) you should become “fools” so that you may become wise. 19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness(P) in God’s sight. As it is written: “He catches the wise in their craftiness”[a];(Q) 20 and again, “The Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are futile.”[b](R) 21 So then, no more boasting about human leaders!(S) All things are yours,(T) 22 whether Paul or Apollos(U) or Cephas[c](V) or the world or life or death or the present or the future(W)—all are yours, 23 and you are of Christ,(X) and Christ is of God.

  3. 1 Corinthians 3:22 That is, Peter

For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.

10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.

11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;

13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.

15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.

19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.

20 And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.

21 Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are your's;

22 Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are your's;

23 And ye are Christ's; and Christ is God's.
