1 Chronicles 15:1-3
King James Version
15 And David made him houses in the city of David, and prepared a place for the ark of God, and pitched for it a tent.
2 Then David said, None ought to carry the ark of God but the Levites: for them hath the Lord chosen to carry the ark of God, and to minister unto him for ever.
3 And David gathered all Israel together to Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the Lord unto his place, which he had prepared for it.

The Ark Brought to Jerusalem
15 David[a] built houses for himself in the city of David. And he prepared a place for the ark of God and (A)pitched a tent for it. 2 Then David said that no one but the Levites may carry (B)the ark of God, for the Lord had chosen them to carry the ark of the Lord and to minister to him forever. 3 (C)And David assembled all Israel at Jerusalem to bring up the ark of the Lord (D)to its place, which he had prepared for it.

Ang Paghahanda sa Pagkuha ng Kahon ng Kasunduan
15 Nagpatayo si David ng mga gusali sa kanyang lungsod[a] para sa sarili niya. Nagpagawa rin siya ng tolda para sa Kahon ng Dios, at inilagay niya ito nang maayos sa lugar na kanyang inihanda para rito. 2 Pagkatapos, sinabi ni David, “Walang ibang tagabuhat ng Kahon ng Dios maliban sa mga Levita, dahil sila ang pinili ng Panginoon na magbuhat ng Kahon ng Panginoon at maglingkod sa presensya niya magpakailanman.” 3 Tinipon ni David ang lahat ng mga Israelita sa Jerusalem na magdadala ng Kahon ng Panginoon sa lugar na inihanda niya para rito.
